Equipmentfacts is an American company that gives auctioneers a simple, cost-effective platform for simulcasting live, on-site equipment auctions to an international audience of bidders. Backed by Machinery Trader, TractorHouse, Truck Paper, and other leading marketplaces, the Equipmentfacts online auction solution offers an industry-specific bidding system that reaches customers actively seeking to bid online for new and used heavy machinery, agricultural equipment, trucks, trailers, attachments, and similar assets.
How Equipmentfacts Works
Auction listings appear on the Equipmentfacts.com website with photos, specifications, descriptions, and videos. The searchable, user-friendly site lets potential bidders contact sellers via phone, email, video chat, and popular apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Equipmentfacts staff will handle many of the most time-consuming aspects of bidder management on auction day, including uploading the sales day catalog, managing bidder registrations and approvals, submitting online bids to the auctioneer, and answering bidder questions. Bidders anywhere in the world can simply log on and bid directly from their computers.
Your Trusted Equipment Auction Solution
Equipmentfacts is a product of Sandhills Global, a worldwide information processing company headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. Established in 1978, Sandhills is well-known for its online platforms serving the construction, agriculture, commercial trucking, and aviation markets.
The company generally enjoys a positive reputation for its user-friendly online auction platform and efficient customer service, with many customers expressing satisfaction with their bidding experiences and prompt assistance when issues arise. However, several concerns have emerged, including frustrations with bid discrepancies, lack of acknowledgment for pre-bids, and occasional technical difficulties that hinder the bidding process. Customers also noted issues with communication and billing accuracy, particularly regarding buyer premiums. Overall, while the company demonstrates strengths in customer support and auction execution, addressing these recurring concerns could enhance overall customer satisfaction.

I can't find the items on the invoice or who to send payment to.
I purchased Lot # 141 a Caterpillar 330F excavator from the Thomas Auction. It was advertised to be a 2019 model. The local Cat dealer tells me that it is a 2018 model. Thomas Auction has told me that they do not insert the year model into their ad. He tells me that Equipment Facts ads the year model. One year makes a big difference in the equipment world.
Little confusing on the website. I had to call auction to figure it out.
Good good good good good good good good good good good good good
Thank you for the feedback!
Bidding is easy. I was able to see all the items clearly, and they each had descriptions about the items
Thank you for the feedback!
Voice through the speaker was highly variable.
The bid option would not change until the auction was almost closed, preventing me from bidding earlier in the item and not getting to bid on several items
Thank you for the feedback, I'll et it along to the seller.
Everything was great except couldn't hear auctioneer, sounded like his Bluetooth was out of range
Thank you for the feedback.
Went smooth no issues. Received e mails same day with correct instructions.
Thanks for the feedback!
Overall a good experience. A couple lots were a little slow becoming available and onsite bidding had already began, but that's part on online bidding.
Thanks for the feedback Jeremy!
A very positive experience. In particular I am very happy with the service provided by Green & Sons, LTD who were able to provide solutions to issues that unexpected develop.
We appreciate the feedback, Gabriel!
That was my first time bidding during a live auction. The pace was very fast compared to the other online auctions.
We appreciate the feedback, Randy!
Fine, first time doing this. Used cell phone, android, checking items tagged to watch was somewhat confusing for me. Like finding link, getting back from watch list to the live auction.
Thank you Scot! It should more comfortable as you become familiar with the format.
Your audio kept going off. For the amount of money you charge that is bull $#*!. And unacceptable to me.
Thanks for the feedback, Robert. We don't charge a fee to use the platform. However, the seller way charge a buyer's premium on each item.
Being a disabled Vet it was great to bid online. But the paying for what I got is somewhat confusing. Can I pay for it on site when I pick it up providing, I am in the 3-day window.
Thanks for the feedback!
I didn't like the fact that when I was looking at equipment further down in order of the current listing up for bid when the item sold the listing's would scroll back to the next listing up for bid
Thanks for the feedback, James!
I clearly won a bid. Placed bid and auctioneer went around one last time BUT still have to floor bidder. I bid almost half a minute before he whacked the gavel! I've bid on other online auctions with no problems. Wolgemuth may not get my future business!
Thanks for the feedback!
I was very pleased and happy buying a tractor on Equipment Facts! So easy! I placed a Pre-Bid and wound up with the tractor!
We appreciate your feedback, Chester!
Starting out Bidding on lower value items should be allowed to be under the $25 amount, such as bidding on one book or a small toy.
Otherwise my experience was ok.
Thanks for the feedback Mark
Everything went as expected it was helpful to me being able to buy equipment that I was not able to attend the auction
Thanks for the feedback Thomas!
I find it's really hard to navigate. There should be an option to sort only within the current auction you were bidding on should be checkboxes to show you lots that have not closed yet
Thanks for the feedback, I'll the them know.
Please reach out directly to the seller the invoice an payment instructions. You will pay them directly.
