Equipmentfacts is an American company that gives auctioneers a simple, cost-effective platform for simulcasting live, on-site equipment auctions to an international audience of bidders. Backed by Machinery Trader, TractorHouse, Truck Paper, and other leading marketplaces, the Equipmentfacts online auction solution offers an industry-specific bidding system that reaches customers actively seeking to bid online for new and used heavy machinery, agricultural equipment, trucks, trailers, attachments, and similar assets.
How Equipmentfacts Works
Auction listings appear on the Equipmentfacts.com website with photos, specifications, descriptions, and videos. The searchable, user-friendly site lets potential bidders contact sellers via phone, email, video chat, and popular apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Equipmentfacts staff will handle many of the most time-consuming aspects of bidder management on auction day, including uploading the sales day catalog, managing bidder registrations and approvals, submitting online bids to the auctioneer, and answering bidder questions. Bidders anywhere in the world can simply log on and bid directly from their computers.
Your Trusted Equipment Auction Solution

The company generally enjoys a positive reputation for its user-friendly online auction platform and efficient customer service, with many customers expressing satisfaction with their bidding experiences and prompt assistance when issues arise. However, several concerns have emerged, including frustrations with bid discrepancies, lack of acknowledgment for pre-bids, and occasional technical difficulties that hinder the bidding process. Customers also noted issues with communication and billing accuracy, particularly regarding buyer premiums. Overall, while the company demonstrates strengths in customer support and auction execution, addressing these recurring concerns could enhance overall customer satisfaction.

It was very easy to bid and follow the auction online. The website loaded every thing very quickly and i could here the Auctioneer very well.
I bid $ 2500.00, auction said bid was $3000,00. Charged me $3300.00 on invoice. This is not acceptable. Someone needs to call me ASAP and fix this 214/926-7555. I have been dealing with auction house all day. Running out of time. I would give no stars if that was a option.
The technology used to coordinate on-site bidding with internet bidding is amazing. This is a good auction experience, and the website is easy to understand and follow to proceed with the bidding process. Just register, and you are good to go.
Was pretty smith but had some issues with connecting and loosing connection. But overall things went well
Thanks Tony!
I was not very happy when I bid apparently at the same time as someone else or just a millisecond slower and was not aware that the bid doubled because of that so I ended up paying more than my set price for this piece of equipment. I sure hope it's worth it!
I ended up buying lots 117&118. I really only wanted 118. When you came to lot 117 you offered choice of 117 or 118. I wasn't able to figure out how to tell you I wanted lot 118 so I got 117. Than I had to bid on lot 118.
Thanks for your input Vincent!
Well my experiance was not a very pleasent one. I was winning the internet bid and nobody else was bidding either on the internet or the live in person auction, and equipment facts automatically raised my bid. So the only 2 bids on my item were from myself when i did not bid a second time. Not sure why it did that but i was not to pleased with it also. Cost me more money then it needed to!
Bidding was run very quickly and ended too quickly. I wasn't given the option of bidding the price I wanted, the price for the next bid was put into the box and I had the option of taking that price for my bid or not bidding at all. It was somewhat confusing, I should have had a blank space that I could type in what I wanted to bid. Several items I didn't bother to bid after I saw the bids were going up thousands of dollars at a time. I understand the time restrictions, but an auction should allow online bidders to bid at the amounts they feel comfortable with bidding. If an item is at $5000, I should be able to bid $5200 or $5500, not have a $6000 bid in the box and then bid that or don't bid at all. The speed that items closed at was very fast giving little time to consider what is happening. I often bid online timed auctions where items are all given deadlines on closing and I pick the price that I am bidding until they close.
Thanks for the feedback. We'll let the seller know.

Won the auction I bid on, just had a little difficulty find it later to pay get checked out.
Thank you for the feedback and business!
Bid on several items. Didn't like that the minimum starting bid wasn't clear. Live bidding worked fine.
Thank you for the feedback!
I had a hard time following along in the catalog. It seemed to keep jumping around and not following item to item.
Thank you for the feedback, I'll let them know!
Caused me to lose out on a number of trucks on an auction I was waiting on for a month. And of course it was a saturday so I could not get ahold of anyone. Took my deposit though and wont give it back. Trucks are gone, deposit is gone, couldnt bid. Complete waste of time. I called the actual auction place and they agreed that equipment facts is a terribly buggy site with zero help. Never again.
I had to fix your mess with not receiving invoice after auction. Seller said it was on your end, and vice versa. Shouldn't have been my responsibility it fix this.
Finally recieved invoice. All parties should be on same page. People who did actually help did a great job.
I received help and answers to my questions. The notifications about my items coming up for bid was super helpful.
Thanks for the feedback, Jeff!
Straight forward, bidding went smooth. They could have ran the machine while bidding. Alittle more detail on the machine on the website would have been more helpful.
Thank you for the feedback!
I was outbid on items that I thought I won, and I won an item that Equipmentfacts showed that I was outbid on. Seems like a roll of the dice to use
I can't find the items on the invoice or who to send payment to.
Please reach out directly to the seller the invoice an payment instructions. You will pay them directly.
I purchased Lot # 141 a Caterpillar 330F excavator from the Thomas Auction. It was advertised to be a 2019 model. The local Cat dealer tells me that it is a 2018 model. Thomas Auction has told me that they do not insert the year model into their ad. He tells me that Equipment Facts ads the year model. One year makes a big difference in the equipment world.
Little confusing on the website. I had to call auction to figure it out.
Thanks for the feedback!
