Junk
May 24, 2023

Terrible plan that doesn't even cover many basic generic medications.

GoodRx has better prices on most prescriptions. This is especially shameful given that Elixir is owned by Rite Aid. They have buying power just based on their size.

I signed up for part D beginning January 1. It's not even April and I'm already in the Gap. My pharmacist said it's figured based on what they have paid rather than what I've paid, or maybe a combination. This is BS. It will never be in the customer's favor. All part D insurance is a joke anymore. I will certainly get away from envision at enrollment.

Horrible customer service. First order went fine, I was sent a 3 month supply, after that unable to get even a months supply on time. I have spent countless hours arguing with them about it. What a useless company.

I had chosen not to stay with Envision inasmuch as when Elixir took over, they wrote me and told me if
I did not renew my policy with them, my coverage after the first of the year! Impossible to reach a human being to inquire, so obviously I changed my plan. Corruption at its finest!

They over charge for drugs they want 54.57 for a cream and the exact one from Rite aid is $24.05 what a way to rip off seniors. They is the worst drug company we have ever dealt with we are going leave at the end of the year.
I would never recommend this company to anyone stay away unless you want to get ripped off.

Lousy
October 28, 2020

There is no service. Just try calling. Their return call function does not work. Then try to stop Elixir from changing your plan to a more expensive plan without calling. Email? Nope. They want a call. Very long wait there. Try the return call function again. Nope. It doesn't work. So if you need to call about a prescription, you are going to wait a long time on hold since every customer is also on hold, whether calling about their impending plan change or a prescription issue. I'm checking AARP for an alternative right now.

If I could give a zero rating I would. I called and was transferred several times between "mail order" and "specialty". They seem to have an "air of all business", but unless you have a very basic prescription and order they just want to get you off the phone or transferred to another department ASAP. They actually seem to guess at answers to your questions rather than have the ability to find them; therefore they must not have a very good database of solid answers to questions consumers or potential consumers might ask. They even disconnected me automatically when I entered a response to their phone tree. They really don't care.

This company has a 40-50 page "formulary list" to baffle customers and deny patient prescription. My son is on medicare/medicaid and needs a drug prescribed his doctor. This company keeps denying it playing games for which I have no time. We are at a dead end dealing with this company and its "preauthorization" cheat schemes.

I have had this drug company for a few years and up until recently (2021) I really didn't need to use it. I now only take 3 pills, all pills that have been on the market for many years. With their program, one of my medications would cost me $64.00 for a 30 day supply with them! This drug has been around since I was in my 20's! They called it a Tier 3 drug! I got my prescriptions filled with Good RX and instead paid $18.00 for a 3 month supply. And, today, I received in the mail notification that the 2023 premium is tripling! It is almost as much as my insurance supplement! This is the biggest con in senior care and they should be ashamed of themselves. I will be dropping it on October 15th when I can makes changes. Greed at its finest. Do the Sackler family own this company?

I had been getting a 30 day supply of a certain med from Costco for several months. Then I decided to call Elixir insurance to ask them about pricing from Costco and Elixir mail order. Someone told me that the price would be the same $18.36 whether for a 30 or 90 day supply from either place (except Elixir only works with 90 day supply). So I decided to get the med from Elixir. Big mistake! I received it with an invoice of $422! I have spent hours and hours on the phone with both the pharmacy and mail order trying to get this corrected. They claim that they told me the price of it and that I gave them the okay to send it out. I don't think anyone would have given permission to be charged $422 if they could pay only (a total of) $66 from someplace else!

This mail order pharmacy is the absolute worst ever. My insurance company recommended them. What a complete waste of time. I have tried to transfer my prescriptions from an another mail order company, whom I thought was bad, but I was wrong, Elixir, or whatever their name is, is worse.

Two 2 hour calls to give the feeble agents my prescription info. Two 2 hour calls to try to log into their web site and now they want me to chase my doctors down because they lost my prescription info.

Their web site sucks in the worst possible way. Edits are insane, fields don't fill properly, and they have cascading references from one site to the next.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. RUN... DON'T WALK, AWAY!

I was quoted a $25 co-pay on my prescription. When I checked my bank account they took an unauthorized amount of $60.70 for a $25 prescription. When I called, they informed me that since it was already mailed out, I could not return it and they would not reimburse me for the amount I was quoted, which they did have on a Recorded phone call when I ordered it and asked for the prescription amount. After speaking with five separate people, I have now been trying to deal with my bank with fraudulent charges. Stay away from this pharmacy

This is the worse drug plan. You never know what you are paying for meds. It is never the same price. Most of the time you can use senior care or gold rx cheaper than this co. Can never get billing right.

The story is too long, but in a nutshell, I have been trying to find out why I was sent 1 of the prescriptions I ordered and have had to wait for the others. I have had replies from a number of people and they have all missed the point. They obviously don't understand what they read and maybe they don't read the messages at all. My last email from them was sarcastic and the question was still not answered. I think some people need to be replaced. This is totally unacceptable for customer service.

Terrible service!
November 25, 2020

I have been on the Envision plan for 2 years. In 2021 they will be offering two plans. In order to receive the lower premium plan you must re enroll. I have filed for the different plan on line, I have sent in a hard copy of my enrollment option and I have spoken by phone with a representative. The represenative told me I was enrolled. Today, I find out I am still not enrolled in the plan I requested. I'm told to go to their website and enroll once again, but now their website is down and I can't access it.

Total Rip Off
July 18, 2021

EnvisionRX Plus, which was highly recommended by AARP, is the worst prescription plan ever. Common drugs like doxycycline are considered high tier drugs. There seem to be NO first tier drugs, so none of my drugs has cost less rhan 20. My monthly drug costs have increased from about 55 a month to 125, and the deductible increased 100. I am SO sorry I trusted AARP on such an important decision.

This company gave low drug prices to the medicare.gov find plans site then in February raised the cost of my medicine by hundreds of dollars. Some I can't afford now and will have to go without. I found out too late that this company has been a nightmare for many unsuspecting consumers. If you have the same problem I urge you to call medicare and file a formal complaint with them

This is the only insurance I know that has to review what your doctor prescribed you in before they decide to pay. So once your provider submits the prescription, it could take up to a week for you to even get a response. Then you'll receive a letter in the mail saying, your prescription was denied because your provider never followed up with the Authorization. This company just doesn't want to pay... This is why they don't push to follow up with providers re: your pre auth medication. Unbelievable

So my 84 year old mother who had a stroke was AUTOMATICALLY enrolled in a HIGHER COST plan WITHOUT her consent. She had a stroke and does not read email.

She is on a fixed income, and these CROOKS will collect over $400 from her per year.

THIS COMPANY IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS COUNTRY.
