Best price
August 19, 2019

I booked a hotel in Toronto at a significantly cheaper price than most websites.
After reading the bad reviews I started to panic.
However, everything worked out great. I completed the stay with no issues at all.

Criminal Operation
December 10, 2017

Absolute crooks. Booked Travelodge Inn & Suites in Kissimmee, FL on 12-8-2017 they deducted the money from my account. They then sent me to a page stating they did not actually have that room. Called their customer support number, was told that there was only a single person working there, and he refused to help. I asked to speak to a manager, was told the manager was only in on mondays, and he would not help me either. He then stated the money would be refunded to me when their system felt like doing so, it has not been, at all. Called PayPal and was told I had to wait 7-10 days before escalating it to a fraud claim. Had to go to my card issuer to resolve. This is a criminal operation, period.

They take the full amount when you book. We booked through this site a year in advance then had to cancel within a couple of months. Tried sending emails without any response. Used the online chat however they are never on line and do not reply. Tried calling overseas number to cancel and automated voice directs back to the online site to cancel.

Worst situation ever
September 13, 2018

Booked us for a stay at Great Wolf Lodge for our twins 6th birthday. However, never made the reservation. Now all guests have rooms and we cannot attend their birthday because we don't have a room. They have been awful to us and I have filed a formal complaint with the BBB

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
July 16, 2018

I really wish I'd seen these reviews before I made my booking.
I booked at the Hilton Syon Park for the 14th July 2018. When I arrived at the hotel (after a 5 hour drive in sweltering heat), they had no knowledge of my booking. I had the confirmation number and print out but they still couldn't find anything on the system.
After the hotel had spoken to gta and Elvoline, it seems that Elvoline had 'booked' a room without actually confirming this with the hotel. They did offer to put us in another hotel in central London (not where we wanted to be as we were attending a concert at Twickenham Stadium). And by the time we would have got to said hotel our concert would have already started.

They have offered a refund, but quite frankly that doesn't cut it. My husband and I couldn't have a drink and enjoy ourselves as we had to share another 5 hour car journey back home!

ELVOLINE is a scam & RIP OFF

Their promises are empty. They promise money back cancellations, then use a heap of tech jargon to smoke screen you so that they can "get away with" not refunding you.
And I quote "the European laws does not allow us transfer your money from reservation to reservation"
And excuse like "the automatic system cancelled the reservation " and "unfortunately we are unable to reinstate or refund your reservation" they replied in an email stating..." A cancelled reservation can not be reinstated in all circumstances... it is technically impossible."

WARNING - Dealing with these guys is chucking money away

We booked a hotel room 3 days before arriving in London and got a confirmation from Elvoline.
After 1d we got informed that Elvoline wasn't able to get a room from the hotel we chose and offered another one (double the distance from sights we wanted to visit and with lower ratings).
We called and asked for a different offer. One day after that we were offered a hotel, comparable to the one we originally booked. We agreed to take this offer.
On the day of our flight we received an email, telling us that Elvoline (again) had not been able to get the room confirmed by the hotel and we would get our money back.
Therefore, 3 days after booking a room through Elvoline, we ended up not having a reservation at the day of our flight to London.

Booked 3 rooms for 6 people in Kissimmee Florida for September 23, 24, 25 -2017 at the comfort inn main gate.
Left the first night we got there due to filthy walls, carpet, stains on chairs, white pest powder on bathroom vanity, foul smell etc. etc, but the number one reason was bugs (cockroaches) in the room.
The hotel was in a sold out situation so moving to another room was not an option.
Front desk said they could not refund money as I had to contact the party I booked through - Elvoline.
Well it has been almost two months going back and forth with comfort inn management in Florida their head office and Elvoline and now Elvoline tells me a complaint was never registered at the front desk - are you kidding me?
We have been getting the run around since the complaint was made at the front desk when we vacated with well over 24 e-mails flying back and forth but now both the comfort inn and Elvoline have washed there hands of this whole situation and pretend like they had no idea on what took place.
Do yourself a huge favour and stay away from the comfort inn and Elvoline booking at all costs!

I would NEVER use this company again... Something goes 'Pear Shaped' due to Bali Volcano activity and how accommodating and helpful are they? They aren't at all! Seems a consistent message from other customers - BUYER BEWARE! There are many other reputable and accommodating agencies to use, steer clear of this lot

Never again
May 3, 2019

Booked and paid for a B&B hotel at Disneyland Paris on Monday April 14 (2 adults and 2 children) for Monday 22-4 through Friday 26-4. On Saturday the 20th at 5:57 pm we receive an email that the hotel is fully booked. We were offered an (too good to be true) alternative, to which we had to respond quickly because the room had not been registered. So we send a response within 1.5 hours, accepting the offer and asking for confirmation.

Unfortunately, we could no longer get in touch with Elvoline, by phone or by e-mail. Only Sunday afternoon e received an e-mail that Elvoline has forwarded our request to the alternative hotel. But again we did not receive confirmation of the booking.

At Sunday 5 p.m., the day before departure, we then contacted the alternative ourselves. Nothing was received here from Elvoline, which we also got confirmed by e-mail from this hotel.

Late in the evening we are forced to book a hotel elsewhere, of course much further away from Disneyland. As a result, we had to incur extra costs every day (fuel and tolls) and were unable to use the shuttle service.

Yes, we received the money back, but booking via Elvoline: never again!

I was doing my booking with them and after I hit the PAY button, they said that the room is booked already by someone else; but my money is GONE in my bank account even though I pay thru PAY PAL! I booked the same room with AGODA and it is still available and confirmed. Up to now I have not got my refund! TRIVAGO AND PAY PAL who are supposed to be checking the integrity of these scumbags still continue to deal with them!

I booked into a lovely resort in Cuba for four days over Christmas (22-26 Dec 2017) and was really looking forward to it. On 20th Dec this shocking excuse of a company with hideous customer services cancels my hotel.

On 19th they asked if I would transfer to a cheaper hotel and I explained that the reviews were bad and I didn't book it in the first place because it looked sub standard. I said I was really disappointed and hoped they could do better. Instead of replying to my email and continuing the conversation they simply cancelled my booking and said that because I had refused it was done automatically. I replied as soon as I could saying they had misunderstood but they refused to reverse the process leaving me completely stranded.

Really appreciated being alone in Cuba already with poor access to wifi and being told that the best part of my trip had been cancelled leaving me with no time or money to make decent alternative arrangements in time for Christmas. Extremely disappointed.

We came in today after booking with Trivago who sold us out to a third party Elvoline who changed our booking date without authorization! We got in and was for the wrong date. Elvoline refused to work with us by changing the date or refund. Elvoline wouldn't even give us the # to Trivago! Had to make a dispute with my bank. After 45 min Elvoline admitted they lied and weren't third party to Trivago at all but had our info and would not give us the name of the third party. They said they were from Hungary and had no supervisor. All in all was a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and never use Trivago. If you even read Elvoline anywhere run!

CROOKS -!
I attempted to cancel my reservation and was told 5 days prior was not good enough. I was forced to pay for my entire stay plus also pay a foreign transaction fee, which was not disclosed. I believe I was hijacked by these frauds.
GO ELSEWHERE, Expedia is a good reliable site.

I had fully paid reservation for the hotel in Brussels but at the place Ive heart that there is no reservation like this. I spent about 200 euro for two nights and I couldnt stay in the hotel because they didnt get my reservation and my money. They even didnt have any free room. I phoned to elvoline but the guy told me that he is just broker and he is not responsible for the situation. He also told me that I will not get my money back because the reservation was non refundable. He said that he doeasnt have the problem, and only I have the problem in this case and he cant help me. Ive lost almost whole night to find another hotel in foreign country and city where I was first time in my life. I even had to spend next 300 euro for another hotel. They dont answer me for any e-mail message I send to them. Probably I will never get my money back. BEWARE OF THAT CHEATERS!

No problems!

My best advice would be to call your hotel to confirm after a few days as there is sometimes a delay. I did so and we were on the books.

Overview

The company has garnered mixed reviews, with some customers appreciating the competitive pricing and successful bookings, which alleviated initial concerns. However, a significant number of reviews highlight severe issues with customer service, including unresponsive support, erroneous bookings, and difficulties in obtaining refunds. Many customers reported feeling misled by the booking process, often resulting in last-minute cancellations or being left without accommodations. The prevailing sentiment suggests a lack of reliability and accountability, prompting potential customers to exercise caution and verify bookings directly with hotels to avoid similar pitfalls.
