I joined eharmony and was disappointed from the beginning. None of the men that showed up on my site fit my requirements. I canceled my subscription as soon as possible and received an email confirming the cancellation. To my big surprise after nearly a year, I received a phone call and various emails from a depth collector that worked for eharmony. They claimed that I never canceled and asked for another year membership. Unfortunately, I had deleted the cancelation confirmation email and at the end settled for a 20% discount and paid this off. I have used other dating sites like Match where I met my current boyfriend but would never recommend eharmony!

I have been on eharmony now for a month, I got tricked into a very expensive membership and have had only a couple of messages between myself and people. No one ever replies, no one ever is online, no one reviews your profile…this site doesn't compare to its competitors. On Bumble and other sites I am constantly matching and meeting new people, even if it is just new friendships.
Don't waste your money; I don't know how they can get away with what they are doing…it is obviously a scam.

Outrageous rates that absolutely do not correspond with quality. The free mobile dating apps are a thousand times more likely to find you good matches. A lot of 60+ year olds posing as much younger people. Your personality profile, the thing the company waves around as its best differentiator, has no apparent bearing on the matches you're shown. They lock you into a long membership and immediately threaten action if you're late on a payment. Maybe they used to be a real service, but now they are just running on their previous steam to squeeze as much money as they can from the people left who don't know any better. I had this at the same time as all the popular free dating apps. Where I would get tons of good local matches, same in age and interests on the free apps, eharmony would show me people hundreds of miles away, terrible compatibility, and clearly much much older than they were claiming to be. If you're even moderately normal, this is not the service for you, trust me.

I signed up for e-harmony 4 months ago.
They guaranteed matches.
But they terrible matches.
I was on for a month and decided to cancel my subscription.
Not so easy.
They canceled my subscription but continued to withdraw payment from my account.
I contacted the( via email) because you can't get them on the phone.
They promptly stated that they would continue to pull payment until contract completion.
So I got NOTHING
For $440.
I received nothing.
The are a scam and don't want you to find anyone special.
They just dangle live in your face and feed you garbage!
Don't I repeat! Don't even visit e-harmony

Besides the amount not being worth it, I would highly suggest taking a look at a free trial before ever using this site. They basically trick you into a 6 month/1year and you cannot cancel at anytime. They prey on you and their product is at Par if I'm scoring it best. Literally, no one in my city and if if you do want to find someone they are normally like 100 miles plus and I'm not the only one who has stated this. Good luck but I can't reference site to anyone.

Horrible. They are a scam. They take your money. They force you to be a member for a minimum of 6 months. Do not use them. I tried to cancel, but they make it impossible. They do not offer the services they promised. You pay hundreds of dollars to get 6 matches (all far away) in a week. Just save your money and don't even try this company. I want to sue them, because I feel I have been robbed.

This site is the worst online dating site.
Very few members means it's highly unlikely you'll find a match. Even when you widen your search over 100km, the members are not there. It's so expensive too. I'm so angry at myself for paying all that money on this useless site. It should be shutdown.

They offer you a 7 day free trial, but does not give it to you, nothing Christian about them! Horrible, hard up for money!

The eHarmony, dating site is very misleading and it's set up to collect money by promising good service and delivering nothing. Trying to cancel it's impossible as there are no options of such. It's expensive for giving zero results.

To those who are looking to join e Harmony, DO NOT waste your money. I paid $400 for one year Subscriptions because monthly is much more expensive. I wish they have cancellation policy even with a little fee I was going to be fine with it. I should have done more research before I paid. "You got what you pay for" doesn't apply on this site. Because of the high fee they probably don't have that many clients. It's ridiculous. I hardly have anyone send me the messages or trying to connect with me. I am not desperate, but no one, Come-on! After doing more digging, I saw lots of bad reviews on eHarmony. It's too late now. I wish they are out of business. I am beyond pissed for paying that money. I just want my money back. Other dating sites charged very little fee, I get over 500 likes and hundreds of messages in a few days. I am beyond pissed for paying that $400.

Don't trust this company! They rip you off. If you cancel after just 30 days or less or anytime before 12 months, they keep charging you and them threaten with debt collectors if you don't pay. Do not trust this company. They charge you hundreds of dollars

I was charged 140$ and within hours contacted them by email, (no contact phone number), stating it was a fraudulent charge. It informed me it would take up to 24 hours to reverse the transaction. I have bills due and children to feed and 3 days later I haven't heard a word back. I have contacted an attorney, I believe many others must have the same problem because it's obviously criminal complicince of fraud. This is a crime, I would like to head a class action lawsuit and destroy this company. *******491. If you have also been affected, contact me. The more people there is the more validity we have for conspiracy to commit fraud.

The algorithms they use are worthless. I kept getting matched with men who were philosophically and spiritually the complete opposite of me. Or nowhere near me. Don't waste your time or money.

I signed up for 1 year, immediately cancelled the auto renew, fast forward 1 year and I see a charge on my credit card, I contact them the day after the charge was posted and they refused to refund, instead offered 50% discount. Wait 3 days and see they charged the 50% instead of refunding. I contacted them and they fixed the single over charge of 50%, but I'm still on the hook for the other half of a service I cancelled. I'm so angry at them!

You expose yourself to all sorts of scam when you join them, especially fake profiles, automatic renewals at an outrageously expensive rate or sudden ban for no reason. You would have better luck on any other platform. There are bunch of legit sites without all these tricks and hassles. EHarmony don't offer any real service and don't produce any results. By "results" I mean at least dates in real life. Most of the profiles have fake photos and lie about their location. On top of that, there are bots who "drop you a message" now and then just to keep you interested and hooked.

This is nothing but a money grabber and a horrible service. The service has a very small base it's horrible.
The site itself is poor it needs a lot of help navigating. The site will often blow up causing you to start from the top all over again. I think the base is limited because of the cost. It's really no different than other dating sites other than limited folks and much higher cost. I truly think the main reason they don't offer a monthly service at a higher cost is because once you see it most will bail and see it's no different than others but much more expensive. STAY AWAY.
