eDreams has a rating of 4 stars from 11,062 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. Reviewers satisfied with eDreams most frequently mention good experience, flight ticket and next time. eDreams ranks 1st among Travel Deals sites.
I don't think much needs to be said here as the other reviews have really captured the issues.
If you want to know whether or not you should book with Edreams, read the reviews below and notice 2 things:
1) the only positive reviews are either from customers who booked a simple flight with no issues, or are so obviously fake, written by staff - mostly with poor English that reads as though its part of a marketing campaign.
2) Edreams only responds to the positive reviews. Not a single word is said to anyone who has had a bad experience, they are entirely ignored.
If you are thinking of booking with Edreams, you'd better be feeling lucky. If anything goes remotely wrong with your flights (which is more and more common these days in the post pandemic age), I guarantee you will be without a flight, a refund, or both.
This is how it works - you have a problem so you call up. The person you speak to asks you security questions. Then they read your itinerary to you and ask you what the issue is, so you explain. That person transfers you to another person in a different team, who asks you security questions, and reads your itinerary to you, then asks you to explain the problem, and transfers you to a third person. That third person asks you security questions, reads your itinerary to you, you explain the problem to you. The third person then raises a "priority" task for "the team", and promises you a call back in 24-72 hours to resolve the issue.
Spoiler alert: the call back is never, ever received.
As if that isn't infuriating enough, they will also all repeat the same empty platitudes over and over again which are both condescending and irritating.
Another one of their favorite tricks after you've gone through the above process is to lie to you and tell you that the team tried to contact you, but you didn't answer, so they check your phone number. Its all a script, you will never win.
In Summary - STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. IT IS A SIMPLE MONEY GRAB AND YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF. THE STAFF ARE ALL INSTRUCTED TO LIE TO YOU AND HAVE NO INTEREST OR INTENTION OF REFUNDING YOU OR RESOLVING YOUR PROBLEM.

The company did not reimburse me on time, in fact, I would say they keep telling me that they are dealing with a refund ( only when I call) and I have been waiting for the money I paid for a ticket with Wizzair for 6 months via their website. First, the ticket was bought back in January 2022 and I received an email that they will not have any flights to the destination. I am eligible for a refund or credit to my Wizzair account. I applied for credit, however at a later stage I realized that Edreams used the credit on my behalf on their own account opened in my name (without my authorization from me), they just created a Wizzair account and I failed to get account logins or passwords. I then contacted Wizzair to refund my bank account but they informed me that they would be able to refund it to the actual payer - they basically said that Edreams is acting as a third party! Ok, I tried to contact Edream again in September 2022, each time they told me that they would do something, but still, I didn't get my money back... I called again every month, and finally, last December they emailed me saying they are dealing with my refund (after I basically got mad and asked the lady to email me and not just promise)... next it's February 3rd and no one got back to me, So, I called the Call Center and again they said "sorry". I ask to speak to the manager and they said they will contact me in 2-3 hours. It's a JOCK! No one called me back...So calling Customer Service back - the guy keeps saying sorry but they are all busy...and I got another email again saying they are starting the refund process today! The only way I can believe is to raise an official claim and that I will do! This is the worst experience of my life! Please avoid buying tickets from their website.
No flight number or flight number not recognised so could not check in online.

In March 2018 I bought 2 air tickets from Lima to Cuzco for travel on 18 December 2018 [AU$231]. When we attempted to do an online check in at 9pm on 16 December we got a message from LC PERU saying 'admin error'. We discovered at 1030am on 17 December that our LC Peru flight had been grounded/cancelled by the Peruvian government on 24 November. EDreams thus had had 23 days to 1. Inform us of the grounding 2. Offer us a refund OR 3. Book us on a flight with another domestic airline [There are about 40 flights each day from Lima to Cuzco.] We had heard nothing from them! We then discovered that EDreams has NO customer service phone numbers in the whole of South America. We visited two LC Peru offices in Miraflores about 15 minutes taxi from our hotel but ominously they were closed. We then taxied right across Lima to the airport [50 minutes/ US$20] We then spent 3.5 hours arguing our case with LC Peru staff at their check in desk. They insisted that we were EDreams responsibility not theirs. They did however give us a 'secret' phone number to phone EDreams Barcelona. A man in their Barcelona office denied all knowledge of us and our ticket purchase. Then said "If you need any further help you will have to call us because we won't be calling you." and hung up.
Eventually LC Peru staff assisted us to get an alternative flight to Cuzco with another air line. On 24 November all LC Peru flights had been grounded by the Peruvian government due to safety concerns. [Nothing from EDreams about this.]
Back in Australia we requested our bank to have the AU$231 Visa Card transaction reversed and after 3 weeks they refunded the money into my account.
EDreams had the right for 30 days to challenge this reversal but they never did. They knew they wouldn't win... especially if it went into a Small Claims Court here in Oz... and with the EU precedent that if a flight is delayed more than 4 hours each passenger is entitled to 600 euros compensation.
On 08 January 2019 I received a generic email from EDreams informing that LC Peru had gone bankrupt. Their only communication with me in 10 months.

Never EVER book with eDreams - Scam Artists
Myself and 3 friends booked return flights from Ireland to Japan.The lowest priced flights had connecting times in London of approx 1hr which usually isn't an issue if you have your boarding pass and bags checked through. This is what we thought we had as we only booked one ticket with eDreams and there was no advisory that these are 2 seperate bookings. We contacted Aer lingus, our first airline to be advised that they have NO partnership with Air China and they have no idea why eDreams sold us tickets with such unrealistic connection times. They cannot confirm that we will be able to get our boarding passes when we check in at the start or if our bags will be checked the whole way.
We contacted eDreams about this who advised us that this is the airlines issue and unless we want to change our flight to an earlier flight AND PAY FOR THE CHANGE, there is nothing that they can do about it. If we miss our connecting flight we're on our own and have to pay for a completely new trip. Anyone who has ever been to Heathrow knows that if we do have to collect our flights and book in again there is no way in hell that we will make our next flight. We just want to get to Heathrow earlier so we have some chance of getting on our next flight.
We then got an email from air China advising our flight home through Heathrow has been delayed which leaves us with only a 40min connection window and the flight to Ireland is the last of the day. Again eDreams are refusing to help us.
They are a joke and anyone who is considering booking with them I would advise to stay FAR FAR away. They are scam artists and I wish I had read all the reviews online advising as much before we booked these flights.
I have emailed, Facebook mailed them and contacted them on Twitter and I am still waiting on a response(10 days and counting). Not holding my breathe for anything useful because so far anyone we have talked to has been beyond rude to every one of us.
Very good deals I hope they make more to help the customer in these difficult times. Easy to use.

Answer: Dont believe them. They are a scammer company and just tried to scam me out of my funds. Contact your Credit Card company and file a dispute. SDreams methodology is to frustrate you until you give up from wasting so much time and they get to keep our money. Your Credit Card issuer is on your side and will revers the charges

Answer: I have the same issue. There is no help (from them) available. I gave up calling after three months... which I am sure most people do; they count on this. The savings is modest with their pricing; and hey charge for rescheduling. I rescheduled and after three months still have not received my new ticket. After many phone calls (the wait is VERY LONG to be connected to someone) I gave up; they count on you giving up. An expensive lesson - do not use them.
