Have used Economy Bookings on several occasions, they always provide good cars at fair prices. Will certainly use them again the future.
I obtained economy bookings for my rental car which included the insurance for my trip last March 2021. I had an incident with the vehicle and had to pay out of pocket. I have Contacted this company numerous times to receive my Insurance refund to no avail. On the rare occasion they did reply, it was a stalling tactic that they would get back to me. It is now six months later. After my mission to report them to the Better Business Bureau they stated they could not get my bank information correct, therefore no refund. Which after speaking with my bank all is exactly how it is supposed to be to have the money deposited.My experience was absolutely unacceptable. I'm out over $1000. That's exactly the reason I purchased the insurance. This company has unethical and fraudulent business practices. I recommend that you absolutely do not use economy bookings.

We were quoted and paid a deposit telephonically on a Group C Opel Corsa for collection in Faro, Portugal, only to be informed by e-mail the next day that the particular car was no longer available and that we would have to upgrade, to a more expensive Group D Citroën C3, with an additional deposit, which we then paid. When we however arrived in Faro Airport, late at night, we were given a Group C Opel Corsa, the cheaper car we were initially quoted on but at the increased price. We were therefore misled, either mistakingly or intentionally and the paperwork is clear on this.
We have subsequently taken this up with both the sales manager in EconomyBookings.com and the customer service team of BookingGroup (the holding company) and although we were told that an investigation would be launched and that we should allow 28 working days for that, which has now lapsed, nothing was done about the clear overcharge other than a reply saying that local taxes were added to the price, which is totally untrue.
We were simply misled and overcharged, so best be advised to stay clear of these companies!

We had to cancel our vacation due to Covid not allowing travel. We were told that we CAN'T be refunded. They told us we can have a refund only. When we went to use the refund they only allow you to use $20 of that refund at a time. We would have to book 15 reservations to equal our refund. They are extremely hard to get ahold of and their customer service is horrible. I wish I could give them no starts!

I rented a car on Sept 15 21. The price shown was 57$ per day I immediately entered my credit card info and booked the car. As soon as the transaction was done I realized that the price was $134. Per day for the smaller car available. I called them immediately but they said that it is because the price changed during the 2 minutes that I took to book the car. They said this wasn't reimbursable. During the transaction I had no mention that the price has changed.

This company is a theft. Upon arrival at Los Angeles airport, the thrift car rental company told me to pay 350$ because the (850$) which I paid inadvance for 23 days was not valid for them. This website gives you a cheap price but its not valid. When you get to your destination. I got there late evening and when I tried to reach them their phone was not answering. After a long flight I had no choice to pay extra to get the car. They put you in a trap with the rental car company and the money you paid is nonrefundable so in my case I had no choice to pay 350 $. Before you go with this economybookings do your research, call the rental company like thrift or budget. You pay to economybookings.com, they hook you up for third party. STAY AWAY OR YOU WILL GET INTO THEIR TRAP

Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
