I tried to cancel my car rental almost 2 weeks before I was going on my trip. I paid $117.00 for the rental. When I tried to cancel they said it would cost me $90.00 to cancel. That cancellation policy should be changed, especially with all the health issues in this world today.
Needed car to come from A to B - it worked well. And it was less expensive in Jersey City than permanently call an Uber.

There was a very patient representative name Victoria and helped me understand my billing issue, she was very professional and nice; I was very happy and satisfied with her help.
Very happy with my rental in Tampa international airport, didn't have no problem to pick car or drop off and a got Upgrade because they didn't have the car the I rent.

It's simply awesome that Economical can rent cars one way - we have rented in Edmonton with a drop off in Calgary. Car - Rav 4 was fantastic, clean and brand new. Pick up was done in 5 minutes and drop off in 5 minutes. Not sure what else to expect - top notch service exceeded all expectations.
While booking a rental from Tampa Airport, I came across this company. I was looking for a 10 day rental and wanted to find one under $500. Through them I found a car for about $430 so I booked it. While waiting for our trip I noticed there were some price drops. I contacted them and received refunds so my total price for 10 days was $275 which was great. They had a chart with all car types and rental companies out of Tampa so you could pick the price you wanted. Worked out great.

This is a classic bait and switch operation! I reserved a car for San Diego and when I got my confirmation via email, they had changed all the numbers! It went from a 2-day rental for $94 US to a 1-day rental for $157 US... Their Cancellation Protection went from $22 for two days to $71 for one day and it is non-refundable! Now they will not return my funds. I cancelled the car within one minute of receiving their confirmation. I have ALL the documents. The only thing I don't have is a screen shot of what I entered. Clever! STAY AWAY from this company. They are based in europe.

Very long and ridiculous story short I paid them a deposit for a rental I was needing for my son's birthday trip. The day of I got to address of booking and it doesn't exist the car rental shut down over 2 years ago I call them they give me the run around. Won't help or refund said I have to email cause that department has no phone like what... in the end of there month long investigation they pull out there a-- I was late or didn't show to pick up car so I don't get refund. I didn't show to business that no longer exist... who did they get this info that i didn't get car in time cause the place was long gone. I had to play double for a last minute rental was late checking in to Beach House for sons birthday and they didn't care to make anything right, only lie like they talked to someone at a non existent business. A disgusting company that I hope soon get what they dish out steer clear of them

Jared(?) was very professional and very personable the complete transaction was done within 15 minutes. He noticed on my license that I would be celebrating my 60th b'day in a couple of days and began to sing me HBD! Great, great customer service!
I have been renting from Economy Bookings for over a Year. I have a car as we speak in Jamaica for January. I have been completely satisfied with their competitive pricing available. I do look at other Apps but so far this company is the best! I rented a car for Hawaii and after hearing on the news that it was hard to rent a car, I tried with Economy Bookings and NO Problem. I even booked a car the night before for a day rental on another Island and same great results.
The best way to rent a car so far. Hope it will never change, I will recommended to any one this Company has work for me few times and I will use it again soon.
Their website and prices were good, but you can't rely on them. I paid in full and was told that I would receive the confirmation by email. After a few days, I called to get my confirmation email. I was informed that they cancelled the reservation. They blamed it on Thrifty, Thrifty blamed it on them. They offered to let me rebook a smaller car for $102 more. Since I paid in full with no refund available, I requested an email for my credit card company so I could contest the charge if not refunded. The rep argued with me saying it wasn't necessary. He finally acquiesced, but of course never sent it. No surprise.
Thrifty wouldn't honor my reservation either. The also offered a car at a significantly higher price. I booked another rental through Priceline but because of the delay, the cost was significantly higher

We have booked car for smth around 800eu. Requirement was to have credit card, passport and driving licence. We had all but they refused 1 of my credit card and the other was my credit card in phone. They refused also that one. So we tried to call this service and they told us that its our fault and we wont be getting any help. We called again 3 times and after telling them what the problem is they just hanged up on us (not telling us one word).
Afterwards we paid 1300 eu for a new car on spot (other company).
I have written them around 20 emails until now but they are either not answering or generating same message over and over. Basically telling us we wont be getting any of our money nor voucher.
Im currently also writing EU to check the practice of this company.

Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
