I booked a rental car through Economy Bookings and paid extra for an additional driver, as well as full coverage insurance. When we got to our destination to pick up the car, we were informed full coverage was not included, nor the second driver. We had to pay an additional $338 to Thrifty on top of the $769 I already paid to Economy. Book your rental directly through the car agency, not a third party.

They will not refund your money even for COVID. If you go directly with the rental company or a reputable travel site like Expedia you can get refunds,

When we arrived, Thrifty had no record of booking or payment.
Had to rent another car.
Sent all information to Customer Service and was given a case number.
It's been a month and no response.
Keep sending emails and only get auto generated response.
No way to reach a person to sort this out.
Your policy says over a month and nothing will be done.
Amount is approximately $2,300. Canadian.
Terrible service and question the honesty and integrity of this company.

Everything great! It was my first time with this company and prices are very good in comparison with other companies I always use. The attention was excellent too! The only thing I would recommend Mariño is the deposit of USD 1000 for a car that is not worth it, all other companies I rented before, ask for USD 500 for even better cars. I think USD 1000 is way too big for the car I rented.:)

COMPLETE FRAUD. I am surprised this company is allowed to conduct business in the US with their fraudulent business practices. I fall for the low price they advertised. I made full payment on their site. When i went to the rental car agency they refused to rent the car because i didn't have a credit card. This booking site came up with all kinds of nonsense excuses for not refunding my money. They have a US help line on their site but the hours are in UK time zone. Their support is useless. Mostly tape recordings.

Good company to rent a car. Very easy and friendly counter staff. But when you call customer service for any inconveniences, you MIGHT get an impatient or impolite and rude person to deal with.
I booked a car through economy booking on the 4 of January in Panama City Panama, when arriving on time with my family at the Avis desk l was told that they have no cars available and that they couldn't help me. They were renting cars to other costumers which shows that they did have cars? When I confronted them with that they told me it wasn't my business?
After almost 2 hours of arguing with them l gave up and went to rent a car from another agency where I was overcharged because of my position.
I would not recommend Avis to anyone on the planet they were rude unfriendly and were full of lies.
As for economy booking I would not recommend them to anyone in the universe I've rented many cars in my life but have never been swindled like this before I've written around 6 letters to them and spoken on the phone to them with absolutely no response or intention of giving me my money back.
Do yourselves a favour and stay away from these companies it's not worth the trouble and there are plenty of other good honest companies to work with.

I rented car from economy booking last week at Las Vegas and pay full price including full coverage to economy booking for 400$, once i drop my car the rental car recharge me again over 700$, they said they didn't get full payment from economy booking thus i paid over 1100 usd for simple car for a week+.

I have had the worst experience of a rental car site. I had booked a reservation and finally I thought the price(290$) was very effordable and reasonable compared to all other sites. I got my vehicle details and I went to the thrift agency and the person gave me an "extra" quote of (680$). Not only fooled by the Economy bookings website price, I also got stood up with this wuote at the airport. The person just told me to cancel it, if you can't pay. I cancelled my booking and requested "Thrift" for a refund and they were happy to refund the money. And then I mailed "Economy booking" the very next day and got a reply after 11days and stating about the T&C. I didn't want to cancel, I showed up at the airport and got fooled with the additional price. And also the contact number on the website is completely out of service I guess.

Did a search on Economy Bookings for a car in Kona Hawaii airport, several came up and one was what we needed. Booked it as well as CANCELLATION insurance. When I printed it out noted it was for Oahu Airport (Hawaiian name very similar). Cancelled immediately. And am now being charged $118USD for doing so. Was told the fee was $68USD but because it was in Canadian dollars it was due to "currency fluctuation" well the value of the Canadian dollar did not drop by 50% in a week. What was the cancellation insurance for? VISA has been notified. DO NOT USE ECONOMY BOOKINGS. I wish they had a ZERP rating.

Found what we wanted for a good price. Was easy to book and the price was explained in full on the web site, no surprises when we picked the car up. Will always look at the web site when looking to hire a car.
I had a rental with Thrifty through EconomyBookings. Received an upgrade to a Nissan Kicks, which was a very clean and comfortable vehicle.
Only downside was the washer bottle was completely empty!
Price was half what the major rental companies were charging for the same dates, including Thrifty!

This company continues to disappoint. Firstly, they take very long to correspond to emails.
I was given a voucher to book a car for a previous error they made. I used to voucher to book for a car at "Bond Street Station." I didn't know there was no Avis here and found out on arrival. I phoned Economybookings to ask for them to change the booking seeing as Avis Bond Street Station did not exist despite their website allowing a booking for a car at this location. They refused to allow me to change to another car rental site. Furthermore, after informing them they refused to refund despite this clearly being their error.

Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
