Had to rent a car several times due to my car being totaled by someone. The staff was always very friendly each time (I think I dealt with at least 5 different people over my different rentals), accommodating and always making sure everything about my entire experience was top notch. I booked a car in Madrid airport using aggregator https://www.economybookings.com. When I came to firefly, there was no car of such class. It means economybookings just show bullsh%t that doesn't exist in reality. It means they don't know what cars are actually available.
Because there was no car of booked class, firefly suggested to pay additional price to upgrade the class, pay for service "road assistant" etc. Consequently, the price became 250% of the original one. So I rejected such a brilliant offer. As a result, economybookings just withdrew money from my card for cancelled request.
Seems this is how business is done by economybookings, showing cars that are not available / do not exist and cheating the client asking for credit card details and withdrawing money without providing the service.
I was told a refund for my cancelled car reservation would take 90 days (a delay due to the corona virus). I was OK with that. But now after 90 days have passed I am being told it would take "90 days after the removal of travel restrictions" to get my refund. There are NO travel restrictions on automobile travel, so this is obviously just a ruse to refuse payment. Terrible customer relations, and no phone contact since no one answers their 'contact us' number.
Good location, close from the subway station. I got treated very professionally here. Got a free upgrade twice base on vehicle availability and staff was very efficient and followed protocol during COVID restrictions.
The best rent a car agency that I have used till now. I had a car booked for 7 days from EconomyBookings branch but I came one day later by mistake my wife input wrong dates in reservation. No problems, the shifted the date so I still had 7 days to drive
We had a vehicle for 5 weeks and although it was in dire need of a tune up and service, the car didn't miss a beat. The staff at pick-up and drop off were friendly and easy to communicate with. A very good experience and we'd use the company again for sure.
Always a quick, professional process with the downtown Escondido branch. Both P/U and return are uncomplicated. They always have a vehicle that best suits my needs and upgrade for free if the car I requested is not available.
The first car I was given was larger than booked and within one minute I had to return it as dashboard lights were flashing with tyre issues. I was then given a vehicle that was very old, battered and also had problems once I got over 50mph, it sounded like it was going to take off and the steering wheel shook intermittently! The staff in the office couldn't care less, they looked at me as if I was nothing more than an inconvenience. I complained to the staff in the office and have heard nothing from them since. So not use this company, it really isn't worth the hassle!

I want to share good experience here! I got new car - Toyota Yaris. Also, staff there offered me full insurance, directly from them, as well they helped me to cancel broker insurance - that's huge point for service! I will definitely rent from them again, only directly. Tip for others - just call them to make a reservation or e-mail - it's much faster and flexible
The car is well balanced and safe manoeuvre to have the drive smooth. I couldn't locate the collection point because there were not many signs within the terminal. The signage at airport need some improvement. Friendly staff and quick to dispatch with paperwork's. Little disappointed there was nobody to take to the car to verify pre-damages. I hope that was part the customer responsibility before leaving. I took plenty of photographs to keep if ever questions on anything. The whole experience was very good and happy with the support.
Do not use them! All positive reviews are formulaic and obviously fake. They are a fraudulent scam. I was told on March 14 that I would get a refund on my rental that I had cancelled well in advance. Now they're sending me threatening legal jargon about "force majeure" and sections of their terms and conditions that they reserve the right to cancel without offering a refund, but ending the message by saying that they are not refusing a refund and a plea to save the tourism industry. I really don't expect to see any money back from them.
Update: I received my refund without further communication from the company. It took 6 months, and I'm still disgusted that they tried to use the pandemic as an opportunity to intimidate me out of it. I will NEVER book with them again. STEER CLEAR! And to those still awaiting refunds, I hope you eventually get them!

We booked a rental car via ecomonybookings.com with pick up point at Basel Airport Switzerland but they gave us a booking at Mulhouse Airport France. After reaching the airport Alamo staff told they do not have Swiss vignette on the car and asked us to go to the Swiss side and get another car. Alamo staff cancelled the booking without charges. Since 1st April we have been trying to reach economybookings.com support via all means to either get a refund or alternate car booking but no response whatsoever.

I've been using economy bookings for a while now and I never got disappointed with the service. I would tough recommend to tune the app as I find it very difficult to use and keep my login and booking information there, I always end going to the website version.
I reserved a hire car online for our arrival in Portugal with Economybookings.com. The car hire was extremely reasonable, 50+ Euros, but was then advised to take out full insurance for another 50+ Euros (Still not too bad for 10 days hire). But on arrival I find out that that the car hire company you receive your car from is not Economy bookings, but a local car hire firm and they do not recognise the insurance you have taken online, I then had to pay another 180 Euros for full insurance. Tip from me, stick with the market leaders e.g. Europcar, Avis etc, they work out cheaper in the end.
Please don't use this company to book anything. It's fake. They are not responding to any support or claiming. I rented a car once and couldn't get car, lost 4-5 hours and lost my money. It's more than 40 days passed and still there is no any response from them.
I cancelled my reservation on Sept. 6th. I paid for cancellation Ins. It is now October 10th and still have not had my credit card of 883.00 returned to me.
If you read ALL their reviews they are a company who are third party and my problem is not new.

Too bad I can't put 0 stars on it! Having forgotten my husband's credit card, we wanted to use mine. It was refused because I wasn't the driver. But they didn't give us the money back.
If they don't want to rent us the car, that's fine, but at least reimburse us for the amount already paid. I consider this to be theft in the true sense of the word, since the company took the money without any consideration. To be avoided!

I have used a major company for years to get the best pricing for car rentals and hotels. Just recently when searching for a good price on a rental car, I discovered Economy Bookings. The price they quoted undercut all the other companies considerably. I was a little dubious, but went ahead with the rental. Needless to say, I have been using Economy Bookings ever since, and am recommending them to all of my associates.
We hired a Toyota Camry from Orlando in Miami. We called when our plane landed and within 10 minutes their pick up bus was there to get us. Paperwork process back at their depot was a breeze, and the helpful and friendly staff talked us through the best options for a toll pass.
Car was clean and ready to go... it also great, and with no mechanical hassles!
