The company is not in the US, so they stand behind nothing. If you cancel, then don't expect a refund. If you have questions, there is no one to help. The phone number for support takes you in circles and when you finally get someone on the phone, they will only book new reservations, meaning they can only take your money. And the phone number for their headquarters? That's been disconnected. And the rental company they use in the US to make your reservation can do NOTHING. Run, run AWAY!
They quote you a price in your currency with absolutely no mention that there will be other fees. The priced charged is in Euros, so your credit card will be charged more than quoted at reservation time. Then on car pick up, the car rental company (Fox in my case) will change you extra fees that they say the third-party price is not covering about 33% in my case plus a deposit on top of that. So before going out with the car, your credit card as been changed about 220% the quoted price. On return Fox is refunding the deposit on the credit card only 5 business days later.
Customer service did nod answer my emails
The customer service there is pretty top notch. The key is going there in person. I believe they treat you better at the store as opposed to over the phone. There was a problem with the original car I rented and they swiftly swapped it out without any fees or barely any time wasted.

The car was as you would expect for a new model. Really nice to drive. All the extras such as heated seats, cruise control automatic transmission drive and braking whilst in cruise control would have this car again. My only criticism was expensive for excess insurance when I had paid already for fully comp.

When I'm going to rent a car, I always go to this website, because I know that I will always find great deals there, as with major companies, as with local less-known companies. The car's condition depends on the supplier as well as how far the pick up location from the airport is. But that doesn't have much to do with the website, what matters with them is to give you a wide choice of cars and provide easy booking process and they deal with it very well.
I had never heard of EconomyBookings prior to my recent four week trip to Hawaii. I tried them and booked a 10 day rental for Maui, by far they had the best price. I was satisfied with the rental and booked my second week in Oahu, also the best price and also very satisfied. Yesterday I booked my final week on the Big Island And flew into Kona today, picking up the rental car. Again very satisfied. I would recommend this company to anyone and will use them again when I search for future rental cars

When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
