I rented a car through Economybookings.com. On returning the car, to the rental company, I discovered a small crack in the rear left light and although I opted for Full Cover with No Excess, the rental company asked me to pay for the damage, Euro 619.50 ( yes Euro 619.50 - which I found to be way too expensive for the light, but I still paid) and they asked me to claim the refund from Economybookings.com, as this was the procedure. So, I did and claimed for reimbursement with Economybookings.com. Although in the email I received when I submitted the claim stated that I receive a reply about my case in 5 to 25 days, 50 days have passed I in spite of sending them several emails, I am still waiting in hope they refund me. This is not a way to conduct a business. I will definitely look elsewhere and avoid Economybookings.com

This was a totally enjoyable experience for my first visit to Germany and also my first use of rental cars. The service went above and beyond what I had expected, due to my flight being 5 hours delayed, and I was made very welcomed throughout the handover. The staff were very friendly, helpful and sympathetic to our lateness picking up the car as well which helped settle us for the rest of our evening. I would highly recommend them due to the high standard of vehicle which we received and the assistance we also received to find our way around the local highways. It was an absolute pleasure to be so well looked after and the car, a Seat Leon, was the drive i had experienced in a very long time.
If I am able to give them 0 star I would. This company is a scam. We booked a car and paid $326 for the car rental. They said we full in price and would not have to pay additional when pick up. On the day of pick up, we were told to pay $400 extra stating that we only paid for deposit. We talked to the agent and everything and he said he could not help and that we have to contact economybookings.com. That is when I realized this company is so weird because there is no emergency phone number for you to contact. I had to contact them through email and they took more than 1 month to solve my case. And like I predict, they said no refund, claiming that we did not pick up the car.

CHARGED the full amount and when I got to the rental agency was asked to pay triple the price.
Economybooking hang up on me multiple times still waiting for my refund. There are not reliable and it's impossible to talk with them.
I needed to rent a car for just one-way and this service provided a good price and the type of car I wanted. When I looked at other websites there was simply nothing comparable especially since it was short notice. I have been extremely happy - have used twice and will continue to do so in the future!
I have rented at this location 4 or 5 times, Great cars, but even better is the staff. They get you in and out quick and easy. I find them competitive in pricing most of the time. But if they are a little higher I'll go with them anyway because of their customer service at this location.
I was thinking twice before to go to dollar car rental because of negative feedbacks that they previously have; but I did took the risk and booked with them... and all I can say is I am glad I did; staff are helpful and price was reasonable. Will surely book again next time I come to LA
I have rented a car in Orlando for 2 weeks in April with this company, which I find out after booking, is located in Europe. I was quoted in U.S. dollars and at no time was informed that there would be a Euro currency conversion fee charged to my credit card! I even talked to someone on the phone to confirm the price quoted in U.S. funds before paying. When I contacted the company requesting a refund of the Euro currency conversion fee, they flatly refused. I would think that, if nothing else, a "good will" gesture to a customer would be worth $6.60. For me, it was not so much the amount of the fee as it was about the misleading information or lack of information that took place during my booking.
I would cancel my reservation; however, I suspect that there would be yet another Euro conversion fee to have my money refunded to my credit card!
A Disappointed Canadian
I wish I had never used this website. I prepaid for a car and insurance prior to my arrival. When I arrived to pick up the car in Brazil the car wasn't available leaving my wife and one year old twins without transportation in a foreign country. Economy bookings kept my money and did not deliver any services whatsoever. They refused to provide a refund. I now understand why they only have a rating of 1.1 out of 5 with the better business bureau. Please head my warning and do not trust this website. They will only take your money and not deliver.

Beware, economybookings.com free cancellation is not truly free cancellation. Only they will provide as credit in their website. If you want money back in your credit card then it will be with additional $65 as Resource Subscription Fee for processing the refund. Contacted Customer care support, they said, you read and agreed while booking the car on the terms and conditions. Very greedy, putting back on customer as customer's fault not reading the terms and conditions.

I reserved a car with this company and then called Budget to confirm the reservation. They told me they would charge me the full amount plus $100.00 for the reservation even though I had prepaid Economy Bookings. I immediately cancelled with Economy Bookings who said I would get a refund minus their fee within two weeks. After eight months, and a claim with my credit card company, I finally received a refund minus about $40.00 for their fee. Their customer service is terrible and they definitely don't deliver as promised.

On Sunday, September 8,2024, I arrived at Orlando International Airport and caught the shuttle to the rent a car site. The site is an out of the way rental office and I didn't see any cars on the lot to rent.
When I arrived to pick up my reserved rental car, I had all the required documentation. The representative stated that he could not rent me the car because he could not accept my renewed Virginia driver's license paperwork, along with my pictured driver's license.
He refused to rent me a car or refund me my deposit. I contacted Economy Booking and the company states they have the right not to refund the deposit or rent the car for a "No Show" if the documentation doesn't meet their requirement.
I requested an explanation for why the company would not accept my driver's license and they refuse to give me an answer or my refund. I had to file a disputed charge with my credit card company to receive my deposit.
Also, beware that the company charges you $10 dollars a day if you use your own insurance and there are a host of other charges, they will hit you with when you arrive at the rent a car site. In my opinion, this is not a credible rent a car company and I will never book another reservation with them.
I gave it one star because I had to give it a star rating in order to have it posted. The company doesn't deserve any stars.

When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
