We made a booking with this company and found we had to pay a deposit when collecting the car. So in advance we cancelled the booking because you have to use a credit card and i dont have one. Its been one month and 20 days and we are still waiting for a refund. It even cost us 35 sterling to make the phone call from uk to Ireland because it counts as europe. After many emails and calls. Still no refund...
The attendant, Kimberly, at the gate for Dollar Rental who checks out your vehicle is awesome. She would NOT let me rent a chosen car because she heard a noise of the serpentine belt and asked me to rent another car. She also wrote a note about the problem and placed it inside the front windshield so no one else would rent it. How great that the person working for Dollar Rental cares about the safety of a customer. BRAVO and thanks Kimberly! Rental at Tampa International Airport. Also it took 2 minutes to do the paperwork and less than 1 minute down in the garage choosing a vehicle. Great for Economy Bookings to give me Dollar Rental! 5 stars!

We were very impressed by the attitude and customer service of the staff behind the desk. We witnessed one customer turn up who was very short on time for his flight and the courtesy bus had not long left. Without hesitation one of the young male employees took the keys and told them he would give them a lift to the airport himself so they could make their flight. Customer service above and beyond.
I waited over 5 months with no communication from Economy Bookings. I emailed them asking where my refund was that was promised only to be told that there would be no refund but only a certificate for future use (which was not attached and we have not received). This is criminal and an example of poor management when they feel entitled to money in which they have absolutely no cost to their company. We gave sufficient notice of the cancellation per their guidelines and chose the full refund which was promised.
We had to cancel a paid in full car rental reservation due to COVID in March 2019. At that time after several attempts to contact the company we were given the option of a future use certificate immediately or a refund within 90 business days. We waited over 5 months with no word. When we reached out again, we were told they would not give a refund and that our only choice was the future use certificate which was not attached to the email. This company not only lied to us in March, but kept our money for which no services were rendered and did not communicate at all. Using the excuse of COVID to keep our money (over $400) when they did not have any cost for our rental reservation is criminal.

My wife had to make a business trip but her car was under repair, so she paid a $50 deposit and was to pay another $154 on picking up the car. She was first told that another $200 had to be paid because we have the state-mandated liability insurance rather than first-dollar collision damage coverage. She was then told that she could not rent the car in any case because they do not accept bank credit cards but only major credit cards with a minimum balance. The business trip had to be cancelled and we are told that the deposit cannot be refunded because failure to complete the rental for any reason is a "No Show". We will certainly never have any further dealings with these people, and strongly advise others to avoid them also.
I made a mistake in my booking and needed to redo it but in order to do that I needed to cancel my previous booking. This realization took place minutes after I made the reservation. I went to cancel my reservation and saw that my order was non-refundable. It's my fualt sure but this seems altogether unethical. They're going to keep my 241 dollars because I made a mistake about which airport I would pick up the car at. This is a trash company. If you enjoy your rental great, but do not expect customer service or leniency.

EconomyBookings gave us access to a car rental provider at the Chiang Mai airport that wasn't on any other site. We got a great car for a great price, and they had an option for us to pay the staff to stay late so we could rent the car when our flight arrived very late at night. Everything worked out perfectly.

When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
