The insurance offer is a good option for those who enjoy that comfort compared with accepting the high insurance surcharges when at the rental counters. But if you don't take insurance you must remain prepared to stand your ground when they give you 100 reasons to opt for the overpriced local insurance. In summary if you want insurance take up the offer. If you don't make sure you credit card has sufficient limit to cover the excess (refunded at end as long as your car has no additional damage at end of rental). The thing not to do is to not take out insurance and then get convinced to take it out there - worst value option
Quick; BUT this third party site did charge $200 hold from the same company that would only hold 15% of rental if using visa credit card on file and also with your meme we number. I'd chosen to go with them any how because their daily rate was superb cause of my emergency. I'll return soon

Good service. Poor quality car. Local insurance surcharges a rip off. Why not sell cars with minimal insurance because what you pay for you pay twice with local surcharges. In the end I could've walked in off the street to local supplier and got better deal
I was thinking twice before to go to dollar car rental because of negative feedbacks that they previously have; but I did took the risk and booked with them... and all I can say is I am glad I did; staff are helpful and price was reasonable. Will surely book again next time I come to LA

Everything went well until I returned the car. The man who took the car back was not friendly and didn't communicate at all with me. He wrote down there was a scratch on the passengers door. He never mentioned or showed me the scatch. I was waiting for my plane and looked at the receipt and noticed he put down a scratch. I called the number on the receipt when I took the car. The lady was ready nice but after over twenty five minutes she stayed I would have to call back tomorrow. Dollar's representative should communicate if they see something wrong on a return car. I have asked for a picture of the scratch. I plan on going back to Florida within the next few weeks
