Got an upgrade which resulted in me getting the best car I've ever had on hire and this was much appreciated as it was a 2 week holiday.

The worst company I have ever rented a car, on the picture show much bigger car, then in Tampa they charge us extra for shuttle from airport to rental location $ 44,00 also they added some more charges in the and we have paid much more for rental from FOX then my son who rented the car from ALAMO -picked up from airport, got bigger car and no hidden fee, do not rent from FOX

Arrived at the car rental on time. The car rental company refused to accept my credit-debit card so my girlfriend which was with me offered her credit card. Since the booking was on my name, the car rental (NÜ Car Rental) refused to take her card as well saying that they also aren't able to change the name on the booking. After a few phone calls with Economy Bookings they refused to change the name of the booking on their side as well, saying they wouldn't be able to make changes on the booking after the pick-up time. (But we arrived on time to pick up the car?!?!) The lady on the phone eventually hung up the phone 2 times in the middle of the conversation. The voicemail then offered us to write an email to the support team which would get back to us in 3-7 days (or so).
After almost 3 hours we gave up and had to go and book a car with an other car rental company.

These good reviews are all probably from fake accounts of EconomyBookings! Their free cancelation is a scam! After I canceled my booking 2 weeks before the reserved time, my money (around CAD 260) went into a "credit" account on their portal, and when I tried withdrawing it, they told me I had to pay a 60 euro "Resource Subscription Fee". Then I proceeded with the withdrawal, but nothing happened! No confirmation email/msg and MY MONEY HAS NEVER GOT BACK TO MY ORIGINAL CREDIT CARD! Stay away from this scammer! My Booking ID is B*******.

Quick receipt and registration. The class of the car met expectations. The return is very quick. The car is almost new. Cool cars, great staff, convenient service - all I can say!

The sole purpose of this company is to rip off unsuspecting customers looking for affordable rental offers. The whole concept is to scam you into a seemingly affordable car rental, however once you arrive at your destination and try to get the car that you booked using EconomyBookings, the car rental service in charge denies any connection to this scamming site and offers a horrendously overpriced car with an insane insurance cost. Last summer we booked a VW Golf with full insurance coverage for a few days in Barcelona using EconomyBookings, however, having arrived in Barcelona the rental service GOLDCAR (which is probably also a part of the scam) denied the fact that we've made and fully payed our reservation. As you can imagine, we refused to pay the insane amount that GOLDCAR was now offering and had to get around the city by foot. Vacation destroyed thanks to this scamming criminal site. After the vacation I spent several hours calling EconomyBookings, all in all 10 calls over the course of 5 months. Every single time nothing but promises, never seen my money returned until this day. Huge disappointment. As I said, a total scam, people making money at the cost of other people's nerves and vacations. Avoid at all costs. Hope you go bankrupt soon and the criminals in charge get sent to jail for long!
