For over 50 years, Ecklers has been the leading trusted source for quality restoration parts and accessories for Chevrolet and Ford trucks and automobiles.
The company demonstrates a mixed reputation, with customers appreciating the quality and variety of products available, particularly for classic car parts. Positive feedback often highlights the prompt shipping and helpful customer service when issues arise. However, significant concerns include delays in order fulfillment, confusion during the purchasing process, and challenges with returns, particularly for damaged items. Customers also noted difficulties navigating the website and a lack of physical catalogs. Overall, while there are commendable aspects of product quality and customer support, operational inconsistencies and service-related frustrations are prevalent themes in the feedback.

I ordered a $700 gas tank for a 70-72 Camaro on March 31,2023. While installing it today (7/12/23), I noticed it does not fit. Upon looking at the package, there is one BIG sticker on there that states the item in which I purchased (1970-1973 Camaro Sniper Coated Steel EFI Gas Tank) There is also a smaller sticker (75-77 Camaro & 75-78 Firebird EFI Fuel Tank Kit). I was sent the wrong one. I talked with customer service who stated that the return policy is 30 days. Upon further viewing of the website, it states, "Eckler's standard return policy is 30 days from delivery. We do recognize that restoration projects take time though and that purchases aren't always used immediately, and so in some cases extended returns may be available for store credit." All I asked was for an exchanging of the CORRECT fuel tank. As with restoration projects, it takes months to years to complete. They failed to honor what I purchased in the first place.
Kept sending the wrong part. After a month of back and forth phone calls they tell me the website isn't updated and they don't have the visor I paid for. When I call they said ya we have 9 of them in stock. So screwing me around over a month and won't refund me my money till I send the wrong one back for the second time. So take $800 of my money and make me wait even longer to get my money back to shop else where. I'll never buy from them again.
I wanted 16 valve guides but you only had 13. I've been waiting for more to come in for mounths. So I will get stuck with shipping expense twice
Hello first I made a mistake for the delivery address it's been 2 emails that I send with the new address and no one answers me...
So yes I made a mistake but no body answers me and I have no idea where to go with my order maybe you will be able to help me? First 1400.00?
Parts are easy to find and check out is easy. The part was the right size and fit perfectly.
I ordered a headlight switch for a 1997 corvette. The description said for a 2005-2013 corvette, but the fitment page said 1997-2013. I called and spoke with Josh. He said that according to the webpage, it should be correct. I said i was comfortable ordering it, but wanted to confirm that it was returnable. A lot of times, electrical parts are not returnable. Josh assured me that it was.
When the part arrived, it was unfortunately incorrect. I contacted Ecklers and requested a return. They asked for the reason, we discussed that, and they issued me an RGA label, freight prepaid back to them.
They apologized for the inconvenience and asked if there was anything else they could do.
Ecklers does Customer Service the way it should be done!
PS, they have already corrected the website. And it no longer lists this a fitting a 1997. Good job preventing future issues.
I am restoring a 1971 Corvette. Over the past 10 months I have purchased many parts that I know the car will need. In November of 2022 I purchased a complete vacuum hose kit, wiper actuator, wiper relay and many small parts knowing that 'Covid caused supply chain issues' may play a future problem (which is the reason I was told that I didn't receive all of my parts ordered with the actuator). This past week the person restoring my car assembled the vacuum and wiper system (including a new motor). We have now found out the acutator is defective. When I called Eckler's support they said "sorry about your luck but you have no warranty on the item" and they "may have done something in the first 90 days." I am now out well over $150.00 and a defective Chinese manufactured American made represented wiper actuator. Over my many years and 11 Corvettes that I have had, I spent a lot of $$$ with Eckler's. They will never get another dime from me!
I will recommend Eckler's to all my car buddy's and give them a scoop on the hard-to-find parts you carry and in stock. I will also mention your prompt shipping. I believe this is my second visit to your site and I'm quite pleased with your service.
Very good selection of products. But average service and communication. Two little parts with a value of 16 US$ were missing in a shipment received. I sent two emails and explained. Never received an answer or any other reaction. I ordered and paid the parts a 2nd time. No big deal at this low value, but still I would expect an answer.
I love the fact that you have parts to fit my Fords/Mercurys, but need more body panels. You used to have door skins for the Galaxies, but I don't see them anymore. I have used you for many parts in the past and would like to keep getting items from here since they are of really good quality.
I never got my u-joint. I ordered a yoke and a u-joint. Yoke showed up but no u-joint. They should of been package together. Hope it shows up soon
Placed an order on June 2.2 pieces. One received ok. The other I called and was told coming from California. Should have by 12rh. Called again on 13 was told should ship within next 48 hours from Alabama. Noone is on the same page. Disappointed
