For over 50 years, Ecklers has been the leading trusted source for quality restoration parts and accessories for Chevrolet and Ford trucks and automobiles.
The company demonstrates a mixed reputation, with customers appreciating the quality and variety of products available, particularly for classic car parts. Positive feedback often highlights the prompt shipping and helpful customer service when issues arise. However, significant concerns include delays in order fulfillment, confusion during the purchasing process, and challenges with returns, particularly for damaged items. Customers also noted difficulties navigating the website and a lack of physical catalogs. Overall, while there are commendable aspects of product quality and customer support, operational inconsistencies and service-related frustrations are prevalent themes in the feedback.

I was having brake issues with my Vette. I ordered valve to correct brake issue and installed. Bled brakes multiple times and brakes working the same didn't correct issue. However the a new problem arose the brake light won't go out with new valve. Put old valve in and brake light goes out. However we are still chasing brake issue so I didn't call or send back due could be another issue, but the old one doen't cause light. E-mailed company and they said it only has 30 day warranty. Horrible warranty, poor customer service when it is evident part is failed.
Part search very difficult to locate part desired. Searched using several descriptions and finally had to use a part number from a alternate source to get the 1957 chevy heater control unit to pop up.
First order I received the envelope was empty. I emailed and have got no response. I did reorder the item and hope to actually receive it this time
To start this review off, I have NEVER had a bad experience with Eckler's. They are one of the few shops that have the parts I need for the vehicles I work on in my shop. I had one issue that was due to a manufacturing defect and they took care of it, out of plenty of other flawless orders. The only reason I am posting a three star review is because of the issues below. I was searching for replacement armrest pads on Google, found a link for one side on a sponsored ad. Added to cart. No problem. Try and search for the opposite side under the search bar with my vehicle in the filter, and no results. That is with using "armrest" in the website search just as the one I found on Google was listed and titled on the site, other details were obviously included on the title listing. Nothing appears under "armrest"... After an hour or so of searching, I find one myself. Even after asking for "Live Chat" assistance, where I was told they couldn't find any. Please update your site. Just like every other aftermarket/classic car site needs an update... These issues with searches cause a lot of loss on potential business and headache on the consumer end. I am all for the catalogs and the old school way of doing things, but if you are going to have a site, why not try and make it easier to navigate if the issue is brought to attention? Just like other sites, random parts that don't actually fit your vehicle filter show up under search, or maybe nothing at all.
Twice now over the last two years I've ordered Eckler's seatcovers; the first time they unexpectedly and without notice cancelled my order. Their excuse was a merger. This time they've kept my $900 for four months and now tell me my order is "out of stock" and I could expect the revive my order in November. Total of seven months this order has been placed. Refund, please! These guys used to be very dependable but since some giant corporation took over I no longer trust them. Very, VERY poor management.
Mac antique auto part was the best.
Thanks to eckler's many parts are not there to order
please turn that copany back to mac 's owners
Simple and fast and good quality. Packed well and fast shipping. I will buy from you again, keep up the good work. Thanks. Mike
Received a gift certificate 3 years ago. Tried ordering parts, never in stock or not made any more, yet still in catalog. Tried to get certificate time extended or refunded, a joke. The people in general were very nice till I got to a supposed manager. Just another slick willie. Will never deal with Eckler again and pass the word to all my car buddies.
I havn't recieved an e-mail with any thing on shipping tracking number when shipped, all I know is you took my money
Their website is mostly a page of ad for the site. It is difficult to see the products your are looking for. There are banners covering the top half and large banner on the bottom. A few products are shown on the middle of the site. If you want to browse it is very difficult. Seems like its good for one item at a time. It is much easier to use other sites than this one
Can't y give a review without having the item yet? Still waiting on a shipment date?
My order was divided into 2 orders instead of 1, which is not a problem, but it would have been nice to have been given a notice that a second shipment would take place with a tracking number as well. Instead I had to make a call to find out about the missing parts in the fist shipment. I will say that Desiree with customer support was very supportive and help in providing the info on the second shipment via email with tracking number.
I ordered from yal bc in stock and delivery time worked for me. Called and given a new delivery date and was told that could change as well. Not becoming a fan. Rather been told truth. Third party controls this and Ecklers are useless in my judgement.
My high mileage 2004 needs a lot of TLC these days. It has 120K miles and needs a lot of cosmetic repairs and replacements. Eckler's always has what I need quickly and at a reasonable price.
Fast delivery. As the quality of the product was exactly what I was looking for.
I've had an issue with this company last fall but they had a part I needed so I gave then another shot. Big mistake!
I have been waiting almost 2 months for this part that they never mentioned was not in stock. I finally called twice and found out that it's backordered and they canceled it on me! 2 months lost now on a car hogging up 2 bays of my shop as it awaits paint.
