Tried to order a book that they seemingly had in stock, only to call them and learn that they didn't have it in stock to begin with. I asked to cancel the order and get a refund. They cancelled the order, but my Paypal account doesn't show the amount I paid has been refunded. ECampus says it takes 3-5 business days to show up, however Paypal says it should have showed up right away. Paypal suggested filing a dispute, but when I told them about other people who've had similar problems with eCampus, they immediately elevated it to a claim. Now I have to possibly wait till November 26th to see my refund. Also customer service didn't seem to know how Paypal works, since an agent said they'll deny the claim because they said they issued the refund and thought that would be it. Even though I told them that a Paypal agent assured me that they didn't issue a refund in the first place, hence why the claim was started. I guess my next call will be to the Better Business Bureau since it seems like they're scamming me and others out of money.
Its now been 8 weeks since they had my book and ive been told numerous times id get a call back fro a supervisor, it never happened. They still lie as to where my book is. They claim the publisher has the book and when i call them they say they never received it. The publisher even call ecampus to find out what happened and ecampus says they sent it to the wrong address. So now their really lying as to where my book is and this is all over 5 bucks. Stay away from this scam company there are better ones out there.
I got informed that I got in the program on Friday really late and had orientation at my law school on Monday. Panic mode activated!
Law School bookstore closed for the weekend so I ordered 3 books from eCampus with Next-day Shipping on a Friday. Cost of books +$60 dollars for the shipping.

RUN FROM THIS COMPANY! They are complete frauds! I sent in 3 APA publication books that was bought from my university's bookstore. I attend a school with over 50k students, so I do not question if they sale authentic books. I sent them to Ecampus and they said that the publisher questioned the authenticity and per their guidelines and policy the publisher would be destroying them and I get nothing, not even my property back! Bottom line they stole my books that were brand new for pure profit! I will not give up on reviews or writing them over my property, this is completely wrong!
Purchased books from a year prior, sent them back on the rental plan. They said they would not refund any of the money because they did not get them back in time and charged $400 on my credit card that was used in my prior purchase. I don't use the card ever because the interest rate. Had to notify my credit card company that I did not authorize this transaction. After the credit card investigation, they removed the charge, but I still paid interest for that amount for 3 months. Beware that if you make a purchase from them to cancel your credit card after the purchase or they will freely use the card in the future!
Their customer service people promise that a book will be available soon and when you order it in advance, they tell you that the book might not be available for a few days. The delivery is never on time, and you waste your time tracking your shipment every day.
Don't order here. I place an order for a school book at the end of July, they billed me the same day. Then I got an "unexpected order delay" email. Almost 3 weeks later, still no book, school starts in 2 days. I canceled, and now I get to pay rush shipping from someone else. Terrible service. Wonder how long the refund will take? Save yourself, and just order somewhere else at the beginning.
I placed my order on Monday, June 10th and was aware of the special processing or 1 to 2 weeks. Three weeks (only counting business days), I had to reach out myself to learn that there was a delay. No notice prior to that. It is going on another week (only counting business days) where I was told I would receive 2 day shipping. No, I don't want a refund, I just want what I purchased.
This was my first and LAST time I will every use this site. In the past I have always used Amazon and Barnes and Noble but for this book there were no rentals available. I returned the book last week and just received an email that the book was damaged. I called and they said there was water damage and the spine was broken which is a lie. When I placed the book in the box it was in the same condition I received it in. They now want to charge me 50% more to replace it. Be aware this site is a scam - I will NEVER use them again and I will make sure I post and tell everyone the same thing. I have never had any issues at Amazon or Barnes and Noble.
This company is a scam. They say they have books even when they have no idea whether they can get the book or not. I ordered a book well in advance of a class with RUSH shipping, and then got an email a couple days before class started saying their supplier didn't have it and they didn't know when they could get it. By that time it was too late to order from anywhere else online and get it in time for my class. If these weren't textbooks they were selling it wouldn't be such a big deal, but students need to know they will get the book they ordered in time for their class.
If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. I sold a book to them in December and received an email in January stating that the book was "under review". I sent them an email stating that I want my book back, and they said I would have to pay them shipping to receive my book.
Now, 4 months later, they are saying that they never received my book, my email confirmations were in error and there is nothing they can do.
I recommend reading the reviews before conducting business with this company. I am not the first person to complain that they lie and steal from their customers.
If you want to buy or sell a book, go somewhere else. It's very likely they will just steal from you.
I sent ecampus 200 dollars worth of books and I STILL haven't received payment. This is absolutely ridiculous, it's been over 5 weeks and they've had my books for over a month, it makes no sense how they still haven't processed. Will never use this service again.
This is such a crappy, over priced and inefficient service. My course started on January 14th so I ordered the textbook that same day... it's a rental for over $40 for the semester ( rip off)... it has taken 2 weeks to come! I'm still waiting for the book! One week to put it in a. Box and one week to deliver it... horrible. I have had to spend 2 and half hours to go to a University library and come back to do my homework... thanks ecampus
I have never been disapointed with my purchases from ecampus my book always arrive on schedule or ahead of schedule. Ive never been disappointed in the books that I have received, their quality or anything I have never had an issue. I will definately be shopping ecampus for future school books as well.
I definitely had a wonderful experience with eCampus. Their customer service was great. The books I received were as described and arrived on time in the condition they were described. Other stores charged double if not more for the same books. I just want a fair deal on books, and I dont care if they are new or used, hardcover or not. I only wish I had known about this bookstore years ago.

Wish I could give them negative stars. They cancelled my husbands order 3 times but sent him a confirmation email on each order. Finally I had to order the book with a different credit card. There was nothing about the user agreement when I purchased. The semester finished, I forgot about the book. They were sending emails to the address I no longer use and then told me I'd be charged for the full price. I sent the book back immediately after I realized. Called multiple times to ask about my return, no answer, ever. Emailed them, got back to me days later saying I could only qualify for 50% back if it was received and processed in their system by 15 days past due. It was too late by the time I sent it. They took the book back, no emails saying they received it and no return. Looked online just curious how much they would've bough it back for. 5$. FIVE DOLLARS for a book they charged me 260$ for without notifying me. Currently disputing with my bank. Worst customer service I've ever heard of. Scam company.

Purchased book on December 21st (order #*******) they stated they had in stock - NINE DAYS LATER, yes, NINE DAYS LATER they email me saying they don't have the item and cancel the order. If that wasn't bad enough, they then tell me it will be another TEN DAYS (7 business days) for me to get my refund. They are unprofessional and I will never do business with them or bookbinder.com again - how can they be trusted?

I chose direct deposit to ensure fast delivery of the payment. They instead have decided to mail me a check, which I still have not received. Do not sell your used textbooks to ecampus.com if you actually want to receive reimbursement for them.
