Don't pay full price for textbooks. Save money on cheap textbooks and textbook rentals at eCampus.com. Get fast, free shipping on orders over $35.
The company has garnered a generally positive reputation, with customers frequently praising the affordability, quality, and timely delivery of their textbooks. Many users appreciate the ease of use of the platform and the availability of digital content, which enhances their overall experience. However, concerns regarding shipping delays and issues with receiving incorrect items have been noted, leading to some frustration among customers. While the rental process is typically smooth, the inconsistency in delivery times and occasional miscommunication about order fulfillment suggest areas for improvement in customer service and logistics.

DO NOT USE eCAMPUS! This company is very sneaky with how they advertise on their website. I purchased a book that advertised in the title that it would include an access code, where I can access my assignments and homework. Later, I discovered after receiving my book via UPS with NO access code, that they put in SMALL print that access codes may or may not come with books that are rented.
Then when I tried to return the book to get my hard-earned money back, eCampus stated they will not be refunding my full amount back due to their "restocking fee." NEVER WILL I USE eCAMPUS AGAIN and neither should you. This company claims on their website they are here to help students get college books for a cheaper price. Well fellow students, this company is not helping us out! They are banking on you not seeing the small print so they can pocket some of your money. I am disappointed that I made this mistake but hopefully from this review, you will not make the same mistake as I did. Now more than ever, it is important to stop giving money to companies that don't care about their customers but only care about making money, by any means possible.
TO eCAMPUS:
I WILL be contacting student affairs at Georgia State University, one of the largest universities in Georgia, to have your company blacklisted due to fraudulent and predatory tactics directed at consumers, namely, students of the University System of Georgia.
This is a horrible company, I'm not sure how they're operating. It took 3 months and constant daily calls and e-mails to receive a PayPal payment for two hardcover textbooks I sold to them. If I hadn't called every day I never would have gotten my payment. Every time it was a new excuse, and every week it was "I see that it was just added to the accounting books, we will be issuing payment asap. Please allow 2 to 3 business days". Over two months of this.
Don't use eCampus. I'm going to be filing a complaint with the BBB as well.
I sold two books to them and two books to another company, the other company paid me within two weeks., ecampus took over 8 weeks and only paid me for one saying the second wasn't authentic, though it very much was.
I would not recommend buying from ecampus. This was my first order experience, I redeemed a 5 coupon from a text offer on there site and finally got the book I wanted. Several days later I find out my order was cancelled due to the item not being in stock and I check the site and the book is higher as well. Do you have the book or not? This was a waste of my time and I don't like that shipping is expensive. Order from betterworldbooks, at least they have free shipping on any order unlike ecampus.
I would say ECAMPUS is not a reliable company at all. The first time I placed an order for rental, and they charge me right away. Before placing an order, I asked the customer care executive about the availability of a specific book, and they said they have enough books in stock. However, I received this email right after placing an order. The email states that "Due to a change in availability from our supplier, the following items have yet to arrive in our warehouse" I was like ok I guess I will wait, but next thing I know they cancel due to billing information. So, I called the customer care executive and asked them why did they even charge me if my billing information is not the same. How come the bank let you authorize the payment from my card. Next thing I know, I have to place another order. Worse part yet to come, they raise the rental price with $6 within 24 hours, and the customer care executive said I have to place another order with a new price, which is ridiculous. Furthermore, when I placed another with a new higher price, again, I receive this email that my order is delayed. What going on? Are you even a genuine company? Or it is a SCAM
ECAMPUS CURRENTLY HOLDING MY $112 AND THERE IS NO BOOK COMING. I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND. IF I DO NOT RECEIVE MY MONEY ON TIME, I WILL Definitely REPORT THIS COMPANY TO BUSINESS BUREAU.
This was the first time I have used eCampus.com. The website was easy to use and order. Books were delivered on time and in great condition.
I just wanted to take a minute and thank you, Ecampus, on your adquisition of such a fine staff worker, Ms Laikynand truly congratulate you for choosing the very best of the best to work for your customer service line. Ms Laikyn answered all of my questions with much patience and absolute efficiency.
Once again, I wanted to thank you for hiring such competent and professional staff on your team.
( I would even go as far as to suggest a monetary raise for this one workernot just because I believe it to be very much deserved on her part, but also because it could serve as a great motivation to the rest of the staff workers that make up your team.)
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this review, it is very much appreciated!
Cordially,
Samantha Walters

She was so helpful and provided a very positive solution for me! I wanted to pull up the e-book since my book rental was only good only until July 31st, my class ends August 10th. Since the e-book was no longer available Laiklyn extended my rental until August 14th. I have a lot of school work to complete so that's one less thing I have to address. I'm very grateful for Laikyn's solution. She's a rock star!
I bought a copy of A SMUGGLER'S BIBLE for $19 or so. After a week, eCampus canceled my order and said the book was out of stock. A day or two later I searched for the book to find another copy and there was a copy on eCampus--now for $36. Today, that same book is $49. So it seems they cancelled my order, lied to me, and relisted the book at about double the price--now even higher.
I paid full price for a new textbook but they shipped a used textbook to me. Bait and switch tactics.
I rented a book from here my fall semester for $50, I turned the book in 4days late because I never had to go to ups because of work. They charged me $275 the total value of the book and said once it was return they would give me a 50% refund. Which is ridiculous, to charge me a $137 late fee for a book I no longer have. I will never rent a book from them again.
I thought that the staff when the extra mile to assist me during this difficult and uncertain time in our world. Thanks.

Still haven't received my materials after paying extra for expedited shipping. The tracking information was not helpful when I did receive updates at all. After leaving a question/comment on the site I never heard back regarding this issue. At this point I'd rather get a refund. Clearly no one in charge of this company knows what it's like to need a college textbook as soon as possible when you're already financially struggling as a student.
I ordered this book for a summer class. I was told it would take 4 to 8 business days to receive. The book shipped on June 3 and I have yet to receive it. The tracking number shows that it is sitting somewhere in Georgia with no expected delivery date. It is now too late to be of any use for my class. I have used eCampus in the past and was pleased with the service. I will not use them again, will return the book if it ever arrives, and want a full refund. My problem is the same as "Very Disappointed" also written on June 16,2020.
Used the site for the first time to order a textbook for my son taking a dual enrollment summer course. Paid extra for expedited shipping. They shipped the book in mail class "bound printed matter" which is one of the slowest methods. Ordered on the 3rd, supposedly shipped on the 4th (label was created) and as of this writing (the 16th) still not received and USPS shows it's been sitting because it's not a high priority and recommends only calling after 14 days for this level of priority. When you pay for expedited shipping and the company ships it slowest means possible, it's frustrating. Won't purchase from them again.
Only good thing about my order was the price I paid for the book. The book came two weeks after I already started my class and I ordered it to arrive within 3-5 business days. Shipping was cheap so that's good.
I received the book on time and it came in in good condition. Price is fair. Placing order on the website was a breeze.
I didn't have high hopes for the quality of the books I needed because the price was so low. I was very happy with the product and the speed of delivery. I will be back!
I bought 21 books for end of school year. 3 were not in condition to give to a student. But otherwise good experience.
Ann was wonderful to work with -- she really helped my institution in its work to pivot to remote learning.
Answer: You can write or highlight in book as long as it less than 1/3 of the page/book.
Answer: Unfortunately, the ebook version of this bundle does not include the access code. Access codes are one-time use only, and are only provided with New versions.
Answer: Ecampus.com does not honor their payout times. I've been waiting 8 weeks now and still have not received payment. They also do not honor the method of payment you choose. I chose direct deposit to ensure fast delivery of the payment. They instead have decided to mail me a check, which I still have not received. Do not sell your used textbooks to ecampus.com if you actually want to receive reimbursement for them.
