Bought some parts, correct descriptions, etc. Shipped the wrong items and refused to cover my loss due to their incompetence. For a small items is ok, but I lost almost $70 due to this and not for my fault. And they still dare to ask me to refund them some of the money. Good thing I escalated it to paypal and was awarded the $, my only regret is not asking more from paypal.
When they ask you to cancel your paypal dispute, don't! They will try to scam you out of your hard earned money.
I've made several (4 or 5) orders on dx.com and all of them came on time (2-3 weeks). I was able to track the package. They had a bug with my user account (couldn't see the 'My Account' section), I sent a message to support, they contacted me 2 days after to tell me that the problem was fixed and asked me to check if it works so that they could close the ticket. I was really surprised. I've already recommended the site to my friends and a couple of them already successfully bought some things from them.
I purchased from them once a long time ago and their shipping was very very fast. I received my items in like 2 weeks.
Recently i decided to purchase something from them and it has been 1 month since then, my items still have not arrived. -.-
Their customer service is also horrible; i once asked a question and didnt get a reply until a week after.
I started a chat session to ask for a refund of the express delivery I paid for, but the company failed to deliver. My items were not shipped within 24 hours and only one of them with express delivery. The agent told me "no refund" and just left the conversation.
Just ordered an item on the Australian Web after beng directed from world site and assumed order was in Australian dollars as price had Risen $6. Ok difference in exchange rate was to be expected so went ahead with order via PayPal to find order was still in US dollars. Certainly feel ripped off, as the original site price included free delivery.

They probably did to get more publicity but its a big shame that this company does it again and again without being criticised or banned.
Item bought -Freelander PD80HD; order cancelled. You can still buy on dx for double the price so there is no shortage of stock. Its a big scam

Ordered a mobile worth around 930US$ on 24th june 2017 but still haven't received it after 2 months even though i have ordered through expedited delivery by paying extra amount of money.
Everytime when i complaint to their customer center they only ask to just wait for few more days from last two months.
Their staff member are not cooperative at all and not helping me in any way.
Now i am struck as i have already paid to them.

Prices were good, but are now increasing. Less and less interesting.
And shipment is appalling. I have ordered (and of course paid) for goods ordered beginning of May. Three months later, they have not arrived.
Early July, I was told the following:
"... Your package has failed to pass the airline security check under extra scrutiny in world air cargo services.
We will try to switch it to another delivery channel to ensure the order is sent to you as soon as possible... "
Today, 25 July, I am now told:
"After checking we find the package was returned to us, now we can refund or resend it to you, please advise".
In other words, DealExtreme appears incapable of delivering ordered goods. But in the meantime DX are being paid (before refunding the monies). Could this be the Ponzi scheme of a company that is going through financial problems (e.g. Paying their debts with money from customers who will never see their orders delivered)?
Ordered 5 hygrometers from these folks - website I ordered from inferred that this was an onshore company - these folks are based in HK.
Shipping took forever.
Products were defective - return process is ridiculous - you can't contact them via email or phone but have to go online to open a "ticket" through their site. You then get an RMA but are required to photograph the package, shipping receipt etc.
Still have yet to get my refund, just contacted them again today. Nearly two months since original order.
Steer clear.
I have ordered only 2 items to try in May 2018. Today (17th of July) I still didn't received on of them... So I send a mail and they say that the package was return to them because of a problem with the address (Which is the exact same address than the other item that arrived without any problem).
Not only they never told me that they received the package back (After more than 2 months!) but now I have to pay a shipment if I want the item, or I can be refound, but they will reduce the shipment cost (Which was supposed to be free originally).
This is the last time that I order from them. Very bad service and support...

I'll agree that this site has a lot of cool an interesting things, especially if you are interested in arduino. It just would be equally cool if I ever received what I ordered. 2-1/2 months and still nothing. Orders from ebay are just as cheap, same free shipping, but take 1/4 of the time (even when coming from China). F this site and their bs shipping (worse than hoppyking and that is saying something). (1) star selection (-1) star for shipping... too bad I can't rate it a 0.
I have ordered on dealextreme before, have good exprience. But this time. I try to place an order on dealextreme.com, before checkout I encountered some issue. I try to contact customer service via live chat, there is no one help me, alway show: Please wait for a site operator to respond.

I ordered an Antique bathroom tap/mixer YDL-F-0543 on 3/10/2017. I have had many conversations with the company telling me that it should be sorted out within one to two weeks. It is now the 3/1/2018 and i still do not have my tap or a refund. This is beyond a joke and very bad service. I will certainly NOT recommend this company to anyone. It would be very embarrassing. If this matter is not sorted out soon i am going to a complaints department
Sell counterfeit items without making clear that is what they are doing. Offer no support if the items are seized by customs as a result. Moderate their forums so that if you point out that an item is a counterfeit the post gets deleted.
I ordered a bike light (59.99 + shipping) from DX.com, they claim the order would be received within 14 days. After 3 weeks I contacted them and they said it shipped 3 weeks ago, so just give it more time. I contacted them again after 4 weeks and 5 weeks, each time they said just wait a little longer. It has now been six week, they will not cancel or refund the order, they just keep telling me to wait. The tracking numbers they give me are not recognized, so each time I asked for a tracking number because the last did not work and they give me a new one that does not work. Never again.
I'm in Europe, so getting my orders average anywhere from 2-4 weeks. When ordering small items, I'd recommend it as long as you're not spending more than $10. The items arrive in your mailbox, and if something is missing or broken, they'll typically just send you a new one to replace it with no questions asked.
However the minute you purchase something worth $10 or more, and something is wrong with the item, you're out of luck.
I also found out that the reviews are inflated. I tried leaving an honest two star review of a product I purchased from them (not a cheap product either) which went into detail describing the pros and cons (with pictures) and they wouldn't allow it.
They told me to open a ticket, which I did, and they just gave me the run around. So basically all the negative reviews aren't allowed leaving only the positive reviews inflating the perceived value / quality of the product.
I've ordered my last item from DealExtreme as of writing this. Never again.
I think molasses at the North Pole moves quicker than this company. I ordered a screen cover for a cell phone, tried contacting customer service with no response and ultimately filed a dispute with PayPal. After filing the PayPal dispute and indicating that I no longer wanted the product due to the lack of response from the company's customer service and failure to deliver the product, I received the screen cover. I will never purchase from this company again and will advise my friends to do the same. I always wonder how a company like this is able to stay in business.
I did two orders on this site. The result completely satisfied. Orders are shipped quickly enough and in full. Often on this site it is possible to find what not to find in other shops. Assortment small, but interesting. Here it is possible to choose interesting goods as a gift.
Website sucks. They take an eon to finally get your product to you, and the tracking system is stupid. For instance my tracking number was for Singapore post, yet it always directs you to the Hong Kong website.
