DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY... I ordered a phone in July 2019. Its October 2019 and no phone or refund. Reached out to DX who admitted it to being lost / never delivered and to wait and wait and wait. Promised to give a refund; never got that either. Constant emails still going back and fourth. I firmly believe my 200$ phone or refund is never going to arrive. I took a gamble and lost! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM DX EVER AGAIN. Ordered same item from Banggood dot com/. DX is a scam. Learn from me. Don't be a fool.
Here is the last response from DX on Oct 17: "Hi, just like we said, could you please close the dispute firstly, so that we can handle the refund. Currently the system doesn't have an option for refund."

POOR SERVICE

DX is a joke. They don't care about customers needs. All they are interested in is your money. Live Chat is NEVER online and Ticket Service is NOT responding to your messages. Goods are shipped in broken boxes and NOT properly packed.

My last order was even despatched to the wrong destination and now they don't want to contact the post office to redirect the package nor want to issue me a FULL refund.

LIVE CHAT is also very rude.

Poor service
September 30, 2015

Received my tablet from dealextream it did not come with a charger and i thought that was poor service... every other company that sells cube i10 gives a charger. Now i have to buy one... i actually paid more at dealextream... it will stop me from buying from them again... the cube i10 after a few months has failed... win 10 will not load... dealextream were contacted but not interested. There is no fix for this problem the cube i10 website is a joke... no software to upload to fix problem. My advice do not buy this product... there is no support if software goes wrong

My self and several associates based in New Zealand have been dealing with this site for some time. I have placed 20 plus orders with them ranging from novelties to photographic equipment.
I find the site to be honest and very responsive to any issues that develope. The only order I have had not fufilled properly was corrected with the exchange of several emails, no hassles no ship back and wait all good.

In ealing with any Chineese based agreagating seller like DX you must first be an educated consumer and second you have to realize and adapt to dealing with a company operated by a culture that works different to us european people.

Educated consumer means do your research make sure you understand the product before buying

Hit and Miss

I've had some great experiences with DX and also some absolute shockers over the years. My overall assessment is that they are usually OK for inexpensive products that you aren't in a rush to receive. I wouldn't order anything over $100 though, and would prefer to support a different site.

Pros:

-Huge range
-Really cheap
-Once dispatched, shipping CAN be quick sometimes (< 1 week)
-I've scored some absolute steals from this site.

Cons:

-Product quality varies from average to woeful. Gadgets are generally knock-offs and clothing is very small and the dyes sometimes wash out quickly.
-Don't trust their MVP (24hr dispatch) status. I've ordered items that are supposedly MVP, only to still be waiting for dispatch a week later and the products since listed as "out of stock".
-Some packages aren't tracked and I have had some not arrive at all.

I have ordered quite a few things mainly LED lamps from DX and usually had proper service. I had a problem towards the end of last year when some of their lamps went faulty and I had quite a rigmarole to have them replaced. I had the same problem and tried to report it in Jan this year2016 and my complaint just went stagnant. I tried to talk to their stupid chat online which takes an age to connect with skivvie who then just signed off saying they were rushing my problem and to check my email the following day, nothing and the day after, nothing, I've seen nothing to want to interact with this part time company with a pretentious customer services again.

I did make a $15 order in deal extreme. However, I never received as I wait for one and a half month. So, I report to them, and they tell me my order was return to them deal to the custom refuse my order to import. Since, I was ordering the phone strip and a coin purse. And I used to order on eBay and other merchants, as I don't see any problem to receive. So, I ask for refund and they refuse to do so. As they said this is not their fault. And I ask them to resend, of course, they refuse again. And they said they can only give me a gift if I order next time. I am really doubt about this website. I only ordered a small amount, so be consider if u are planning to buy alot.

Not a good website

They sell a lot of cheap items, but most do not even work, especially the under $20 small 'gadgets'. Even simple items like keychain flashlights arrive DOA (dead on arrival - do not work straight out of the box). Their support takes forever to answer you back, and when they finally do they will offer you a 30% discount on a future order. Yes, you heard that correct! Receive a broken flashlight that you purchased for 10 dollars, and their response is to offer you a 3 dollar credit on a future order. Total ripoff! Do yourself a favor and avoid this site.

I bought their product that was on sale after the deal was approved and theyreceived the money, they decided that the deal is not good for them, (probably too cheap or something) and decided that they would not provide me the product. Despite repeated requests for the product they refused with a difrent excuse everytime. Not recommend buying anything from them. They are not reliable.

I placed one order for 3 2MP IP cameras with audio in and out. SKU: ******* on the DX.com site.
What I received were 3 different shipments all containing a 1.3MP camera without audio connections.
To get the cameras in my home I paid 3 x $99,99 + 2 x 0,21 x $99,99 (import taxes for two boxes) + 2 x 13,- (handling fee for two boxes) amounting to $377,85.

The cameras are not as described and I want a fair refund of my money or send the camreas back and get full reimbursement. What DX offers is a refund of 3 x $99,99 plus shipping costs and that's it.
To make matters worse, now they are selling the cameras for $72,-. The description is still wrong.

So if you like to order and wait a long time for wrong items to arrive, please do buy at DX.com.

I bought a Flashlight ("Uniquefire S10 Cree R2-WC 6-Mode 220-Lumen Memory LED Flashlight - Black (1*AA/1********)")... they say on their web site that this had 6 modes, but in reality only had 5 modes... they also say that this flashlight can use a ******* battery in reality however you can only use 1 AA battery because the ******* type won't allow the encasement to properly close, and is always giving problems for not being properly closed (like changing modes). I don't know if this haves 220 lumens but with the ******* battery it really send a lot of light. Also the article doesn't seem very good in quality... but for the price 12,27 I wasn't also expecting the best product in the world.
It took about a month to arrive my house in Portugal (European Union).

So their shipment is a little slow, also their description of the products can't be fully trusted, the articles (at least the one I received) are not of high quality, the only good thing is the price.

Ordered a Umidigi F1 play phone 15 days ago, The phone sat at processing order for several days. Then I sent messages asking about the shipment, no answer for a few days, then finally got a direct message from DX website stating the phone was shipping soon. Couple more days and I decided to call my Credit card company and see about cancelling, but DX cancelled already and my card company said refund pending, but my order was still shipped 15 days total as of today... I received the phone with DHL Express. Phone is perfect working condition (Brand New) AND FREE!

Dx is not the best place to be buying your stuff. For the items they sell I highly recommend ebay at least you get a guarantee through their feedback system and paypal.

SHOCKING SERVICE
August 1, 2015

This company has nothing but shocking service. I placed about 8 orders within a period of 4 weeks, only 3 of the orders were ever send. The rest DX.COM sent me invalid tracking numbers. I complained to their customer service and they make up all sorts of excuses. They try not give your money back even though they did not send you anything. Luckily I paid using paypal so I go my money back but be very careful as they are dishonest and try and trick you our of your hard earned cash. I WOULD NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN and if you do IT IS AT YOUR OWN RISK!

"Worst customer service ever. Before i placed my order i reached out to DX to ask them if my product would arrive on time for my holiday as i needed it to take with me. Given their long processing times and shipment times i thought i would be safe to ask. They assured me it would be ready by that date. After 6 business days i checked in to see if my order had been shipped yet and i was told it would be in a few days. When i expressed my concern and asked them to put a rush on it they dismissed my concern. So i said that given they guaranteed me the product would arrive on time when i ordered it and now they weren't giving me an answer with an arrival ETA if the product didnt come on time i would dispute the charge on my credit card. So they cancelled my order and disconnected the chat. They are dodgy at best. I wouldnt recommend them at all "

Phishing
May 4, 2015

I ordered a UV flashlight and submitted my address and credit card number.
A few days later DX sent an email asking for a copy of my credit card as well as my drivers license.
I will never send a credit card number through unsecured email, but I did send my drivers license copy.
I have never had to send ID for an online order, so this made me suspectful of their company
They already had my credit card number, so why would they ask for a copy unless they are phishing.
Nevertheless, they canceled my order within hours.
I can only guess that all these negative reviews are absolutely true!
