Ordered some flashlights and batteries with expedited shipping. After 10 days I was told (when i opened a ticket) that packages didnt pass the security check because of batteries and were on their way back to DX. DX promised to reship them using regular post (no refund for change of shipping method promised) once they returned to DX.
Guess when they reshipped my items? 5 days? NO. 10 days? NO. Maybe 20 days? NOOOO! Attention please - it took DX.com 49 days to reship after their own mistake.
But you willl never believe me when i'll tell you that DX.com reshipped via expedited post AGAIN, which doesnt allow batteries (new order #**************). 15 days have passed and DX still "waits for items to return".
Summary of DX.com services and customer support - avoid at all costs.
I had no problems with this site. What I like in it is that you may order just one little thing for 1-2 dollars and they will deliver it to you! Also I am attracted by the option of free shipping!
I ordered some lighters from this site for really cheap. Seemed like a wonderful deal. Little did I know that I would be waiting over a month and still not seeing any product. The shipment tracker for this site is atrocious and switches dates back and forth often. Not to mention the horrid customer service. While in an online chat for this site the rep continued sending me a link to another website shipment tracker (which should atone for how awful their own website' sis seeing as how they don't even use it) while I was trying to explain my worries and troubles. She then tried telling me that the shipment had "already reached my place" which I assured her it had not. In the midst of me trying to explain to her that I was told it could take 2-4 weeks for shipping, which I was not thrilled about but okay with seeing as how the price was so low, and had been waiting for over a month she left the chat after telling me I should check with my local post office first. Not that it really needs saying at this point but I am very unhappy with the entire experience and will not be shopping here again. Nor will I recommend this site to even my worst enemies.
Be aware:
- They are CHEAP
- If they list a "Name Brand" product, it's probably a bad imitation (try to avoid these)
- QA can be rubbish on some products
- It's REALLY important to read the comments for the products to see how others have fared with the products
- Delivery times can be appalling
But... if you are patient, and are prepared to do plenty of reading, you can find some really great products at super low prices. I've placed many orders for many products, and I've saved a fortune compared with what it would cost me to buy the same items locally.
When I buy something that ends up not working it's usually easier to just buy another one -- I've STILL saved a fortune.
I actually quite like the slow delivery times too. It feels like Christmas when their packages arrive!
Never received what I ordered wish I would have checked here first. Finally filed a claim with PayPal and they refunded my money. Ordered from other site and had it in two days.
I have a similar story to most other people on here but with a twist! I am complaining about DXListing which is part of Deal Extreme where they sell products for other sellers rather like Amazon Marketplace. You still deal, or try to, with Deal Extreme and receive the same dreadful non-service. I have had the usual "please be patient and wait" messages but when you are told that the original estimate of 7 - 21 days delivery should actually have read "2 - 6 weeks" you start to lose patience. Not only that but the 2 - 6 weeks are Chinese weeks as they do not include weekends and public holidays so, how long is a week? Is it 5 days or is it 7?
DX stopped responding to my messages when I asked for a refund so I have just filed a dispute with PayPal as it is 42 days since the original order was placed. We'll see what happens but, my advice is; DON'T BUY FROM DEAL EXTREME!
Update: I got my refund so, at least the PayPal refund system worked.
I am very dissatisfied with deal extreme. I would advise anyone else to NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE. I HAVE BEEN WAITING OVER A MONTH FOR FIVE PRODUCTS. FROM WHICH ONLY ONE WAS RECEIVED! DISGRUNTLED, WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN... EVER!

Their drivers are under so much pressure to finish their delivery rounds that, if it seems that it will take them more than a minute to find the address they have to deliver to, they just write a delivery attempt card and leave.
They don't care if you had to take days off work or that you are expecting time-sensitive documents from the Home Office.
When you talk to the manager supervisor, they lie to cover their mistakes.
This is a company with extremely low quality of service. If you can, AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE! If you can't (unfortunately their services are one of the cheapest, reason why they had their contract with the Home Office renewed), make sure you contact them via Facebook or their chat system so you can hold proof of what they say to you.
I've just received my 'new' smartphone. But I'm far from being happy because it's a used phone. How do I know? Have you ever bought a new smartphone with preinstalled applications from Banco Posta or Mediolanum Banca? Have you ever had access to the Gmail account and SMS messages of the person living near or Gallipoli (Italy) in your smartphone sent from a factory? And I also have got access to WhatsApp and OneDrive accounts of the person. The lucky person can say 'thank you' to the shop and can be sure that I won't use the data I've received.
I ordered 3 items in December. It is now April, and I have not even received them yet. The customer service is weaker than than the weakest. They will NOT email me back. They have cheap prices, but DON'T BUY FROM THEM!
It is hard to believe that a company will actually search you out to straighten out problems with orders. It is really amazing, nowadays, that a company will take the time to follow up on claim tickets to make sure everything was straightened out and went well. And when I found out that I was the one that dropped the ball, they asked me if I would give them another chance to fix anything that went wrong. Customer service like that, reminds me of how businesses use to be run here in the USA. It is nice to see companies who actually care about their customers, and remember who pays their bills. I have not had any big problems with deal extreme. The problems I have had were primarily shipping problems, and this is primarily out of their hands. They are very thoughtful about customer service dealings, like when they run out of an item they actually contact you to see if you want to wait until the item comes back in stock, or change the order, or just drop it off your order. It is nice when a company actually steps up and does what is right and what they should do.
Well, the title says it all... after almost 40 days after payment, I am still waiting, but since the package went to the wrong country... It really "Doesn't get any worse than this. Stay away!"
I just stumbled across the website and I bought cases for my iPhone 5. They were all shipped immediately and my packages got here in 10 days from China. I'll be buying from then again.

The website is advertising a delivery time in 7-9 business days anyware in Europe, i have waited for 14 business days, and nothing. I have contacted them and i was told that it is gonna take a additional 2 weeks, so much for the 7-9 business days anyware in Europe...
I have contacted the "Service center" on this matter, and when i was told i need to wait an extra 2 weeks i asked for a refund coz i don't want to wait so long for my order. They gave me an email and Kick me out of the Chat.
I have contacted the email i was given to get a refund, that first email gave me another email address where i should get a refund, then that email gave me a third email well i would appranty 100% get my refund, now this third email address told me that they cannot help since "the Manager is out of Town."

I live in India. They claimed free shipping to my country but the item never turned up. However they were kind enough to refund the money after about 2 months.
It is third time that I'm booking to get the parcel and they don't show at all or cancelling the bookings.

Ordered 50 units of Jet 1300-C Butane Lighter from this site (great deals for this lighter), they even offer a cheaper price for me. It takes 20 days to arrive and I'm happy with everything.
They had good deals but if something goes wrong don't expect them to make it good They shipped my order for 4 AA batteries twice never got here but confirmed delivery the 2nd time BS slow run around and a website that can drive you nuts
THE WORST! I've waiting for long two months and purchase was never received. They $#*!ed me around begging me to wait for two, four, six more days. They barefaced lied on my face saying they are still tracking an untrackable order as it was allegedly mailed by simple Chinese courier. I am supposed to be patient and take all the actions while they give me no positive answer. I have finally decided to quit my claim and express my opinion in different consumer's opinion websites.
