At fisrst glance it seems like I may start choosing and downloading the images I decided but then after clicking the "dowload" button It was mandatory to make the first payment.
I wish payments were higher than the 42 cents for most of them. I requested this payment before but I must not have done everything right. In general everything works nicely.
I don't want to pay in Costa Rican currency, but can't figure out how to change it. AND every time I pay, you switch me to autopay, which I hate.

You say you're free and there are free photos, but then if I want to use any photos, I have to buy a package - then there is no option to by a few photos, I have to buy a subscription ugh

Good photos, but advertised as free stock photos until you try to download one
It's been a few years since I used Dreamstime, so my login password was ancient. I quickly asked for and received a new password login and am now enjoying free access for one month (or two weeks?).
My experience has been good. However, the prices for the images have increased greatly.
We are a church and always need beautiful images for backgrounds to use during the service, as well as images that reflect the ethnic diversity of our congregation. You also have love Christian images to choose from.
I have been using the Dreamstime site for years and am always amazed at how many creative and beneficial images I am able to use for my various projects.
From photos, to illustrations, to videos... you need digital resources? Dreamstime has them!
I am succesfully using this service for many years now (subscription based) and I find it very useful.
However the payment method can be improved namely add a "pay now" button that we could use when the withdrawal attempt from the card was not succesful (especially when payment is attempted before the displayed date and there may be no money available).
A "pay now" button would save both of us time from contacting support / waiting for answer etc. I wrote this suggestion in the mails too, but it was not considered.
Besides, a "pay now" button could even help people paying in advance,should they want to, whenever money is available, or in case at the due date they are on holidays and can't take care of payments.

Dreamstime seems to be the fastest microstock platform in reviewing the work of its contributors. In fact, for AI generated work, contributors don't have to wait long.
The free trial is a scam, it immediately gets you to click one button and before you know it they have charged your card. Do not enter your details.
After buying the free trial, the images WERE STILL WATERMARKED, AND NOT EVEN TRANSPARENT WHEN THEY SAID SO. After trying to refund, there were 2 options: have the subscription cancelled and be blocked from refunding or turn the subscription back on AND STILL BE BLOCKED FROM REFUNDING. THE PRICE IS HORRENDOUS, AND ITS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. ANY OTHER SITE IS BETTER THAN THIS SCAM.
The images are good, the home page is a bit busy and I did struggle to even understand how the plans worked but when I figured it out it was good.
