This is a horrible site. Do not even sign in for the so-called "free 5 days". They charge you immediately. The website is a nightmare to navigate. I tried to delete the one picture I downloaded so I could cancel my account. It was impossible. I tried the 800 number and the call failed several times. I never got through. If I could I would give it ZERO stars!
They say free trial but what it means is free trial with their watermark. Then it says upgrade your free trial to higher amount but it never says your trial ends. Scammiest company in the world. Will never buy from them again.
I forgot about this website for a while and noticed I was getting charged monthly so that was on me. I tried canceling my subscription but it asks for a password for you to cancel it?... Makes no sense seeing as how other professional companies don't lock you behind your password if you already signed in.
Anyway, I put my password in and it said that it was an incorrect password. Weird again seeing as how I logged in with no problem. It's an obvious scam to make sure that you forget about the problem and don't do anything about it. If this garbage corporate company writes a response to my review, I don't care about your policy.
I should easily be able to cancel my subscription service with the click of a button and not be scammed into lazily forgetting to cancel because your company avidly falsifies that an individual put in the incorrect password when they can properly log in with that password with no problem. I shouldn't have to call and be put on wait for hours because of something so simple.
You deserve the review and credit block at this point. Can easily go to another stock website and find higher quality images and quit the service when I choose.
I like the images, but in order to download more than 10 "free" images in a day, you must purchase a subscription for unlimited images for $4.99/month. I do not understand how those images are then "free". The other subscription options are very expensive. I have opted for the $4.99 plan and am satisfied so far.
I use vectors on cards and in my journalling. I signed up for the free trial. Put in my card and looked around. I downloaded three "free" vector images. Now i cannot cancel because nothing else interests me. When i try it says that i need put in my password and I do and it tells me it is not correct. Yet it is the one i signed in with so I am unsure how it is incorrect.
Since that did not work, I asked for a password reset. It did not allow me to get a password reset. It basically said that I should look in my spam folder, I did and everywhere else in my email but all i am getting is offers and no way to reset my email to cancel the subscription. This is making me feel particularly litigious, BECAUSE IT IS ILLEGAL. Also, I am from TN, and since i know the laws there i will be contacting my family lawyer.
(If there were negative stars, i would put it on there.)
I am not a customer or a subscriber of Dreamstime, but they have always had what I am looking for (but can't afford). However, I find their free images of the week soothing and potentially useful.
Lures you in with an image that claims to be a 'free download'. Click on the button, Forced to sign up, Get immediately redirected to payment and credit payment screens. No option whatsoever to download the image.
You get nothing, They get your email.
I would never purchase and use an image of a place that was not identified. How embarrassing it would be to use an image and have people say, "That's lovely! Where is that?" and you would have to respond, "I have no idea."
I bought photos from them, and now I can't redownload them, why? Why do they obligate the people to pay again to redownload what they bought? They use this cheap method to get more money.
They have stolen my card details and billed me after i signed up for a free trial and cancelled it on the same day! There is no way to email them, only by phone which i would have to pay for, and the contact us section does not work! You couldnt make it up. I literally tried 5 times to submit a contact us request, and there is simply no option to go through with sending it - have attached an image. I've also been trying to tally remove my account and I can't find any option to do so - feel sick knowing they have my details.
Great quality pictures with multi thousands of choices. This from one that is a has been photographer that is old and disabled oh to be 30 years younger with these quality pictures! The possibilities ARE ENDLESS
Makes you sign up, requires CC info for free week and "15 downloads" All still watermarked! SCAMSCAM
The website promised a free trial that would enable me to download the photo I wanted, but then amidst that process forced me to actually pay$37 to access the media. Confusing, intentionally misleading, and frustrating system. Would not recommend!

Our site provides access to a free trial plan for premium images that allows you to download free high-res comp images and after you upgrade your plan the images will have their watermark removed.
This is a trial plan and comp images are the norm in the stock photography industry for test purposes.
We also provide a free section, https://www.dreamstime.com/free-photos where you can download a certain number of images for free or upgrade for unlimited downloads (over 1 million) at a very low monthly price.
Since our website caters the largest community in the world we simply cannot provide all content for free, because we have to pay the bandwidth costs and, most importantly, the photographers who create and upload the content.
Thank you for your patronage, please email us if you need extra information about the above or about our discounts.
I wanted a quick vector image I could use for a custom birthday gift, not a commercial purpose. Found this via Google search and checked it out. Found an image I like which had "Free Download" below it. When I click, it takes me to an account creation page; OK, fair enough. After entering my credentials it then takes me to a payment page to buy credits to use on images. So what exactly was "Free Download" referring to? Seems like they have nice images but I find that practice extremely scummy.

First, the free week is not a free week where you can download some images. They are all watermarked. This is not clear. Secondly, I tried to cancel the free subscription in the 'free week' time - like the same day set up the account, and it kept saying my password was incorrect when it was correct. I reset it twice and the second time it worked. I don't trust this company and certainly wouldn't use them again.

I signed up for a 1 week trial. They took may credit card info and the page refreshed but then I had no trial. I tried to download the video and it took me back to the same 1 week trial/payments options page. I clicked on the 1 week trial again and it took me to the same page asking me for my credit card info. Then I noticed a fine print that says after 1 week I'll be charged ¥3409 JPY per month and that I can cancel anytime. But there is no payment management page. No way to cancel anything. It just keeps taking you to the payment plans page.

When you try to download an image, for some reason, the download doesn't always go through on the first try, so you have to attempt to download the same image again. The problem is that even though the download didn't go through on the first try, their system still deducts the download from your account! So if it takes you 3 tries for the download to finally go through, they deduct 3 images from your account! I called twice about this issue but was told that their system doesn't lie and that I received all my downloads. I felt like they were accusing me lying. All I want is for the exact number of images that I paid for! I will NEVER use this company again!

They offer 15 free photos on try for you to. Make an account. You need to enter your creditcard details and give your personal information.
They don't give you any photo in return you can download them only with the watermark on top of it. They could offer that for free. Stupid
