Absolutely disgusting service. My parcel was supposed to be next day delivery which was confirmed by e-mail. On the day of delivery it says that parcel has been delayed. When I tried to call (took me 1 h to connect with someone and losing huge part of my mental health) first call, guy pretended that he cannot hear me and he hung up, i called again and SHERIN picked up. Oh my god, "Sherin" you are literally the most annoying and unhelpful person in this universe. Well Sherin told me that my parcel is delayed because "they have too many parcels" like it suppose to be my problem? Why do you accept next day delivery when you cannot provide this service? Why my parcel was less important than the others? Can someone explain it to me? Sherin keep interrupted my talking, and finally hang up the call without any reason at all. I have offered that I am willing to collect my parcel from depot, and I was refused to do so. DPD service is literally the worst service I have ever seen. It is also impossible to make a complaint. Absolutely disgusting. If someone ever wishes to pursue mass lawsuit, please do count me in.

Worst company ever

I waited all day because say few min later. Driver been my area but he didn't bring my parcel, I lost my time. Dpd app is layer driver outside city but say 1 min way...

Not good careless driver they dropped my box damaged not good enough with fragile box! No good they should take care of every box for all customers this is your job so try to take care of box with care is expensive machines inside!

Waited in for a parcel only to receive a message saying delivery was attempted when it clearly wasn't. They made no attempt to ring the right buzzer for my flat and sent a photo of a door which was apparently proof they had tried to deliver and the picture of the door wasn't even my front door! Complained to the company just to be fobbed off with excuses. This company cares nothing for its customers. I have used them twice and had problems both times. Avoid at all costs!

Crap Delivery driver

I'm disgusted in Mohammed my supposed dpd driver to he left my package at a different address only 100yrds from me marked it as delivered he went and retrieved it but didn't bring it to me god noise why what a t*ss*r cheers dpd I'm sure not all your drivers are crap

Terrible

The delivery driver from the bradford depot "Kevin" has never once succesfully delivered to our address and constantly goes to the wrong one, fails delivery and it only arrived when another driver is on shift.

Despite complaing multiple times over the phone nothing changes, nobody cares, emails complaints dont even get a response and I get massivly delayed delivery times

DPD SHOW NO DUTY OF CARE

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I used DPD to return x2 toilets worth £279, with a £28 delivery fee - delivery number: DPD*******. When booking the delivery, I labelled the items as TOILET PANS. They were packaged in their original packaging (unopened from Victorian plumbing), with fragile tape. The boxes displayed multiple large pictures of toilets on each box, with big writing 'METRO PAN' along with the toilet's dimensions, so the contents of the boxes were very clear. The receiver sent me pictures of the state of both of the boxes, dirty, ripped & crushed externally, and inside, the toilets were smashed to smithereens. I raised a claim & was told via an automated message that there is nothing they can do as they were prohibited items. However, at no point in the buying process was I directed to prohibited items. Why accept the contract if they are prohibited?! ZERO care was taken with the parcels. Trying to get hold of DPD is nigh impossible - chat fails, automated phone number takes you to the depot and round in circles, then get through to B2B which isn't the right dept, whatsapp doesn't handle these queries, customer service is useless & won't put you through to claims, no emails work... So I've lost hundreds of pounds. Will NEVER use DPD again. JOKE of a company. AVOID.

So I get a message to say my parcel is being delivered between 11.05 and 12.05 today and as I desperately needed it I made sure I stood outside my delivery address. At 11.29 I get a message to say sorry we missed you and a picture of someone's street but not mine? So your driver was in pendyris st and delivery address Tudor Lane? And trying to contact DPD is almost impossible constant opps something went wrong so spent I'll all day on telephone. Not at all happy with your service as this is certainly not the first time.

Absolutely shocking!

Absolutely shocking! Will never use DPD again.

I arranged for a collection for next day delivery on 25th September. Collection fine. It then disappeared and arrived back on my doorstep 4 days later. I was in but it was just left. No notification as to why it had been returned or where it had been for 4 days.

Went online for chat as number given on Google didn't work.

They didn't know why it had been returned. It was clearly labelled and also had recipient name and contact number on box in case of problem. This is going from SE London to NW London so should not be complicated.

They apologised. Arranged a new label and collection date. Collected fine and then it went missing again.

It arrived at my neighbours house on 7th October. Again I was at home. No notification as to why it had been returned for a second time not notification that it had been left at my neighbours nor where it had been for days.

Went back online / again they don't know what the problem is as address is clear. Measurements and weight is correct.

Such a shame as it was a fair price quoted but I will never use this company again.

We have been tracking my parcel. We have roadworks in front of our house and we are presuming that may be the reason that they failed to deliver our package. You should have some way of being able to send a message re your delivery but you don't, either by phone, e mail or text. When we put our parcel number in the chat box, it says it was invalid, so we cant contact you by the online chat either. We had a DPD delivery a few weeks ago and they sent it back to the sender. Not acceptable. If you want to run a business, run it well. I gave you 1 star, for telling me they couldn't deliver it. Now you dont seem to be able for me to post this review because we cant verify our purchase. We havnt received it thats why

Absolute nightmare. Had driver deliver to wrong house, threaten to take my parcel away when I was annoyed that he almost did it a second time. Then no acknowledgement of complaints from DPD, told 'complaints will be escalated', but never are. Today, 30,1,24 after 10y of always having morning deliveries I get a message saying my delivery will be in the evening. Call and explain this is not just inconvenient, but state that as I'm in severe disability group delivering even later is not an option. After appalling treatment so far, they just expect me to compromise for them, & keep having the delivery even later in the week instead of just calling driver and asking him to deliver slightly early. Chap this morning eventually states they will do that. I wait... NOTHING! Call again, told impossible, because an able bodied Man is apparently incapable of reaching forward and getting a parcel out of order, and obviously the world will end if they go off script. However, just to state that the chap this morning did state that calls are recorded, & they do not lie, yet he obviously did.

Spoke to a Manager, who insisted that I have to understand that it's not strange my time slot has suddenly changed after 10 years, they can't possible blah blah blah, but that it is perfectly ok that they inconvenience my life. When I again point out my previous complaints, she states no, 10am today. No, previous complaints started last year. She insists NO, 10am this Morning! No, original complaints last year, & this morning was 9.22AM. She hung up!

This company are beyond disgusting.

Was in all day for a delivery from Dpd for the driver to take a picture of my door and to then NOT RING MY BELL. So no delivery even though I was here waiting for it. All I got as others have said is sorry we missed you and we will be back on Tuesday as yes its the bank holiday.

Customer service rubbish. Wouldn't do anything as the picture was taken. Yeah at a distance mind you from the seat of his van. Delivery guy was Ranjeet from Southall depot. Customer service useless Do they not realise that the drivers are well aware they need some proof of attempting delivery. Haha. This deliberately done as I had spoken to Dpd in the morning and had my time changed so Ranjeet deliberately didn't deliver as a punishment. Joke joke joke.

Well Ranjeet your rubbish and don't ever come to my home again to deliver. Disgusting Service. Southall depo you need to speak with your driver Ranjeet as this is absolutely unacceptable.

Vodafone arranged for DPD to collect a phone from my address. I got a text message from DPD to say it would be collected from 9am-5pm on 9/3/23. It was not collected. I got another text the next day to say it would be collected from 9am-5pm on the 14/3/23. A DPD van turned up to deliver a parcel to my house but the driver refused to collect my phone as he said he had no notification to do so. I got another text to say the collection would be from 9-5 on the 15/3/23 but no one turned up. We spoke to Kevin in the local Portadown depot on 15/3/23 who said the driver would arrive from 4-5pm but again no one turned up. I have tried to send them an online message through their website but it says the message is unable to be delivered. This company has terrible customer service. How can they expect their customers to wait about at home all day for a driver who does not turn up. I'm disgusted. Beware of this company.

Avoid DPD

Avoid DPD they just dump your package wherever and then you have the task of speaking to the "s" customer service who just hand up when it gets to complicated. Try employing somebody that can actually speak English DPD if your going to trade in English countries

Parcel ordered for collection and delivery from eBay seller, driver "George" wouldn't collect - despite packaged properly and labelled correctly - didn't have sticky label! - so rebooked, collection on 2nd October, confirmed in DPD email, impossible to get in contact with DPD, their app freezes, you put in details they have sent, and it says "incorrect information", suffice to say, as with many cowboy companies, the second collection attempt didn't happen, no one came to collect, all that it says on site is that it will be delivered by today (3rd Oct) at the latest, whereas the seller (2 hours away) states the parcel is still waiting for collection
Avoid DPD at all costs, there are much more reliable delivery companies

They Lied yet again
July 27, 2021

Dpd lied yet again, they was meant to deliver a iPad today from a well known company. Waited all day until 2pm and status changed to they tried to deliver etc. They went yet again to wrong area but same road name. I called the company who called them and they said they spoke to driver who would try again, so wait for them. I explained the correct area etc. Came to around 4pm and do delivery so looked up local Chelmsford number and called. I was told they contacted driver and gave my number to call if needed directions and they said estimated time was 6pm. Got to 7pm and no delivery, so I called again and was told he had one more delivery to do and would be on way. Time is now 11pm and no delivery. I get this most times and am fed up with being lied to. The only service I like is Royal Mail as they know the area. This happens too many times now and have had enough. Be Warned. Do Not Use.

I have just received a text message to say I am not at home therefore parcel not delivered. I took off today and have been HOME THE WHOLE DAY waiting for my delivery. NO-ONE CONTACTED ME OR RANG THE BUZZER DOWNSTAIRS! It happens every time and ONLY WITH DPD!
They are too LAZY to park their vehicle and deliver in a block of flats, and then LIE saying client not at home.
Worst courier company ever!

DPD IS A JOKE!

These people are dishonest and full of lies. Their drivers skip some deliveries and tell lies at their website. The driver was supposed to deliver my parcel today. He was 4 stops away then suddenly i received their message saying "Sorry, we missed you. Your driver JAGJIT won't be back today but we'll be back Mon 10 July with your parcel"! Mr. JAGJIT did not even bother to call me! He did not come close to my house. He took a ramdomly photo of somewhere else while he was driving just to say no one was in when I was outside waiting for him. They make fool of us. We have CCTV. See att. Photos. This has become quite common by DPD drivers. He took it for grant because i did not mention a safe place or neighbour to leave my parcel. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DPD. IF YOU ARE A COMPANY DO NOT USE THESE DISHONEST PEOPLE AS YOUR COURIER. THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR RATINGS!

Following is my feedback to recent online supplier:-
"I suggest you steer customers away from DPD. The worst of them is not the failures which can happen to anyone, but THE COMPLETE BLOCKING OF ANY ABILITY FOR THE AFFECTED CUSTOMER TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THEM TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. I personally will not again purchase anything which is to be delivered by DPD."
This followed a three-day delay only resolved by the supplier paying extra to DPD to "upgrade" the delivery. I wasted a morning waiting in for delivery only to receive a totally dishonest message that delivery had been refused becasue "the item was no longer required"!
