Unprofessional & bad customer service
The worst delivery company out there in my opinion, If I the otion -5 stars I would choose it. I recently upgraded my contract and I ordered a new phone which was supposed to be delivered by Dpd, the first day the phone was not delivered due to a pin failure which was my mistake. I called the customer service and since then the situation went chaotic. They assured me that the pin will change but it never changed ( I have screenshots taken from the app as a proof), it stayed the same for 3 or 4 days. They delivered the phone again and witrhout the pin changing there was a failure again. I was calling the customer service explaining the that I am not there and if they can leave a instructions to the driver to deliver the parcel after a certain hour, their response was "it is not guaranted". The only option I had was to get the phone 5 days later, I refused because it was not my fault that they were not listening. At this point it was very simple, give instructions to the driver but nope! They are a huge company and they dont have that simple add on "instructions to the driver". In the end I lost the contract and the phone, and now I have to do evrything for the beginning and go to an actual store cause the Dpd is not good on delivering parcels. The customer service is just awefull either they were lying or they dont know how to do their job correctly, the application is bad as well. I will avoid Dpd from now on, I know that a complain like that will not change anything but I hope whoever reads this will understand how bad they are at delivering parcels

DPD, A COMPLETE AND UTTER S**TSHOW

I'm adding DPD to my list of incompetent organisations. My wife ordered a wash basin and cabinet from Amazon which was to be delivered by DPD on Tuesday the 24th of October, items we needed as we were in the process of 'modernising' our bathroom. The DPD driver Darrell came to our house during the afternoon of said Tuesday, knocked on our front door but couldn't get an answer. If Darrell had rang our doorbell my wife would have heard, she was at that point in our bathroom upstairs paintng so didn't hear him knock on ther door. We have a very loud doorbell that we can clearly hear from the upstairs of our house. I know that he didn't ring our doorbell because I checked my CCTV which clearly shows the bell push and for some reason Darrell the DPD driver didn't go near it. Darrell, the DPD driver left a calling card, I checked the DPD website and the parcel's were going to be delivered the following day, Wednesday the 25th of October. Wednesday came and by the afternoon no parcel's had arrived so I checked DPD's website again which said that Darrell, the DPD driver couldn't find our house despite the fact that the previous day Darrell did find our house because he put a calling card through our letter box! I'm now wondering if Darrell the DPD driver can even find his way home at night? Anyhow I rang DPD and spoke with someone named Suyod who promised to contact my local DPD depot and have Darrell redirected back to my house to deliver our parcel's on that same day. Well that didn't happen so I suspect Suyod lied to me. I aslo went on DPD's online chat thing and spoke to someone called Mohd Iliyas who only apologised and couldn't help in any other way saying that she wasn't able to contact my local DPD depot so DPD's online chat is a waste of time also. My conclusion is that DPD are yet another incompetent organisation run by incompetent people!

Nothing but hassle and still waiting for refund

Always been good in the past but seen a different side now things went wrong and just may as well talk to a wall than their customer service

I sent a Parcel and paid them £15.45 for next day delivery, I then followed the instructions to take it to the nearest post office and got a receipt from them to confirm it then 4 days later the receiver is asking where it is and the tracking numbers are not working so I phone DPD and was told it wasn't sent as the address, town and postcode wasn't valid when it was all fine and told to take it up with the post office as all the tracking numbers are not valid

I went to the post office and they said it was still there as DPD had refused to take it so no idea why when you was paid to take it but really poor service that it wouldn't of come back to me ever if I hadn't of gone looking for it myself and could of a lost a few hundred pounds just by following your drop off instruction

Anyway I take the parcel back from the post office and take it to the receiver myself as it was a birthday gift and was meant to have been delivered so didn't want to let them down like DPD did to me and then phoned DPD but totally useless customers service, they said all the different sets of numbers that DPD had sent me when I paid them are not valid and without a valid number they cannot help

I then say I just want a refund so they said it's got to be done on the live chat only so try that but needs a reference number to start it and shows mine are invalid so I phone them again and they give me the reference number on the phone to put in which I did and still invalid then they say they cannot assist further again?

Now looking for a way to talk to someone there and get a refund for the service I payed for and they didn't provide

Used DPD many times over the years and always been great but wouldn't again after this experience as I cannot even get an explanation from them about what went wrong
