Since Covid the dollar tree stores have looked like a hurricane ripped through. Not the store at 324 Capital Blvd., everything is in its place, and it is very well stocked. It is easy to find what you are looking for and the sales people are very helpful and friendly. I happened to be in that area and stopped by. Now that I know where it is, I will go out of my way to shop there!
I am amputee confined to wheelchair with brain damages make hard to talk good; she was Awesome in bagging everything in easy to handle bags and kind and mindfull of breakabbles. By time done shopping am pretty exhasted from pushing wheelchair one hand and cart with other hand. She was an Angel in understanding me and loading my personal cart.
There was an EXTREMELY long line waiting to pay with only 1 cashier. I asked the cashier, where was her help? Cashier said, there in the office.
I got cat food at the dollar tree. I was a little hesitant on buying pet food from there but our only stop was dollar tree, so I figured, why not? I gave some to my cat when I got home and she seemed to love it but a few minutes later she started puking it out all over the place. DEFINITELY don't get pet food my dollar tree. My mistake.
The Hamilton Mill Dollar Tree in Buford is by far one of the neatest that I've ever encountered. The only thing the store lacks is decorum from the disheveled manager Teri. She is very rude and nasty to customers and employees. From the looks of her appearance she should be angry at not putting herself together before dealing with the public. She always looks scruffy so maybe that's why she's always angry. I was so disgusted at how she shouted insults at a technician over the phone who was giving her instructions on how to fix the self check out machine. He was good because the way she spoke to him, he should've hung up the phone and let her figure it out herself. She had the nice Asian lady that works there almost in tears the way she shouted at her. Who does this woman answer to?
African American Employees in general ones I've encountered resent Asian Indian customers. This is unfortunate! So I have gotten poor service from them! Worst service MIDLOTHIAN, VA Carmia Way Dollar Tree from Black cashiers! Dollar Tree managers need to higher better employees who value customers!
I always have a good experience with dollar tree it's just when you see the item you have to get it because next time it's not there and please bring back the green licorice I haven't seen it in quite a while now,I'm glad though that we have this store it's handy and you can't bet the press newspaper for 1.00 especially sundays paper,employees try there best it seems like a coin shortage is an ongoing issue and it frustrates the workers a lot,and I wish they sell bags too buy to put your items in,NJ law on bags bring them back those plastic bags are handy I miss ''em used them for trash cans, laundry soap,etc. It doesn't make sense if you have plastic forks/or plastic cups,so aren't those going into our landfills,it's frustrating to most customers
Needed a candle, but only had $6.50. After trying CVS, went to dollar tree with low expectations. Turns out, I could've bought at least three candles with that amount. Three vs. Zero. Wow! Also was out of there in less than 5 minutes despite never being in a dollar tree before and not knowing my way around, all thanks to exceptional customer service. Very attentive and super nice too.
Visited at 12:15. Store was an absolute wreck but that's not out of the ordinary, this older lady named Dianna was checking us out. Definitely confused and struggling. She was stubborn and didn't want my help in counting for the total, which is fine, not my job. When Sue asked for help from the manager lady, she was absolutely rude, impatient, and spoke down to Dianna, saying "you can count change right Dianna do you need help with that too" in a very rude and demeaning tone. I was blown away this type of crap is happening in this day and age and definitely won't be back to this store anytime soon
The cashier, Destany, did not greet me, but proceeded to ring up my order. After me, a Caucasian was next, who Destany greet with a hearty greeting. When I informed the manager, she said, "I am supporting her(Destany) because she is the best cashier I have. She made this decision without even questioning. Destany. How do you make a decision without asking questions. SMH. I told the manager I would put it on-line and she said ok. That is why I am doing this review on-line.
Store#5389. This store is always crowded and messy. The staff here are incredulously rude and often off-putting in the way they handle customers. The manager walked away from her duties to go have a smoke, while the one cashier working was waiting to take a bathroom break. When she realized customers were speaking to that fact she jumps on the register and calls people over, I go over as I'm ready to check out only for this manager to tell me that people who were displaced from a line she closed should be able to get in front of me they had to get out of the other line. This manager made a complete mess out of the whole situation when if she had stayed on duty it would have never happened in the first place. To correct what she started the manager begins taking customers, when she gets to me I want to do an exchange and she tells me come back when the other manager is available in two days. I'm not angry just frustrated I waited in line like everyone else but because I called her on her unprofessionalism she chose to be petty and not serve me.
For the past few months I've been working on organizing my home and Pantry. I shopped multiple times a week for 3 months to make my home organized. On Sept 30/22 I purchase my last basked to finish my organizations. Two out of the six basket were broken. I went back to the store to exchange. Manager asked for a reciept. I told her I'm not sure where it went and I can go and get it. Then she proceeds to tell me, if you knew they were broken why did I buy them? No I didn't know they are broken, that is why I'm back and can go back home to get the reciept. Then she starts yelling you always do come and return things. I said I do not in 30 plus years of shopping I may have return one item. Then she threatens that she will exchange these items this time, but she won't do it again. Again I proceeded to tell her I can go home and get my reciept, I just must just of frogotten it on my table. Then she proceeds to complain to her cashier.
I was so embarrassed by this ordeal I tried to call head quarters two weeks straight and no answer or replies were returned by my experience. This company is shiesty and uncompassionate towards their customers. If I can sue them and their store, I'd like to for abuse and accusations of things that did not occur. Also if I returned items at all times, then show me the return slip I had to fill out? Something that only done once in my 30 years of shopping. Very disappointed customer.
The store in Washington Utah off Telegraph has always been cleaner compared to others in town but in the last two weeks it has really stepped up! The aisles are clear, the shelves are neat and organized. The employees seem to work well together and are friendly and helpful. Thank you to "Vina" and her team for making such positive changes in the store. Keep up the great work!
Dollar Tree Online Shoppers BEWARE! I rarely use this site; but, they had a special on shipping. And, they have the least expensive bulk price for tissue paper (for gifts). VERY long story short, our items didn't arrive. Called Dollar Tree support to advise. Very poor customer service and they refused to refund the money for items we didn't receive. And, the representatives were rude. Wasn't much; but, it was still our money. I know these are tough times; and, most can't afford NOT to shop at Dollar Tree. My goal? Avoid using them if you can. And, DEFINITELY try not to order online. They'll keep your money AND your merchandise. Guess their unscrupulous business practices is how they stay cheap. Proves the old adage, you get what you pay for!.

I go to two dollartree stores(San Juan Capistrano, Capistrano beach) and this happened at one of them(San Juan Capistrano,) This one particular guy seems to ring the items. I didn't buy or overcharge the item.
Second time I caught him, I showed my receipt and items in the bag. He called up the other employee and they started arguing to me (instead of explaining to me)that there's nothing wrong. I waited their apology but it never came, saying, "Nobody's perfect." was the closest thing they said. Since then I never returned to that store. It's more important to defend their colleague than the customer even if they know they are wrong.
I think you should not label stuff to wrong price if it says it's one dollars for a 500 piece puzzle but then it's five dollars I think that's stupid form Ethan layton
The Manager of that store should be demoted. They had 1 line open for 10 people, a man went and asked the Manager if she would open another lane she told him NO. What kind of Manager doe's that, we'll 4 of use dropped our stuff right there and left. Not cool
I called yesterday and spoke with 3 people on my misship and damage merchandise. The first 2 representatives gave me the same exact instructions to go to the dollar tree store near me to bring the merchandise back and once I get there to call them so that the store manager can verify the items that I am claiming. Once I got there they would refund me while in the store ( back to my card online) and to leave the merchandise there... However, once I got there the 3rd representative told me something different. I did exactly what I was instructed to do. I called when I got there. That is when the 3rd representative answered the phone. She told me that I could not bring it to the store because it was shipped to my home address which is UPS. I told her that the other 2 representative knew that. I explained that to them. I received a 12count case of bath salt which I ordered a 12 count case of hurricane candle holders. I also ordered 32 small candle holders 9 came in damaged. All pictures are attached. I am so disappointed and angry because I shipped them directly to myself because I had an issue with it going to the store a while back. When I shipped it to the store, I had ordered 2 items both came in but the manager only came back with one item ordered and said the other item was in the store but he could not find it so he had them refund me. I wanted to try it a different way since the pass experience was not good. This one was worst. I am so frustrated because I went to dollar tree to get no results. The girl told me that I had to ship it all back even the broken/ damaged merchandise after I was told by 2 others representatives that I would get refunded when I get there and to leave the merchandise. I am not paying for shipping. So they will have to figure something out. Well, at the end, I had to bring the merchandise back home. If I do not get the results I feel I deserve, I will dispute my entire charge with the bank. This is not my fault and I think I should be compensated for this. Need I remind you my merchandise total was $55 my shipping was 24ish and tax was 7ish. Which is more than half my order price.
Answer: It means you have to buy a certain quantity, full stop, and they each cost a dollar plus tax and shipping, or free shipping if they send it to a store.
