The sales rep pressured me to order more to "meet his monthly quota", Order placed well in advance, 2 weeks, they guaranteed a delivery date, and backed out of it. Ended up cancelling and going with another company. What a disaster of a combination of customer service/sleezy sales tactics/false claims.

They screwed up the first order and told no one that it won't be ready. Then the second order was supposed to be rushed and arrive today but of course these idiots didn't put it for Saturday delivery. I have spent hours of my time on the phone and lots of money and even after screwing up the first time discount mugs couldn't do anything right!

Beware
December 14, 2017

I ordered over $300 worth of shirts and they were shipped with the text upside down. I have been waiting for them to call me back about it for days as they said they would and finally had to call them again. They mentioned that they dont take returns as they cant use the shirts anymore?! I complained, as they were the ones who messed my order up and obviously I cant use the shirts either. They then said maybe I could get the money back and told me I would get an email with a return label then they hung up on me (for the second time). Horrible customer service and if they dont give refunds when they screw your order up theres a real problem.

Pray they don't screw up your design
April 6, 2022

Used them since 2014. Never a problem till now. The screwed up the size and location of a graphic. Not a small issues. Basically the small design on front of shirt intended for left breast area they blew up and made it the entire front of the shirt. They admit they screwed it up. My two choices:

1. Wait 4 months for the supposedly out of stock shirts to come in

Or

2. Accept $140 in store credit

I told them I will take the different shirts of equal or lesser value instead and they just ignored it

I'm guessing they want to wait out the time so you can't do a chargeback

Ordered over 750 Unit personalized pint-glasses and they were excellent! Artwork was perfect, not a single glass arrived damaged, communication was frequent and prompt, fun to work with and was, overall, a seamless and easy transaction.
Thanks to Kelly, who provided outstanding customer service to our unit and ensured our precise needs were met, and exceeded!

WRONG SPELLING AND DESIGN
November 16, 2017

Product misprinted and misspelled my Logo name and it arrived in a different colour. The did not say that they would refund me or replace them. They offered to replace them for 25% off when it was their mistake.

Not What I expected
April 10, 2020

Made sunglasses, proof looked good, received the products and the logo looked much smaller then the proof, print was blurry and could not read writing. Was told AFTER I got the product that it was not a good design to use... you would think that a company that specializes in custom products would give a warning or something that your design may not come out the way you expect. Tried to work out a solution to the problem but they would do nothing then I finally got an in store credit. A 25$ in store credit does just about nothing when a setup fee for any product is 50+ dollars.
I do not see myself buying from them in the future.

Discount mugs is great. Washington is who places my orders…and I go back to him every time! I have sent customers here, and recommend him. If there is a question or glitch, he will resolve it and an because of him, Discount Mugs has kept my business!

I have just placed my first order with Discount Mugs. Unsure if my artwork uploaded properly I had to call customer service. Manuel who I spoke to was wonderful and even went above and beyond requesting a proof be sent to us today to rush along the order.

My order was supposed to be delivered between August 7 and 8th. No contact about any delays or issues from them. It did not arrive until the 18th and the screen printing on the masks is poor at best. First time using them, will never use them again.

I had an event coming up in two weeks and of course I wanted to have something personalized. Maria Giusti made the process quick, simple and very pleasurable. Very disappointed
February 1, 2018

Very disappointed with their service. We ordered 2500 pens. It was supposed to be delivered by Jan 17/18th. Did not arrive until a week later but they sent us the wrong order. It wasn't even our company logo! When I submitted a ticket (with a picture) and then spoke to a representative and expressed we needed the order immediately for an event that weekend. They said the earliest they could get it to us was Wednesday. It's now Thursday afternoon and I still don't have our order.
If you are looking for a company that will deliver in a timely matter or at least by their delivery date don't order from this company. They have done nothing to show that hey value their customers.

That's when a friend of a colleague suggested Discountmugs.com. Oh, that referral was a Godsend! Discountmugs.com had pretty much everything we wanted in terms of memorabilia and giveaways, what was left to do was to personalize it and add company logos and other stuff. You might think that going through that instead of just buying predesigned stuff or ordering them from sites that accept preorders of personalized products would cost more—but that's not the case! Discountmugs.com sells good stuff for great prices. They're well made and were of good quality. We thought at first that such affordable prices would mean the goods were just as cheap, but thank heavens we took the risk. It paid off!

I run an art gallery and part of a recycling project, I decided to use wholesale ceramic mugs to paint designs on them. A friend recommended me to DiscounteMugs and it's been a wonderful experience so far. Ordered about 100 the first time around and for my next opening, another 300 was ordered. The good thing about these mugs is that though the prices were relatively cheaper than the average market price, the ceramic was really strong- I can paint on them and then heat them up without worrying about the ceramics cracking under intense heat. Will definiltey buy from them again.

UPDATE... the company did make good on my order and send tumblers to replace the ones which were misprinted.

Horrible. Just horrible. 7 of the 12 tumblers ordered were printed incorrectly. To add insult to injury the only remedial action offered was a partial credit which is only good for future purchasesAND the credit expires in 90 days. As if I would place another order from this company. When I indicated that this remedy was not satisfactory they stopped communicating with me. BIG surprise. Seriously folks, find another company to do business with.

Ordered mugs came in wrong color I ordered dark blue and the came in black no big deal we all make mistakes but when I called to get it corrected and sent the email with the requested picture of 5 mugs they disappeared, no follow up no fixing the issue no response to email or ownership of the case when I called
Then upon closer review my logo on 9 mugs was spotted in the solid area of the logo. I recommend to use another vendor

I ordered 13 shirts on May 29,2019. It said expected delivery June 7-8. Looked on June 1, 2, 3 and it said the same thing. Called on June 4 and they said order would not come till June 10 or later. So I paid 20 bucks for rush shipping to get it delivered on June 7. Called June 5 and they said June 7 is still expected delivery. Called June 6 in the AM and they said they will overnight the shipment. Called at 3 pm and they said wait till 8 pm to get the fedex tracking number. Called at 5:30 pm and they said, it wont be shipped overnight.

In my 13 calls to discountmugs they were NEVER able to tell me the status of the order. They made multiple promises to call/email back with updates and they never did.

So they issued a refund and said they would still deliver the shirts. Today is June 17, there are no shirts and when I check online it says order cancelled.

Yesterday I decided to order imprinted can koozies for a quickly approaching family reunion. After considerable Internet research, I decided to use discountmugs.com. I went into their website (very user friendly), designed my koozie, and proceeded to checkout. For some reason, my computer kept locking up when I got to a certain step in the ordering process. After several attempts at ordering, and much aggravation, I finally called the telephone number listed on their website. I was routed to Pedro. What a stroke of luck for me. Pedro was so helpful, he talked me down from my computer craziness and processed my order quickly and professionally. The customer support provided by Pedro is unusual in these days and much appreciated. Thank you Pedro.
