Do not buy plants from this co. Multiple email asking what was taking so long for my delivery. Multiple excuses. I'm going to attempt a refund.
Ordered potato 4/1/20 and here it is the end of May and still no product. Never will use them again.
They would get a 0 if had could give it. Last year I ordered $500.76 of thyme. When I finally got them, they were black and smelled like mold. I called and they said they were dormant and to plant them. I paid two people to help me plant the 700 plants. Not one lived. I had taken a picture of the shipping label and all the information on the bag as it was raining and I was afraid it wouldn't survive. Of course, it got thrown out but the picture was perfect. When I called them again, they told me to wait until they had a chance to grow. Dead is dead but I waited. When I called and emailed again, they said I had to mail the original label on that nasty bag back. I sent the pictures that were very clear but they refused to give me my money back. Even after I sent pictures originally of how black and dead they were when received. I fought like hell for a year and they finally sent replacements. Guess what? Half were dead but some had green and about 87 were missing. I contacted immediately about the missing and cut the label and all information from the package and kept it. I let them know the condition was not good and how many were missing. A month later they had me mail in the label and a letter requesting replacements for the 87 and told me to wait to see if the thyme grew. It didn't. I got a replacement credit for the 87 missing plants of $53.87 but they refuse to give me the remaining credit so I can actually get something that will live. I am wondering if anything lives they send. DON'T BUY FROM this RIPOFF deceiving company.
My roses were stuffed in a bag broken and moldy, took 2 monthes to get here and now dealing with black spot from them in my garden. Go to heirloom roses
FIRST TIME IN 75 YEARS I GOT SCREWED WHEN ORDERING. I PLACED A ORDER WHEN IT GOT TO MY HOME IT WAS WAY LESS THAN I EXPECTED. VERY POOR LABELING ON THE ITEMS AND THE PLANTS WERE NOT AS ADVERTISED. ALSO I WAS TO RECEIVE SEVERAL FREE ITEMS WITCH I DID NOT GET. I SENT A EMAIL TO THEM THE REPLY I GOT WAS THEY WERE FREE. IT MADE FEEL I WAS WRONG TO QUESTION WHY I DIDN'T GET THE FREE ITEMS. THEY MAKE IT SOUND LIKE THE MORE YOU SPEND THE MORE FREE ITEMS YOU GET. I THINK THIS IS IS FALSE ADVERTISING AND, WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIG
In March of 2014 I ordered 18 American Arborvitae to create a hedge along my back property. Two weeks later I decided I needed 6 more. The first order totaled $18.50, the second $13.79. I received each order about a month after the order. I planted each tree as instructed and within one month everyone had died. Fortunately, I had saved the mailing stickers on label from the package as proof of purchase. I called customer service and after talking to a very nice lady decided to use my credit toward red barberry bushes to make a hedge. I was hesitant about trying the American Arborvitae as I had such poor luck. I then wrote a letter to the company as instructed, included the stickers as proof of purchase and my request for the red barberry shrubs as a replacement. Since I spent a total of $32.29 I was told I would receive 18 red barberry bushes in their place. Today I received the package with a total of 9 shrubs. I called customer service and was informed that if I had purchased each bush singly that that would have totaled the cost I spent. I believe they hire lawyers for their customer service to make you look stupid and turn the problem back around on you. Will I do business with them again? I think not. I don't know if the red barberry will live but I feel I was short changed by being told one thing by a customer rep and then being argued with by a second. Don't do business with them.
I have been awaiting an order and cannot get a call or email response! I will never use this site again!
Ordered 10 bareroot hibiscus, 6 daylilies, 2 snowball bushes, glads, & seeds. 1st problem missing hibscus & seeds. 2nd problem everything died, finally got seeds & they didn't even germinate... total order worthless. Customer service... nasty, argumentive, unconcerned. Filed claim with BBB, DG lied & told them they'd refund when they told me they would not. Told BBB they wanted original shipping label for refund, I told BBB others sent in original shipping label & NEVER got replacements nor refunds. BBB declared DG was making an honest effort to refund & closed case. Got letter from DG stating they would send replacements, not the refund they told BBB, as soon as they got original shipping label. DG lied to BBB. They lied to me. Had I seen all the negative reviews I'd have NEVER bought from these scammers. BEWARE!
Ordered plants that in the past have always grown for me. It wasn't a large order just $54 worth, but nothing at all grew, they all withered & died even with my expertise of 50 yrs of gardening with fruits, veggies, & flowers of all kinds. I don't want replacements of such bad quality plants, I just want a refund & DG is giving me the run-around. Don't buy from this company, they do not send quality products nor back up their promise all things will grow.
This company is a sham and needs to be reported and banned from selling anything. The only number is always busy, they do not answer emails.
I ordered over 100. Worth of plants to try and save money. All I got were dormant sticks. I did everything they said and only two plants came to life. I asked for replacements or my money back. I got my written request back and the copy of the order saying I needed the shipping label. THE SHIPPING LABEL! They know darn well the dirty bag containing the SHIPPING LABEL would all be thrown away. The order sheet containing all the names and numbers and the and the invoice number and the order date and my address and their address and the payment type etc wasn't good enough! The basic plain shipping sticker would have been! This is a scam. They sell you sticks and if you don't have the shipping sticker off the bag the sticks came in you don't get a refund or replacements. This is so not right. They must sit their laughing every time they get an order. I sent money in good faith and they scammed me and every other sucker who buys from them. As far as I am concerned this is stealing. Why are they allowed to stay in business? Isn't there the BBB or some govt program for scams like these? BEWARE. All other companys work to get you a refund or new plants. Nope not here.
I ordered 10 roses from this place, I received them two months later and all of are dead. Please save your money and frustration.
They are very good at taking money and shipping nothing. Please don't buy anything from them or don't be surprised when you get nothing.
DO NOT BUY from these scam artists. You will receive dead plants, no promised "Free Gift" and you will have to pay to return said Dead Plants AND the packaging they came in.
I do not suggest going through the trouble of dealing with this extremely disappointing company. I wish I had paid attention to reviews before I did.
Answer: Yes it Is absolutely real. They are thieves. I just called my credit card company to do the dispute becoz they are not responsible for the dead plants they sent to me with all the charges including the shipping fee. This company has to be shut down for their dishonest business. I will fight for it and no more people will be mistreated and cheated.
