I ordered a Doona stroller from that store and pay through Afterpay. But next day the store was canceled my order and told me that my Billing address didn't pass the verification process. But my billing address is the same as usual. I don't know what's wrong. I called to my bank and they told me my billing address is ok. Awful store!
Poor management that violated labor laws, HIPAA, and basic ethical standards. The labor posters, ethics hotline and policies are just for looks and not actually followed or enforced. Corporate policies are violated regularly. Reporting to Corporate does no good. Was told by manager that Dillard's attorneys always have her back. Disgusting.
As a former employee, I was instructed to utilize target marketing. Basically racial profiling in which discrimination is encouraged. Poor management and the store manager is not professional. As an employee you were instructed to do other things I felt was unprofessional towards the public. This happened with several employees at the alabama spanish fort store.
Never again will I purchase anything Dillard's. I received a birthday gift in July 2022, finally tried the shirt on and noticed the sleeve had a snag in 2 places. Tried to exchange it but their 30 day wouldn't allow it. It was a gift! Horrible Management, don't care about customer! Rating 0..
Be sure you want what you buy here. Even with Covid issues, the 30 day return policy stands. I spent the first half of Covid on family property a days drive from town and could not do the return in time. Other stores have better customer service.
I received my order today. I have always received orders in plastic with my clothing folded. As you can see from the photo, this is how it came! In the second photo it looks like someone stepped on it! I am not sure if I will ever order again.
I have not shopped this store online but the first time i went into one of their stores it reminded me of Kohls. Dillards had a pretty good selection in the mens clothing section. Will shop there again when i get the opportunity
"This is my first time ordering from Dillards online. I typically shop in the store. Anyway I'm very satisfied with the belts that I bought for my wife. It was exactly what I was looking for and didn't have to get out in the crowds to shop."
They charge a $9.95 return fee. That's high! If I'm buying shoes online, there's a good chance I will need to return them. To have to pay $9.95 for every pair I return is just too high.
I was shopping for some jeans for my husband. When I walked past the folded jeans their metal sign on the shelf was sticking out and I ripped a 3 by 21/2 inch hole in my shirt. They offered for me to bring my shirt back for their seamstress to patch my shirt. Like I would want to wear a patched Jones New York shirt. The manager that made the recommendation did not even show his face. At the price of that shirt, which I bought there, I can't believe that is how they wanted to compensate for their negligence in their display shelf. Customer service has really changed.
One of the best online experiences I have had. I only wish they could do something about their "site feedback". It seems it doesn't work. I clicked a lot to put my review there, but my clicks were useless. Anyway, I was searching for a gift for my 8-year-old son. Came across many options to choose. I'm sure you can find a good pair of trousers or toys or anything else for your children too.
I spent 1100 on a vintage handbag and within an hour noticed it didn't zip well, they flat refuse to back their products once they have your money. Nordstrom and a ton of sellers on eBay guarantee them, truly they are not great quality for the money and you can get better service anywhere. Dillard's has really awful customer service in comparison to Nordstrom, Neiman or even eBay.
Today, I went to Dillard's in Wellington to buy a blouse and ended up buying a whole new wardrobe. Sue and Danielle, located in the downstairs women's department, were so lovely and welcoming. They spent hours pulling me together with pants, tops and dresses. There was no pressure to buy and we talked and laughed the whole time. I felt like I was in a small boutique with impeccable personalized attention.
Freda Merendine at the fragrance counter is an amazing employee! Freda knows her stuff and makes everyone feel comfortable. She also will provide a sample of the fragrance you like which is fantastic— that way you can try it with your normal workout, deodorant, etc.
This store is absolutely the worst, none of these associates want to help, they just want to stand there and make money. Their departments are filthy and full of mold and rats. I can safely say that I'll never shop there again after the associates in the shoe dept started to swear at each other because they were trying to make commission off of me. Really terrible service even with managers. I asked to speak with the store manager and they said he was unavailable because he doesn't speak with customers. That whole department store will be run down thanks to the people who are running it. I'll give it a couple years before they go out of business.
Bought 2 dresses for my daughters and it was torn after second use. Went to return and received the worst treatment and terrible customer service and they refused to return despite paying more than 100$ for a dress that does not worth a penny. They also refused to connect me with manufacturer.
I purchased a pair of UGG's for my girlfriend for Christmas. I payed full price $215.00 after taxes. My girlfriend unwrapped them on Christmas day and was extremely happy. As she tried them on and got to comparing them to an authentic pair, she noticed something didn't feel quite right. The stitching was different, the UGG tag on the back had odd spacing and sat a bit crooked. The lining on the inside could be separated from the outside and wasn't one solid piece. Dillard's sells counterfeit UGG's and charges full price. Do not purchase any shoes from this company! They should be prosecuted as would anyone else for selling counterfeit product's.
I ordered a purse. It shipped very fast and came with 3-4 days. However I had to return it. Which they charge you around 10$ to return! Lets just say it been a month since the return and I have yet to receive any notice or my money back! I called and emailed multiple times and never can get through to anyone! Save yourself the trouble of ordering from here!
Short and sweet; the worst of sales associate, we love people who come to our country BUT, to work in that position one must have product knowledge and converse properly.
She wrote up a ticket of sale, showed my drivers license, gave her my Mastercard. She processed the sale and THEN explained the slacks were NOT in the store and they would be shipped to me. Immediately asked to cancel the charge, she gave me a receipt. Waited over a week and checked my credit card account, NO credit, was charged the $74.00 amount. Waited again then called the store, got a run-around and asked to wait for the credit, they agreed I should not be charged as I have a credit slip. Still waiting and no credit. Just called the store talked with Darel, he tells me to come to the store. Who pays for my time and expenses? There are too many stores to shop in and I can see all the bad Dillard reviews. DON'T shop here.
I went to Dillard's to buy a suit but there was no one working in their suit department. After standing around for 10 minutes finally a girl from another department came over and told me that their suite manager didn't come to work.
Answer: I don't know about their in-store customer service, but the phone representative I talked to was snippy. As far as their return policy, for online purchases, just be sure not to use PayPal because they won't refund it and don't tell you that when you order. You have to find out the hard way, when you get a "gift card" in the mail.
Answer: There may be a few negative complaints but Dillard's is actually one of the highest rated retailers on this entire site! It pretty much has one of the best overall scores. And that's saying a lot for any retailer these days. I was surprised myself. If you've had issues, try to take a multi-pronged approach such as myself, calling, emailing, live chat (if they have it) - until you get a resolution. Also, try to find a feedback section and state your case there as well. Good Luck.
Answer: Nope -Dillards has a horrible return policy and are very rude if you go in person
