I placed an order for a $198 skincare product with Dermstore, using the address I have lived at for 11 years. The order never came. I contacted Dermstore, and was told they delivered to another address, which I had never heard of and never entered. It is about half a mile from my place, and I went to the apartment building, and the apt number on the address they told me they made the delivery to didn't even exist. I contacted Dermstore numerous times, via email, App messaging, and phone. I explained the situation, and asked for a refund or to be sent a replacement. Over and over, the people I corresponded with were absolutely unhelpful, and said there was nothing they can do. I will never order from this store again, and I advise everyone to avoid it. Zero stars
Order an eye more than a week ago. The cream arrived dry. I called customer service and they told me I had to file a complaint with quality, that was the only thing they could do, was by filing the complaint. I filed the complaint and they told 3-5 days I would get a response. It's been a week with no response or phone call to either give me a refund or send me another cream. I will never purchase again *******@dermstore. Poor customer service to send a customers bad items and don't address the issue immediately.
The product came partially opened and now they send daily sales emails although I have requested many times to be removed. I get marketing pop-up videos from dermstore as well. Were there an option of less than 1 star- I would have chosen it.
First time customer of Dermstore and they sent me a packaged that weighed. 24 ils. To my surprise (joking) I opened to find an empty box... so much fir surprising my fiancee with some random "just because" gifts.
I spend thousands a year on skincare. I was excited to find dermstore and earn rewards but they cancelled my last four orders with zero explanation. So frustrating. I will never order from them again.
They used to have better shipping but now everything takes two weeks or longer. It makes it worse because the tracking information is useless and doesn't update. Their customer service is no help and rude! Done shopping with them and will give my business elsewhere from now on. This has happened too many times for it to be considered a fluke.
They sent the wrong order then tell me they can't find me in their system, but have been billing and shipping for a year, I'm wondering if Dermstore is now run by someone else? China is buying up companies and they make it difficult to communicate so maybe thats what happened
After spending a lot of money with this company for many years, I have finally had it. They ship counterfeit products (damaged packaging, broken seals, rancid product) and now that they have closed their LA office the customer service is TERRIBLE.
Recently, I ordered an expensive product that hasn't arrived ten days after shipping. The tracking code says the product is still "in transit" with no ETA. I reached out to Dermstore but they basically said it's my problem. I have contacted my credit card company for a dispute claim.
Really bad attitude at this company. Guess they don't need loyal customers... or any customers?
In two consecutive orders from dermstore I received products that appeared to have been heavily used and were missing significant quantities of product. The exchange process was a hassle and took more than 2 weeks. This store is ok, but beware that you may receive used products and not get the full value out of your money.

I placed an order for my 90-year old aunt who lives in Florida. Twice, it went through but no confirmation email or message. Plus I promised my Aunt she would receive it in two days and paid for the extra shipping. I tried to call to see if it did or did not go through but they were 'closed'. No way that I could see to contact customer service otherwise. So overall BAD experience with their site. Went to Amazon to buy for $20 LESS and made a note to call this morning. Sure enough both orders went through, all ready "being processed" so can't stop the order or the charges. They said "sorry we can't do anything" poor customer service routine. So if you shop there, good luck.

I have used Dermstore for a at least 5 years but my recent experience has been so terrible I will not continue to order from them. I ordered on Thanksgiving and 2 days after. After 14 days I started to receive pieces of my orders. I say prices because so far I have received 4 boxes. 2 with missing products and the products that were included were either damaged or incorrect all together. I still don't even have half of the items I ordered and I have no insight into when they will arrive. Customer service admitted this happens often and while the person I dealt with was very nice and helpful she can't help the egregious order fulfillment issues.
They are a bunch of liars and their customer service reps are so rude. I ordered 350$ worth of products on 11/28, as per their website it was delivered to me on morning of 12/05/2019 but i received nothing. Called them twice explaining my situation and cust. Service rep. Kept saying to wait for 24-48 hours. Eventually they hung up on me so I put it in dispute with my credit card company. Save yourself this trouble and avoid this company/ They lure you into buying by offering more discount than other companies.
Bait & switch for the magazines/rebates. Never send magazines or honor rebate. Say it is the magazines issue and magazine company blames Dermstore. Total cheats and they do not care about losing customers over deceitful practices.
I was sent the wrong product. I have called no less than 10 times. I enter my order number I wait on hold and then I get a message that says the Google subscriber I'm calling cannot be reached. I tried a different extension and was able to leave a message twice with no return phone call. I have tried calling at different times as well. I understand product mistakes happen but at this point it's definitely very frustrating but I can't receive any help to correct the issue.
Dermstore reached out to me regarding my negative experience. They told me to contact them privately so that they could discuss what occurred. So I sent them a direct message several weeks ago and have not received any further communication whatsoever. It seems that they want the appearance of being helpful and accommodating but then will leave you hanging.
Awful, shady company. Their customer service is extremely unreliable. They promise one thing one day and then take away that promise the next. They never apologize if there is a mistake on their end and they don't seem to value their customers whatsoever. Dermstore also practices false advertising. In their BeautyFix boxes, they promised a full size product but then sent a mini size without warning customers.
Spoke to several employees this year to investigate a charge dated November 29,2020 for $149.00. Was told no record on file for charge & I sent copy of the charge to my Visa CC. The answer always is " I will send concern to have someone look into this" and I never hear back. I did not receive points into my account either. Poorly managed business that will eventually suffer as customer service unacceptable.
I placed an order with Dermstore and received a shipping notice with a UPS # on it the next day. The UPS tracking progress indicated the shipping label was created 12/27/21. It has not moved out of their warehouse (never given to UPS). Five business days later it still just shows label created ready for pickup with the same date of 12/27. Despite numerous calls and chats, there is always some double talk and run around and no promised call back from customer relations. WELL, it has obviously not moved out of their warehouse and they should either refund or replace an obvious mess on their end. I will never order from their again and caution anyone who does... good luck if you get it shipped to you and with the right products enclosed.
Beware when returning items. I do not recommend using the using the "prepaid" return label. It has been almost 3 weeks and the tracking still shows "in transit" The package is only going from AZ to KY. I was told it could take up to 14 days additional time after they receive the item to actually obtain my store credit... ridiculous
They sent broken unit. In all my years using pump products I have never had a broken unit. I have been using tns skin medica advanced for many years. In my opinion their Derm Store Customer service is beyond terrible. Their chat is useless. Their phone service also useless it seems that they are trying to hide-make it impossible to return or find a solution. When searching for my order on their site my order number—could not be found—the free useless gift they claim is worth $25 is what shows when you attempt to return. Lots of computer gibberish. Then after many attempts —and demands —and I mean much time wasted—they finally put a message on my account on-line-that want me to waste more of my time to take a video. Pump doesn't work-customer doesn't work…buyer beware!
Worst on-line shopping experience of my life! DO NOT order from this company. They do not provide 1-3 day shipping, I ordered a product on 9/25 and to date 10/12, I still have not received it. Several calls to customer service were very frustrating and the representatives are rude and will provide you with misinformation. Dermstore really needs to evaluate their company procedures and get honest with the unsuspecting customers that patronize them. Spend your money elsewhere with a reputable company!
We have reviewed this customers review. We are always sad to hear that a customer had a negative experience with our site. After review of the situation we see that some unexpected circumstances happened with this order. DermStore does provide 1-3 day shipping on orders that qualify for this shipping method, because of the contents of this order it had to be shipped by a method that can take longer than 3 days. DermStore reshipped the order and issued the customer a credit for the inconvenience.
