Nightmare Experience
December 2, 2017

This has been a nightmare experience. The site has frequent glitches where it displays jibberish in certain areas. It is also down more than it has ever been with any other hosting provider.

But the biggest issue by far is billing and support. Every time we call they alternate between telling us we are paid in full and that we owe money and they are going to shut us down. I called this past Wednesday to make sure we were paid in full and was told we were. Because of past problems I requested a confirmation email saying that we were paid in full, which they sent.

Then they shut our site down this morning (Saturday) for non-payment! When I called to try to get it straightened out (again) I was told that billing dept does not open until Monday and there was nothing that could be done until then.

So now my site will be down all weekend right in the middle of a big paid promotion we were doing.

If you are thinking of using this company, you will be making a HUGE mistake.

If you do need anything else please do not hesitate to contact us/our Billing Department again and we'd be glad to assist. The actual Billing Department is available via phone Monday through Friday however we have other reps who should be able to assist in this type of case 24/7/365. I again apologize for the confusion and the inconveniences this has caused.

My friend advised me to go for this host when I was in need of a Linux hosting for my science website. This made me select them and I have been successfully working with their hosting for the past month.
They have Excellent uptime, awesome performance. Keep up the great work! Highly recommended as they are proven to be the best in the IT world.

After Liquidweb sadly sold out to DeluxeHosting, I was inadvertently exposed to nonsense.

I was hung up on when asking for the name of who I was being "serviced" by trying to meet my new "service provider'. I have been with these people since 2009, but the new staff hasn't been told (the sale was like 2016).

Do not pay DeluxeHosting money.

Their staff guided me through the transition from liquidweb to deluxe hosting. They responded to my queries with explanations that I could understand (I am not a web savvy techno-person).
The services they offer for the plan I have are delivered reliably.

Have had nothing but problems with my Pro hosting package with Deluxe. And I'm a light user, with 3 wordpress installations. Site is constantly having problems, cant login to my cpanel. The customer service is awful and spotty. Avoid at all costs. They are 3x the price of other services too.

Phenomenal Support

I've only had to contact DeluxeHosting twice and each time they had my issue resolved over the phone. It was quick and easy, they put in a ticket with the issue and resolution so if it happened again I had the information on how to solve it myself.

Currently have had 3 days of no working email at my business. I've worked with somewhere between 4 and 10 different people now - none of them know whats going on, all have me try the same troubleshooting methods and every call leads to a "support ticket" which means nothing will get fixed and you wont hear from anyone. ON TOP OF THAT - I purchased a SSL certificate in May and over a month later they had still not installed it causing my website to go down. Their response was to tell me I never replied to an email which they later found out they never sent to me. Since they installed the SSL certificate my email has crashed and Ive spent hours emailing/chatting/calling with their tech support and still no resolution. You are better off printing your emails and attaching them to carrier pigeons then using this service.

Probably the best in what I have experienced so far ( I have tried the other companies as well). As for value the price is justified. I was shocked it was even cheaper than my previous host even with all the additional features.

I used to be a LiquidWeb customer until my account was sold to Deluxe Hosting. Last month one of my clients called me and asked if I was still in business. What prompted the question was the fact that my website was not loading and showed an error. Sadly and unbeknownst to me, my site had been down for 3 weeks. I immediately called Deluxe Hosting who gave me a royal runaround with back and forth emails claiming I should have my webmaster fix the problem. I switched to GoDaddy and during the migration, Deluxe Hosting repaired the issue. Too little too late. You can a zero from me. SabrinaBrazilTravel.com

Wow! These people are awesome! I am switching my site to DeluxeHosting as they seem more reliable as far as up time, as for sure more helpful! I have yet to build my new site with them, but from the little interaction I have had with them so far I am very pleased!

They were good, now you should avoid!

I've used Deluxe Hosting for years, hosting multiple business sites and have not had issues until this year (2021).

It started when all of our sites AND Deluxehosting.com went down for hours without any notice. We could not get ahold of anyone as they do not offer phone support due to COVID and can't chat in since their site was down and emails to them were bouncing.

This same complete outage happened again a month or two later.

Both of these incidents - the company never issued a post mortem, apology, or explanation as to what happened. I tried to ask for more information, but they refused to provide any information, an apology, etc.

As I look to move our server to a new host, our site goes down twice in one day. One they say was due to a "Server permission issue" and the other is they say was a "Cert Issue" causing them to have to repurchase and install our site's ceriticates despite our cert being active (Renewed in July)

Support is only via chat and super frustrating to deal with. It seems like it's all outsourced and they are not able to effectively communicate or identify the issue at hand.

We are an agency and tried to work with Deluxe Hosting after they purchased Liquid Web. Aside from the fact that their servers are inadequate to handle WordPress, they won't issue a refund to my client. We tried to access her cpanel to move her to Google Apps, but that too wasn't working. The end result is this review and my client is cancelling (even though they won't refund her). Deluxe Hosting is unethical and using cheap hardware.

There are lots of space, little down time, great support, I couldn't ask for anything more!
There is so much packed into DeluxeHosting hosting plans, email, databases, and I love how I don't get punished for having lots of visitors!

Scam on renewals

They hit your credit card automatically. If you try to cancel they tell you to email *******@deluxehosting.com with your invoice #. Then they never credit you. The representative in billing just told me once they hit your credit card you are contracted for a year.It's in their terms and agreement. Even though I canceled the hosting and I do not have the service they are still billing me $249.48.

My account at liquidweb was sold to Felix host. They support is awful. No reply to support request for two hours. They stink. I'm paying a premium for this account and getting no support. Stay away from deluxehosting.com.
