Ok so I didn't have my receipts and they gave my a song and dance for a simple exchange. They couldn't find my purchase in the computer and they made me feel as though I was a criminal. They saw my purchase of my daughter's wedding dress but from 2006 but not mine from 2009. I also recently purchased 4 dresses, 2 for me and 2 for my granddaughter and one on line. They have such a poor system in place. I came in with the dresses and they saw me come in so what did they think that maybe I stole them some how. I mean really
Now. The end of story is that they didn't exchange the dresses and now I am stuck with 2 outfits wrong size. They lost my business for good.
My review is specifically for Mrs. Stacey Knight at the Glen Burnie store.
1) As soon as we walked in ( myself & my sister) I'm the mother of bride. We were greeted immediately with a warm smile. By the staff at the front desk
2) The store was clean, not overly crowed I was direct to my area so I didn't have to wander around the store.
3) Stacey was assigned to me. Immediately I knew she was the person for me. She was warm, friendly, listened when I spoke, she assessed my needs with limited conversation, professional with a little sassiness which helped me RELAX! I enjoyed her immensely. Even though I didn't make a purchase I had to do this review. Mrs Stacey Knight is a 5-star bridal coordinator. Thank you
They lost one of our bridesmaid dresses. Told us it was on it's way in August. In September they said it was shipped in July but returned undeliverable. All the dresses went to the same address so that makes no sense. They didn't have the same dress anymore so we had to accept a substitute in the same color, 2 sizes up. Then they charged us for the more expensive dress and the nearly $200 to alter it. In store service couldn't help at all. Said we had to call customer service. Customer service doesn't answer the phone. Literally have tried 5 times and been hung up on. I tried texting and have been waiting for a response for over 8 hours. Horrible, horrible customer service. The replacement dress should have been sent free along with a voucher to cover the alterations.
I bought my wedding dress from David's Bridal in June. The dress was beautiful, except the beading on the bodice that were coming off. In August I took it in for alterations( hem, sew in straps, but buttons on for the bustle) and I picked it up in September. I got married in October, and on the day of my wedding I found straight pins in the dress that were left from the alterations. Come to find out they never hemmed my dress! I tried the dress on the day I picked it up. The lady told me everything was fine and I wasn't poked by anything, little did I know I should have looked for straight pins, I've never had anything altered! When I went back to David's bridal after the wedding they basically told me that I'm lying and won't do any type of refund for the work they didn't complete! I have pictures and 9 people that can vouch for it! Completely outraged! I would highly recommend staying the hell away from David's bridal!
I had the most amazing experience with Farida at David's Bridal while fitting and arranging alterations for my dress. She was extremely informative, knowledgeable and warm. She really made my experience delightful. We added a belt to my dress and it elevated my look and made my simple dress really shine. I would recommend all brides work with Farida, but she truly was lovely.
I purchased a pair of shoes and needed to exchange for a half size difference. The person on the phone told me if I re-ordered I wouldn't pay shipping on the return. She sent me a label and ordered me the correct size. Now I received my charge card statement and they cheated me out of $20.50 on a $52.95 order. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.
The stylist that I had my appt with disappeared after I tried on a few dresses yesterday at the Alderwood location. I ended up sadly walking out of the store because I couldn't get any help. She was no where to be seen.
I was a walk in costumer. I felt awkward when I walked in because the staff did not treat me like a bride to be because of my age. Yes i am older than the average bride. I did not have the service I deserved. No petite sizes, and your on your own. Towards the end I bought my dress. I will never go back again though.
Worst return policy bought shoe had to order and took two weeks to come actually had to call them to find out they were in went on vacation for a week when we got back the weren't quite right took back to the store for a refund said it was out of the return policy 7 days really they are nice until you want to return something then they are really rude don't buy from them unless you really really want it
After not having the best experience at previous stores, my stylist at David's Bridal (Terrell) was the most amazing person! She was so funny, extremely helpful and catered to my rather demanind wishes for the perfect dress. I found exactly what I dreamed of. Terrell even picked it out for me to try based off of what I said I wanted, it was perfect. HIGHLY recommend this store, and even more highly recommend Terrell as a stylist.
The David's Bridal in Mesquite is the worst, do not go here. My consultant that was supposed to make me feel beautiful did the exact opposite. She just stood there, she acted like it was above her to have me try on more than one dress, and the dress I wanted that was online was discontinued. Which it did not say online! She was lazy and made this the worst part of planning my wedding. She also did not help my bridesmaids at all try on dresses; I scheduled an hour for me and an hour for them. She did not even help them try on; I had to help them in and out of the dresses. When my daughters dress came in they could not even find it, yet they called me and told me it was in and to pick it up by Friday. No "please" just pick it up by Friday. This is by far the worst customer service, my suggestion close this location, they obviously do not care about the women that come there, nor their jobs.
I am very grateful to both Robby and Louanne for their help in helping me find a beautiful dress to wear as a wedding guest for a bride and her family (very dear to me). It turned out that the very first dress that Robby picked out (I considered many) was the one I went with! He was a very good listener, had a great eye and cared about my finding something that I will not only feel good about wearing, but that I would love it, and I do, and actually, it is quite comfortable on! Well done!
When it to comes to dresses and to wearing special occasion dresses davids is always a great choice to ship from due to the high variety of gowns and dresses they have. The label Davids is a good and low priced idea but the designers they carry with their own name is expensive. For example they sell Terani Couture gowns that I saw in their store was much more expensive than Teranis website macktak.com
But still in general they are a good store to buy from. I do appreciate their store.
I was to meet my future daughter-in-law and did not have the address of the correct store. I went to the store on Bluemound Rd. In Brookfield, WI. A young woman, named Khadija, helped me with the address and phone number of the correct store. She was wonderful. Even though there were groups waiting, she still took the time to help me, and sent me on my way with the needed information.
My daughter the bride Laura, my daughter Danielle the bridesmaid and myself Diana, mother of the bride had the great privlidge of working with Jocelyn. She stayed with us the entire time we were there and made some wonderful suggestions for my daughter (by the way she choose the first dress she tried on) and she knew exactly what she was looking for. I was not sure what I wanted and I was able to walk out with my dress collection the same day. We all got our dresses and were ve happy and excited. She is a great asset to your company.
I am writing you to express my disappointment in a recent experience with your store. I purchased a dress from your Paramus store which they unfortunately didn't have in my size. They very graciously offered to have it shipped to them in my size. When I went to pick the dress up, I decided it was not right for my occasion and tried to return it. Even though I was picking up the dress (seeing it for the first time) that day, they told me it was past the 7 day return window and I could no longer return it. I'm not sure how I could've returned it any sooner.
How can I return merchandise that is not in my possession. When I tried to leave the dress there that day, they told me I would be charged anyway. I am a senior citizen and cannot afford the expense of this dress. I tried call the corporate office and received no help.
Could not return dress to store. I took dress to store to return and was told they are a separate company. What? I can return Arie to American Eagle, I can return Lands End to Sears and in some Kohls stores I can return Amazon orders. I was told by store manager to hurry and CALL because I only had 14 days to request a return authorization. Again, what? I could not start a return online. I should mention that the dress was well made, sized accurately and a good value. But since this is SITEjabber you get 1 star. Your online process is antiquated.
Made a 2nd appointment for alterations, realized that what was discussed was not done despite being charged for alterations. In fact, instead of doing what was agreed upon, they chose to cover up the actual stitching needed by sticking a flower where the alterations was supposed to be. When I called the manager to let her know that someone on her team was being dishonest and was doing shoddy work. She never apologized or offered a refund. She wasn't genuinely concerned or that it even happened. Really disappointing that a store manager wasn't able to conduct herself in a professional manner with integrity and care. It was an easily rectifiable situation but a manager that doesn't care says it all.
I went to The East Brunswick NJ David's Bridal and I can't say enough wonderful things about my stylist, Patience. She was so caring and kind and let me tell you- this girl knows her stuff. I picked out 15 dresses on Davis's bridals website as my favorites to try on and I liked a lot of them but I wasn't 100%. As I was deciding between 2 dresses for my wedding, Patience said let me just grab one more dress and I was sold. Omg it fit me like a glove and I felt so comfortable in it. She was spot on. I will forever be a loyal customer to David's Bridal and Patience for their superior customer service, professionalism and value for the money on my purchase. I was deciding between a mermaid/ trumpet style dress and ended up with the gorgeous Chiffon A Line and I couldn't be happier. Enjoy and ask for Patience!
Sanabelle
Sanabelle, the lady at David's Bridal in Orland Park, IL made this a totally memorable experience in the best of ways. She was there for me, on the spot. Helped me with dresses, gave honest critiques. Stayed with me throughout the whole "ordeal", trying different dresses, etc. I bought my dress here. This was my 3rd David's Bridal in the Chicagoland area, and not to take away from the others that helped me at the other stores, I'm just saying that Sanabelle was exceptional. Thank you!
