I was linked to Dating.com from a legitimate site. A free month trial subscription.
First it wasn't free. I had to pay $1 USD from the jump to even start the thing.
It's one of those sites that uses tokens to pay/use any feature. The pricing was ridiculous.
Secondly, the women on the site appear mostly to be Instagram models / stolen pics. Most seem to be from Ukraine, South America, and the token weirdos from China. Every woman on the site is a lawyer, architect, personal trainer. You'll quickly be bombarded with silly emails, video requests, and the "hey handsome" texts before you even post a picture.
Like I said, total scam.
I lasted about 4 hours on there. It is the most ridiculous site I've encountered.

I had spent over $1,500 dollars on this site. The 3 ladies I was interested in one by one turned out to be fake. One said she was a lawyer, the other said she was a doctor, last one a engineer. Did some checking 2 were peep show stars the other on her Instagram page was engaged, shows her photos of her with him, on website she says she has been alone for 3 years. Always had an excuse for not giving cell Number or letting me give them mine so we could whatsapp. Either didn't have cell or it wasn't working we're the excuses and dating.com is aware but don't do anything because they are a scam looking to make as much money off of you as possible. And I have the proof of what I say with videos of all three. Total scam website. Save your money I'm trying to get mine back.

It's a scam, no doubt about it. They would talk to you and be very nice and seemingly interested, but as soon as you propose to switch communication channel for whatever it is (email, skype, FB etc.) since the site is outrageously expensive, they either ignore it and keep talking to you there or say some BS like they have no other way of communication or simply stop responding. Then a fanny fact I've spent $200 talking to a girl in Ukraine in two days so logically she spent the same responding message for message. It becomes too expensive for me but not for her - single mother living in country with $200 average MONTHLY income. Go figure! :) So it's pretty evident to me: those girls (or whoever behind) aren't paying there for communication like we do, but rather getting paid to do just that.

I just open up my profile and I was contacted straight away by at least 40 very hadsome men from all over the world. 3 of them kept on trying to video call me even if I did not answer them. All of them were writing cheesy pre-written phrases that only some idiots would believe.

Strange set up with new users getting inundated with messages and emails from free users., presume the job of the free user is to talk to paying members to get them to buy more and more credits. Popular/free users never give any personal information so don't think a relationship with them is ever possible - but I could be wrong? Seems a bit shady
