Tried watching a video. Every 3-4 minutes, ads pop up. After the third SET of ads, my video froze completely. No one wants to be bombarded with ads. I go to work and check my emails. I must first delete about a dozen junk emails that have gotten past my "Junk" box. Then I have to clean out another 20 from Junk. I will have to delete at least a dozen more before the end of my work day. While deleting these emails, a bad mannered telemarketer calls me and tries to sell me something. If I check my personal email on my phone; more junk that I have to kill. I have to clean out the office fax machine each morning because a pile of ads are waiting when I get in. I get home and physical junk mail is in my mailbox. My phone rings and it is an automated telemarketer calling my cell phone. And then there are texts from "Facebook friends" that I don't know or want to know. After a day of constant bombardment, I decide to watch a video. I can't because of SO MANY ads. Really!
The connection does not seem to be as great as YouTube and there are way too any adds. There are some that just randomly start playing around the page and it disturbs me from listening to the video I want. Then there are some that just don't go away and I have to reload the page! I defiantly prefer YouTube.
They have such a low upload limit of just 2 hours of total video duration per day. On their website's help page where I was searching, they have listed out the limits for uploading for the account types User and Advnaced. However, there is not a single bit of info. On how to make our account as Advanced.
Such a horrible & vague website. Better use Youtube instead of this website. This website is an infant as compared to Youtube.
These adds that stream in the corner of the screen are annoying and interfere with viewing, especially if there are subtitles. I would rather the program stop and have a selection of adds than the very disruptive streaming adds.
Do not watch it! Visual commercials every 5 minutes, and background voice commercials every few minutes! If you patient enough to stop your movie every few minutes, go ahead and enjoy it!
I wanted to write a review, and it made me to sign up first to be able to leave a comment. It uses all your information from Google+ or Facebook, and all your contacts. After I had sign up, it didn't let me write anything, it said that comments have been disabled!

It's a good video sharing website but it's still way worse than youtube for example by many params in speed in video quality and all other things like that entirely and absolutely anyway, I do want to make all that possible within that risk. Thanks for that!
Lying spammy worthless crap. You will be charged. You will be pissed (if you have 1/2 a brain). Complete liars. Are there captions? Yes! No, actually. Another lie.
Requires a lot of horsepower. TONS of ads and scripts screwing with everything, phishing data, etc. all the time. Pull up the site and listen to your computer fan go into overdrive!
ITS SO BAD. TOO MANY ADS. 2X15 SECOND ADS WITH N0 SKIP BUTTONS. ME WHO BARELY WATCH 10 SECONDS AND THEN IT POPS UP...AND AT ONE POINT THERE WAS LIKE 6 ADS IN LESS THAN 10 MINS EVEN YOUTUBE HAS BETTER ONE I COULD WATCH A 30+HOUR LONG VID WITH BARELY 2 ADS. AT DAILYMOTION I CANT EVEN WATCH A 20 MIN VID WITHOUT AT LEAST 4 ADS POPPING UP

It appears this person must be just another French nincompoop.
Star rating should be less than zero.
The first time I logged in after setting up an account, I had to watch OVER 20 EFFEN minutes of ads and then to make it worse, once the program started, less than 1 minute of program while over 2 minutes of ads so F ALL OF YOU AND YOUR BS!
Maybe the developers of Dailymotion could...

And if...
The link is not valid, the video would not be live on dailymotion
-Survey (Download) blockers
They should... check whether the link the user entered has a survey to block the download from getting downloaded onto someone's desktop or laptop and of there is a survey anywhere inside the site they would ban the video from becoming live on Dailymotion
Watch out for this site as I was forced to Dailymotion.com/us. In google search, I saw an article related to my search word and when i click the link, it redirects to the site above with nothing related to my topic. They need to be called or flagged on this as it has happened three times today.
It drives me crazy trying to watch something on Dailymotion. For one thing there isn't a lot of motion on Dailymotion they freeze up so much. Then when they do run a program they interrupt it every doggone 4 mins with Ad's, and they are the same stupid ad over and over again. They need to time out their commercials better. And show different ones not the same dumb ad over and over again.
Although the visuals are not precisely synchronized with the sound, the sound quality is not distorted. The sound is more important than the visuals. Keep the sound and sacrifice some of the visuals,... It's the Music... Brilliant thank you.
After 2 terminations with no reason, done by "our algorithms," never again. And, because my educational content had static frames, they displayed them at low resolution.
This company sucks. Completely.
Every four minutes I'm getting a five minute advertorial about some city in America. Serious... the program I am trying to watch is on twenty mins long and it's taking over an hour! Can you tell me why this has just started happening?
I've been with Dailymotion for years, never had any problems. I'd posted a few clips here and their, a few clips were private due to being potentially copyright violating, such as funny moments from my favourite shows.
Over the last few years, Dailymotion had been cracking down on NSFW content, despite allowing such content before with age filters. One of my private videos wasn't exactly safe for work, but I'd assume it was permit-able as only I'd view it. A few months ago, I found that same clip on another video sharing site, someone had been attempting to steam private videos that were mine. I messaged dailymotion about it, they didn't reply and today I find my accounts disabled. 30 legit videos gone and one NSFW video that wasn't even accessable. Thank you Dailymotion, now I know where you get your website name. You're full of sh*t.
I love dailymotion.com because there are many videos of varying kinds that cater to many different kinds of tastes.
Registration is not that difficult and the site also has the ability to allow one to upload videos.
The site also has a parental filter ti filter out adult content from the eyes of children.
This is an excellent alternative I would think to youtube.com
Few years ago i was the daily user of this site but now it is getting complicated to use it since whatever i need is not there and its moblie application is even worst i cannot imagine to use it anymore..
I was getting copyright claims on my videos that I posted on YouTube, but at least they were still there. So I started uploading to DailyMotion, thinking that they would not be so restrictive, but I found out after uploading some videos that they banned & took down one of my videos because they said it was claimed by some other organization. I made the video myself but I did use the music from another video. So I decided that if they were going to be so restrictive that I would just delete my account at DailyMotion. My advice is to NOT use this site at all & let it die.
