What ads?
I'm reading all these reviews about there's too many ads on Dailymotion, has people not heard about using an "ADBLOCK"? I haven't seen any ads in years. I am however aware of how bad the ads are on Dailymotion lol, which is why i said to use an adblock. That's all you have to do.
As for Dailymotion in general, the entire site has changed for the worse over the years. But there's some good points which is why i always come back and stay using this site. I will covered the good and bad.
The Good: Quicker and easier way to get verified badge over YouTube. More easy to navigate and browse the site, doesn't feel sluggish, don't need a phone number to access all features, faster uploading system over YouTube, faster optimizing videos over YouTube. Most Important, the Copyright System is way less strict compared to YouTube, you can upload more content which doesn't get flagged.
The Bad: Comments are gone, recently banners were removed, feature videos is gone, the entire user channel design has changed and it looks awful and too plain looking, no categories section, the new front page looks awful, can't see your subscribers, there's no following videos tab on the front page, no dark mode. I uploaded 3 photos, you can see clearly that the entire website front and user channel is terrible looking.
The Bottom line: Despite all the features being removed from Dailymotion, Overall the experience dealing with Dailymotion is better. If you're seeing ads just use an AdBlock, problem solved. I do hope most of the features come back to Dailymotion and more importantly they need to completely redesign the user channel design, its way too ugly and stupid looking now. Now sure what the staff is thinking. Why would you remove banners from a user channel? I would choose Dailymotion over YouTube for the simple fact that the copyright system is way better and less hassle signing up to the site and uploading speed is faster.
I cannot even explain how much i hate this website. They have evaded my adblock and i now am forced to watch MULTIPLE 30 SECOND ADS PLAYING ONE AFTER ANOTHER. They play two at a time and they are unskippable. This is insane. Not using the site after this abuse.
Bad app/website YouTube is a lot better why are there so many ads I mean come on world be nice and why cant you skip them like most apps or websites
That site won't even let me enter my password even though I have it on auto fill with my security password key. This place used to be good until the last few years. The updates have killed that site.
Forgot my detailed ratings. Im glad im not the only one who hate this site. It's useless and it's better for the world to remove Dailymotion from the internet.
DAILYMOTION IS MEGA SCAM. Dont Be Partner with dailymotion. I am working from 1 year. I have to earned about 350$. In payment report it show paid. But in reality not paid. $#*! DAILYMOTION. SCAM DAILYMOTION.
15 Second advertisements every 3 minutes of play, is just too much. I would rather watch 30 second every 15 minutes at least. Cannot focus on what I watch with that frequent interventions.
I've always use this website for my video sharing. Also I get decent amount of traffic from here. I strongly recommended this superb video sharing sites.
The quality of Dailymotion videos lag every 10 minutes and this thing stop to lag when we completely reboot it, and 10 minutes later Dailymotion lag again. And the audio to.

DO NOT PARTNER WITH DAILY MOTION.
I made 600$ with dailymotion with 100% genuine views. Now i have more traffic like 25k in a day on my videos and they are paying only 50-60$ a month. I will not upload anymore and even erase my videos from their website.
I primarily used DailyMotion through the years to watch episodes of MLP, but lately I've hardly been able to enjoy the show because of the insane quantity of advertisements. It's loading ad after ad while I try to watch the video, hogging my internet to the point that the video itself is starting to have trouble loading. I tried turning on my adblock (I disable it for websites that I genuinely appreciate and would like to give ad revenue to), but surprise surprise, the video inexplicably turns completely black after any advertisement loads leaving me to watch the video with only my ears, so I had to disable it and refresh the page.
Lastly, towards the end of the video, DailyMotion directed me AWAY from my video, despite me not touching a thing, to some $#*!ty download for software that I don't even remember what it was, but I guarantee it was either a scam or a virus. That's just plain scummy, especially when I'm letting the site suck up my bandwidth with its non-stop ads.
Good variety of shows and movies, but I'm not using DM anymore whatsoever.
Now there are pop up bamner ads... wont stay in full screen. Prob cuz ads are trying to pop up... its a night mare... ALSO... VIDEOS AUTO SET TO PLAY AT 100 VOLUME WHEN CASTING! HAVE TO WATCH IN THE DAY NOW INSTEAD OF AT NIGHT WHEN EVERYONE IS ASLEEP... WHY IS THIS JUST GETTING WORSE. DAILYMOTION IS UNWATCHABLE!
They close your partner account with no reason and continue to publish advertisements on your videos for their own profits.
This is probably the worst video player i know, bad layout, bad settings. Not user friendly, to avoid
Dailymotion has a new layout. However, signing out or any minor detail such as uninstalling and reinstalling a browser causes it to switch back to the old lame dead tired layout. Shouldn't the NEW layout REMAIN. There are NO instructions on how to switch from the old layout to the new one and I have no idea why I CANNOT access the new layout and KEEP it.
ONE WORD: TERRIBLE.

Ruined an 80 minute Marple with an hour of ads. Never again. DailyMotion corporate should be ashamed.
Last time I watch dailymotion, they way overdo the ads. I swear watched a 1 hour video and 20 minutes were ads.
I uploaded a video, using a song that wasn't mine. I included the info on the song, as well as where to retrieve the original.
I received a copy-write claim. I received a notice that I had to remove the video or reply to the email within 24hrs or the video would be blocked.
Ok, I understand this, and had that been the case, I would have gladly removed the video, after saving it, since it took a lot of work, and my hardcopy of it was lost in a pc crash.
However, the notice was sent to me 40 mins before I was able to read it, I used the link provided to retrieve my video, and it had already been blocked.
It wasn't even an hour, let alone 24...
Now my video is lost.
I understand the copy-write issue even though I did not monetize the video, nor was I gaining any monies.
However, this website is FAMOUS for hosting ripped movies, and TV shows. There are THOUSANDS of videos where people use popular songs. And yet, they attacked MINE?
And then, broke their own rules by not allowing me to retrieve it, in the allotted time?
DO NOT TRUST THIS SITE!
I will never again use it, and I am having my children take their videos down.
We are moving over to Vimeo.
