Needing some specific motorcycle products, I went to my closest CycleGear store, where I found all of what I needed with exceptional service, plus was able to purchase new shoes. They had a great selection, from which I could find the perfect fit. This beats online any day!
My overall experience with cyclegear has not been a positive one. The tire I ordered took about 3 days longer to come in than I was told it would take them when I got my tire mounted they damaged my wheel and have been putting fixing it off for 3 weeks.

Everything at this store is always out of stock, cycle gear sucks shop at Rocky Mountain atv they will have it in stock 90% of the time and it's usually cheaper on the Rocky Mountain site, cycle gear you are kinda ripping people off and don't seem to care

Cycle Gear off Cave Creek has the best customer service of any business period. They always go above and beyond for their customers. They are my first place to shop for my motorcycle and gear because of it.

Easy dotcom purchase and ship to store in just a few days. Great windshield for summer riding. Protects you from the big bugs but provides more air flow to keep you cool.
I bought two sets of tires. They came in in a few days. Took wheels up there. Alex took care of me, mounted and balanced both tires. Very satisfied. Took my second set of tires up there was a slight issue with installation that was resolved within minutes always get treated well in a timely fashion when I go there for tire installation.
The task was mounting tires onto brand new Core Moto forged rims. I really appreciate the extra care Tony and the Cycle Gear crew took with them.
The pictures of the product do not show the product. I purchased a tail case rack. I thought I was purchasing the tail case. The photos show only the case, not 1 photo showed the rack. It was misleading. I returned with no issue.

I'm there so often, the staff are like friends. Great group of humans working there. I would recommend Cycle Gear to every rider I know. The staff are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and the love for motorcycling shines through.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
