The back protector I ordered had very poor sizing information and quite literally was huge in size for me requiring it to be returned. I plan to order a replacement whenever I get my refund however, after two calls to Alplinestars they were still not able to clarify proper sizing. Even the sizing on the product packing isn't clear. This may take up to two more orders to get the right size as the Alpinestars representative I spoke to on the phone wasn't even sure of which size I should order.
The Cycle Gear I went to in San Antonio didn't have the two BILT helmets in stock that I wanted. So, one of the store associates ordered what I wanted. The associate took my order and very carefully verifying my information. I was very pleased!
Service and shipping was top notch helmet if good for the price just loud and more round then oval for the inner do after a couple hours it caused a headache

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
