1) Item description did not provide any critical measurement, the distance between the two mounting screws from center of each. Nor the Length-Width-Depth. Plus photo showed a white housing/body but it was chrome in person!
2) I had my garage moto set to my DR-Z400S. ALL items that fit these specifically should be shown in one category or prioritized from #1. Then universal and other possible items.
This is not amazon where they give you everything….if I wanted that I would go there. When I come to you, I want the quickest and most accurate selection. Otherwise, I'll just go to ebay, Amazon. Revzilla does it better. Or I will go there first instead of to Cycle Gear's website.
It would be helpful if you mentioned exactly which order I am reviewing. I order a lot of stuff from you and other retailers in my quest to restore old decrepit bikes to safe and reliable condition. Assuming this review was for the tires, they were round and rubber and they fit. The price you charged for the tires was great but I think you made up for it by charging what you did for mounting and balancing. I don't know if your prices are higher than others, as I usually do my own mounting and balancing, but those are with tubeless tires. I don't do tube types, as they are way too fiddley. All in all a good experience

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
