The workers were very nice and helpful. Satisfied with the purchase.
Sales person installed my new Sena Gear and explained its operation. He also ordered me a smaller size Helite Turtle 2 Air Vest. Delivery went smoothly. Vest arrived in three days.
The website indicated that the helmet I wanted was in stock at my "local" store. So I rode up to go try one on. Well, they did not have any in stock and had no explanation why the website was wrong. So, I bought the helmet with the promise that I could return it if I didn't like it. Of course, the only way a return would be accepted is if the helmet had no evidence of being worn and no stickers removed. With a giant sticker across the shield, I would not even be able to tell if there was any aberrations in the shield. Fortunately, the helmet is ok but not great for the money paid. It is quieter than my previous helmet but lacks several nice touches that I got used to with the previous helmet. The detents in the face shield are too weak to keep the shield open a crack for better breathing. Every little gust of wind closes the shield. The chin guard also sticks up quite high when open. The previous helmet's chin guard articulated to stay low against the helmet when open. I'm not saying that the Schuberth helmet is bad, quite the opposite; it's a good helmet but could be a lot better for the money. I've also discovered that a replacement face shield will run about $80 which is about $30 more than my previous helmet. C'est la vie
I like this lil shop and the staff members. I can't complain about anything.
I received my item but the zipper on the jacket was stuck. I've had to replace it myself because I didn't want to go through all the trouble again ( I already did once because of the size).
The store didn't have my helmet. So the assistant manager Sam helped me by ordering it online. I've only dealt with Sam when I go there and it's a great experience every time and she is very knowledgeable.
My order came in quickly and the helmet fits just as well as my previous Shoei. ( I just wish I could have gotten the same design as I had before, but that's a manufacturer issue.)
Cycle Gear had the oil filters I was looking for and got them to me in a timely manner. The filters were packer well and arrived undamaged.
Every employee I interacted with, whether the online chat person, or store employees were very very good.
Only annoying part is that's the online delivery sId 1 or 2 days. Ended up being longer and the delivery eta was jumped around on when the products would be delivered.
Presumably just a truck breaking down
Was able to find and order what I needed. Delivery to store was a nice option.
I was hoping for visor to be in stock in store, but delivery was faster than expected.
Returning Daytona boots because the zipper TAB broke was surprisingly easy, and buying a AlpineStars instead, using the store credit, simple. It took me a moment to understand how to apply the credit but I didn't need to ask. It's a shame the Daytona's were so hard to zip up, too tall of an arch perhaps, but the new boots are comfortable and easy to put on.
With my rpm account mind you, the upgraded shipping seems like it only took a day and the 2-5 estimate on my Alpinestars shoes only took 2? Days from shipped notice.
The tires arrived extremely quickly and as advertised. The packaging went above and beyond what was required to keep my order safe. The tires function very well, they are comfortable and gripy.
I wasn't expecting the delivery to be at a drop off location to begin with causing me to have to drive across town to get it in the time frame I paid extra for. On top of that it was Walgreens in the hood part of town so I can count myself lucky to have made it with my catalytic converter still attached to my truck. So my overall experience was that of annoyance.
According to FedEx tracking no one was available at the delivery address when they delivered so it was rerouted to the nearest pick up location. We apologize you had this issue but the carrier makes these determinations not us.
Ordered tires and they were received in a reasonable time..
Noob looking for gear to keep my balls in my sack and not on a guard rail. Exceptional experience, highly experienced and educated personnel on site. Absolutely no pressure just knowledge sharing and professional support.
I ordered tires in the store, they were delivered to my house in only 2 days. Price is competitive.
Easy and quick with the result being that I git a great helmet for a good price.
The purchase was simple, I bought into the club or frequent buyer program and was told I couldn't cancel, I'm out the money and have been getting a constant barrage of email. Nearest location is over an hour from me, so it was a waste of money
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
