I had been looking for a new helmet to replace an aging Nolan and saw Schuberth C3, on sale, with CycleGear. As this was a closeout, sizes were limited and given their shape, I wasn't quite sure what I needed. I called your Richmond, VA store and spoke with Joe, who was very helpful. He had the size I 'thought' I needed, but not the color. He set it aside and I rode over the next day to try it on. It fit and he was able to source the proper color in another location and have it shipped to my home. He went above and beyond in helping me with what was, for me anyway, a fairly large investment. I have done business with CycleGear over the years and always been pleased with the service and products.
I recieved my $600.00 Sergant Seat it perfect order. I attached the seat then went for a ride and seat pop off on a turn. I went down, called Sergant known defect for this model. Cycle Gear will not return the seat blaming it on Sergant. Sergant says the seat was brought from Cycle Gear and they are the seller. I'm now out $600.0 for a defective seat. Zach at 1800 Cycle Gear is no help and very non sympathetic. Arda at the Tampa Bay locate was no help and pass the buck to CycleGear. Com. There is no loyality to the customer who spent thousands of dollars. DO NOT BUY THIS SEAT for YOUR ZX-14R though CYCLEGEAR because the warranty will not be honored through Sergant. This is a qoute from Sergant which I spoke to directly. Cycle Gear will stiff you no since of loyality at ALL.

Had a great experience at Cycle Gear Gilroy, CA. Ordered a set of Conti Attack tires, had them shipped to the store, took my wheels there...mounted, and balanced. Was a Tue, store was not too busy so waited a little while and had tires mounted...so no need for 2 trips. Was a pleasant experience dealing with JP, he's very helpful and knowledgeable.
I was deciding between two different tires for my bike. He explained which one was better and I went with it. It was mounted and balanced in a timely manner. Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
