It took a week to receive at my local Cycle Gear retail store but maybe winter weather was a delay factor. Getting the correct hardware size is worth the wait though.

At 50% off sale I decided to give these shoes a try for a more casual look to go with my riding jeans during the warmer days. They arrived pretty quickly, and seem solid upon trying them on. Have not had a chance to ride with them yet due to winter but I love them already. They fit nice and snug, yet comfy. It perfectly compliments my Indie Ridge leather boots which are waterproof and insulated.

The new tire came in and I was able to have it mounted within 24 hours. I only had to wait about 30mins after I brought them the wheel for it to be done. I am a 69 year old man, 6'0 tall. My usual inseam size is 32, but I went for a longer inseam for 34 in case it rides up. As the description says, the jeans are a relaxed fit and fit the way I want it to. Overall, the quality of the product is top notch. I am happy with the color, the fit, and the features. I was looking for some new boots. The Alpine stars looked like a good value versus features versus good reviews combination. They arrived on time. I've only been wearing around the house so I'm reserving judgment on how they work on the bike but so far so good.

Delivery took longer than notified without bad weather. Initial notification took a few days and then shipper (Fed Ex) experienced a couple of delays. NOT blaming Cycle Gear.

Unfortunately the item I ordered was too small for me. Took it back to a local store and my return was accepted with no hassle at all. Just all around great experience and service.
