Delivery took longer than notified without bad weather. Initial notification took a few days and then shipper (Fed Ex) experienced a couple of delays. NOT blaming Cycle Gear.
I ordered 2 helmets, and the more expensive one showed up defective. Not all bad I guess, they will have saved me $400 when I return it. Disappointed.
Unfortunately the item I ordered was too small for me. Took it back to a local store and my return was accepted with no hassle at all. Just all around great experience and service.
I bought a LS2 Assault helmet with a pinlock insert last summer from Amazon. This winter I found the pinlock was not working to keep the visor fog free and went to the Cycle Gear in Auburn WA to see if they had any idea of what might be wrong. The pinlock had divots where it made contact with pins. They didn't have a pinlock in stock for my helmet so we put a fog city fog shield in. It lasted two days and started fogging again. I took it back in and the salesman found that the anti-fog insert had delaminated from the visor. He found a replacement visor and pinlock on their website, which I couldn't, and we ordered them. I got them in last week but was too sick to ride but the last two mornings my visor has been fog free. I have always gotten good service from Cycle Gear and highly recommend them for all yor Gear needs.
Trust is important, I've got lots of things from cycle gear. Besides a product itself potentially being defective. Or average consumer experiences. This is a good group to buy from. Motorcycles are a great hobby of mine and they make it safer and more enjoyable with all type of rider products.
I ordered a pinlock ready visor and pinlock. I absolutely love both. The pinlock required me to go to the store because I thought it didn't fit, bit the guys at the store got it on in like half a second.
I have been a customer of Cycle Gear for many years. An online shopping and store visits are always pleasant, and sales representatives are very helpful, constructive, professional and not annoying here in DFW area (my go-to stores are in Lewisville and Plano).
My husband enjoyed his Fox Racing gear. Everything I ordered was as described and it came on time. No complaints here. I will definitely be ordering in the future.

The guys in the Miami shop are always very gentle with me. They give me all the info I need, but most of the time I have to search online for a product because it is not available locally
Ordered in person in the store through the online website. I was able to use a coupon for $20 off team had to look for the coupon a little bit, but they were able to help me out. Good service fast shipping!
The package came on time but my only issue was it was left by the road where it could've been stolen if wasn't home. Delivery person didn't even bother to walk it even next to my house just on side of road. But I know that was an issuer with delivery person not company or item.
Employees were knowledgeable and helpful. I had a very good experience. The prices for the parts I was getting were good for a brick and mortar store (hard to beat online prices) but I needed some of the parts now and couldn't wait on shipping.
After I got my tires I dropped off my tires to get mounted and they didn't tell me at the time they couldn't do them and waited till I came back that afternoon to see what they were done to tell me they couldn't mount them. When we're leaving the store, my wife stepped out and almost got run into by a young person on the bike. Zooming up the sidewalk right in front of the door where pedestrians walk in and out of. He then proceeded to aggressively throttle. His motorcycle sending his ear piercing sound throughout the small area where the store is located. This is not the first time I've run into this issue where I've gone there and had someone outside who is either working at the store or as friends. Are the person working at the store aggressively throttling their bike making a bunch of noise and just being immature.
Cycle gear is probably the best one stop shop for everything maintenance and gear related, they have done a lovely job of tire changes for me in the past and carry every item I would ever need
Got my order delivered faster than anticipated. Unfortunately the item didn't work out, but I live near a cycle gear store & was able to return to the store with no issues.
I had found some items online that I wanted to get, however I wasn't sure what size I was. I was able to come in, get sized AND they even placed the order for me online and had it shipped to their store. Once it came in, they notified me, and I was able to try everything on to ensure it fit right. Everyone was very helpful and very accommodating. Thank you so much and this will definitely be my go-to for any of my cycle gear!
Travelled to the brick and mortar CycleGear store in my home state and was not disappointed. The customer rep took ample time to size my new helmet. Tried on what seemed like over a dozen motorcycle helmets until I found the goldilocks one. Thank you Cycle Gear!
Usually I have really bad experiences with FedEx, or just general local shipping fir some reason in general. This was actually really good though, and all the items were in great shape!
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
