We had seen the helmets before and decided to go ahead and get them with the extra cardio headset Lay was there and was very helpful I had talked to Mike about it the day before she ordered the helmets and a couple days later mine was in they installed the headset and couldn't be more satisfied great store and employees the gril that installed my headset done a great job,
My e-bike is heavy. The smallest clasp provided with the fork sensor should fit the fork suspension tube on my bike. Installed, the fork sensor should pair with my Helite Turtle e-Vest Airbag and trigger deployment at speeds below 20 mph if I am hit or have an accident.
Please stop using FedEx as the only shipping preference. They are horrible. Give us the option of paying for expedited shipping services, ie: overnight, second day, etc.

Returned a pair of boots due to a product malfunction. Selected new boots and were delivered quick. Only complaint I have is that the new boots size is a little big and the right ankle support dogs into the ball of my ankle. I don't notice it so much while riding but the second I get off the bike and stand up I feel the discomfort.
The Gerbing gloves had exposed wires inside the gloves. I returned two pairs of gloves for this reason. After the second pair, I gave it up.Since I had the gloves delivered to my local CycleGear store, the return process was super easy.
The glove shells appear well made. The fit is very similar to AStars, though a bit smaller. I wear AStars Large but XL for these Gerbings.
The staff at my local CycleGear store are the best! My shopping experience with CycleGear is always good. Unfortunately, this time the product was not as good as the store.

I ordered 2 Black wiring harnesses and they sent 2 Red wiring harnesses and they will stick out and be easily seen. They don't address the width of your feet and when I ordered my heated socks and got them, I couldn't get them but half way up my foot. I had to order a different brand name heated sock because they had sold out of the biggest size Gerbing like I wanted. Customer service was very helpful with the return of the heated socks that wouldn't fit.

I went into cycle gear needing an adapter for a Leo Vince lv 10 exhaust. The gentleman advised me he could help and repeatedly asked for the year, make and model of my bike. He placed an order and I went on my way. When I received the order it was the incorrect fit. I went back in store to return and the same gentleman advised me they cannot help with that and he wasn't sure why they said they knew which part to get. I am completely confused as to why waste my time stating they were ordering the correct part for me. Although I appreciate the help I would've fathered been told so I wasn't waiting on a part that was not correct.

Ordered tires to come to the Greensboro location because they were supposed to be $30/tire to be installed. Only to find out when they arrive Greensboro doesnt have a tire mounting machine (not on website). And Winston Salem's isn't working. The closest one is Raleigh. Great. Call local shops and no one wants to install them since they weren't bought from them. Call Raleigh to confirm it's $30/tire. Drive 1.5 hrs to to Raleigh and then get billed $110 because they don't list the disposal fee, the inner tube fee, the tires aren't a flat $30 each, etc. So spent 3 hrs and $20 in gas and had to remove the wheels for something I could have had done a block away for a few extra dollars.
My experience with ordering a product from Cycle Gear online was excellent. The product description was good, but I had further questions. I called customer service and they were able to answer my question which helped me to decide which product to order. The product I ordered came to my house within a quick time and was complete. I recommend ordering online products from Cycle Gear.
Great team to work with at the store. My only problem was the USPS delivery. The item was delivered to the mailbox but the store was not given access to retrieve. Had to wait 5 days because USPS held up the delivery.
I always look here first to cross compare products I'm intrested in.weather I'm in store or online they've helped me find the gear I'm looking for. Weather it was trying on loads of gear to find my size or fixing a mistake while still getting me what I've wanted they've been very communicative.
Staff there was amazing came up to us and talked to us about what helmets we wanted and offered suggestions and would look in the back if they didn't have are size and we looked at 3 or 4 helmets each overall I recommend they also have a pretty good selection of street bike helmets

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
We use multiple carriers not just FedEx. Expedited shipping is offered on orders when available. Your item was restricted from expedited shipping because of the lithium battery therefore it had to go regular ground shipping which can take up to 5 business days from the time it ships. I hope this explains our processes better for you and we are sorry for the frustration. We appreciate your honest opinion. Hope to get things right next time. Thanks for letting us know.
