I rarely write negative reviews, but my recent ordeal with Custom Ink compels me to share my experience to potentially save others from similar frustration. I approached Custom Ink for a custom canopy tent order, but the process turned out to be incredibly exasperating.
The main issue was the lack of consistent communication. Every time I corresponded via email or spoke with their sales team, I found myself explaining my requirements to a new person. This lack of continuity in support led to a chaotic and disjointed experience.
Furthermore, I received conflicting information about their custom pop-up canopy for sporting events. It was disheartening to spend so much time trying to sort out these inconsistencies without any productive outcome.
Eventually, I turned to another company for my order, and the difference in service quality was like night and day compared to what I experienced at Custom Ink. It's disappointing because I had hoped for a smoother process and better customer service from a well-known company like Custom Ink.
This place is a ripoff.
I had previously paid for my First order believing that the cost of the Template that I paid for would be applicable for later orders. But NO! They want to charge more than 27.00 for each additional T-shirt I order. Claimed Pandemic and Inflation were the cause.
Oh please. Inflation maybe, but Pandemic? Are they still wearing masks or what?
Bad experience, unfortunately. Ordered in time for delivery 2 weeks before Mother's Day, it didn't show. Reached out, was assured that they would resend it, still didn't show, now past Mother's Day, reached out again, assured that it was going to be resent, never showed, reached out again, no answer. We just lost our money. I see a lot of good reviews, which is why I felt confident about ordering from them, so others must have a good experience. I didn't, and reaching out for help seems to have no effect.
Custom Ink stole my idea for making neon clothing. Watch them make it once I make it or before I make. I'm done.
I ordered shirts, sweatshirts, and hats with my farm logo on it not only for my family and farm workers, but for other individuals that expressed interest in wanting some apparel. The shirts and sweatshirts turned out fine, I don't have complaints about that. However, the hats were a different story. Of the 20 hats ordered, more than 15 had an off centered logo, ranging from 1/8"-1/4" from the middle seam. I contacted custom ink and they instructed me to send pictures and then send in the hats to be fixed. I was pretty much told that they would be a be fixed based on the photos I provided. After a week of sending the hats back to be fixed, I received an email stating that they would not be fixed because "they are within the acceptable range." They state that as long as the center of the logo is on either one of the stitching lines next to the center seam, it is acceptable. Most of the hats were pretty much on that line or farther away. Because of this, I now have 15 hats that have an off-centered logo which costed me $30 per hat. I am dissatisfied with how custom ink handled this and will not be ordering hats from this company any more. If I spend decent money on apparel, I expect them to look the way I drafted and finalized!
While they send u your order and are honest, the ammount of bugs in their website is like a mosquito infestation. Firstly and less-important, the only way you can save your work in the website is to have them email you a separate email for each individual design. So say you have 50 designs...you have 50 emails with 50 separate links. Annoying but nothing to huff over. However...they should at least get the color right. I had chosen a dark brown for the tree design. Or at least, thats how the color appeared on the websites preview. I did notice however the name of the color didnt sound like what a dark brown would be named. When it came in the mail, the color was golden instead of dark brown. Basically it looked like dead yellow trees. I was so disgusted with it I ended up donating it to charity.
They redid my shirt for me after I received a mess of a shirt the details of my Dad's face were a cloudy mess and they agreed with me but the second shirt was absolutely perfect! Thank you so much for making it right.
I was happy to have them correct an order that had an issue and they were responsive and quick to fix it. I will use them again in the future.
Sent t-shirt order to be fixed - shirts came back wrong- off-centered each time - sent photos with proof - Event is this weekend - Custom Ink will not fix the 2nd print error - moving back to my local boots-on-the-ground Printers. Sorry, Custom Ink - you did not meet our expectations.
Had 6 racer back shirts printed for myself and friends and although the design looked great the shirts material was so flimsy We won't be able to wear our shirts. Very expensive mistake.
My order did not come on time, I wanted to return, customer services told me NO I cannot return, needed to go to group organizer, but I never paid group organizer, I paid directly to custom ink web site, with my own credit card, now the hanging on me when call, and when finally, someone answered, I was told the company will not refund any money. Why is company what to take money from people in the worst conditions. I will report this to the Better Business Bureau.
I was supposed to use this website for a school project. So I decided to make an outfit for a character I created. I designed every aspect of the outfit but wasn't given the shoe option. This seems like an important creative feature. They had bags but not shoes?
Anyway good website but seriously where's the shoes?
Custom Inks customer service is one of the best I have ever experienced in an online purchase. They spent two weeks with me emailing back and forth to make sure I got the T-shirts that I wanted!
So, I don't usually write reviews and I also have not gotten my shirts yet so possibly take my review about anything other than the customer service with a grain of salt. I ran into a problem with a logo on my shirt being copyrighted and thus the delivery date was pushed back since the company needed to approve it; however, I called Custom Ink on two separate occasions and their staff was extremely helpful and courteous. One of them even found my email address and emailed me directly after figuring out the problem directly! I cannot stress enough how amazing the people are there! Although I do not have my shirts yet, I am confident that they will look amazing! I will be going to Custom Ink for my tee shirt orders going forward.
I first ordered from Customink in 2020 to surprise my hubby with a business shirt with his logo on it! It was the ONLY custom t-shirt company that I found the particular tool graphics I needed (he's a builder).
As there's no option to erase or hide certain lines in the editing section, I sent notes along with the order to adjust from their end to hide the tool handles behind the anvil and it came EXACTLY as I had requested!
Fast forward to Dec 2021, he has worn the shirt to death! So, being confident in Customink, we ordered 5 this time! ($205 Aud) It took 5 weeks to arrive (pretty good in the midst of a pandemic and in the time frame the company said). Unfortunately this time, my notes were overlooked and the design still had the tool handles in the final design. We were both disappointed after 5 weeks of anticipation and I asked him not to wear them before I got in contact with the company, thinking I'd be given the 'runaround' to pay for shipping and send the order back to fix the error (knowing these custom shirts would just be tossed).
I emailed our problem and Gracie was super quick to reply and exceed my expectations! She let me know a replacement order was already in the system ready to ship and on top of that, gave us a $25 voucher to use next time for the inconvenience! It was such a breath of fresh air to have a company help the way Customink does! *******% recommend this company and I'm excited for our next order with them!
Custom Ink failed to deliver our koozies for our wedding. Order was placed, everything was fine, went to the chat to make sure everything was great. No problems. Then got a call 5 days before the wedding and they tell me that they can't make the order. So my wedding won't have favors now, and now I have 5 days to figure it out. Thanks custom ink for throwing that in my face 5 days before my wedding after having the order for 5 weeks, and me thinking it was going to be great.
I paid to have a logo created for my wedding to be on these koozies and now that's wasted as well!
Now I have no time to figure this out by then. Never will trust them again.
Customer service is the best I dealt in a long time! The only downside is the fact my first order was pretty big so my price per item dropped. I would like order more but any item I get will be substantially higher.

As the product they put out reflects the rotten core of the company and the ethics of the employees. NO INTEGRITY. TOXIC. ABUSIVE. HARRASING. I worked at this place in IHP in Reno NV. It was the most traumatic and abusive experience. Very toxic and cliquish environment, extremely unprofessional. Management is inadequate and favoritism is king. I could not believe it at first, because the conduct of some of the employees would go from openly lazy to manipulative to psychotic to bullying. I would talk to managment. They don't like anyone who is smarter than them and open and honest, because they don't know how to neither want to deal with any issues, which there are a plethora of. Right away I was the black sheep and the "offenders" were the favorites, because they know how to play the game of kissing up to that management. I then went to higher management, thinking there would be integrity and understanding and support there. NO! I was simply told I was the problem. I went to HR! They are all a part of a clique. If you are not in that clique and are a thinking and logical individual with good work ethic who is bothered by rude and manipulative behavior - you should get out. They will make you sick. That was the case. I kept thinking I'll stick it out. Could not believe it was this bad. It was, and it did make me sick and traumatized. A toxic work place with a crowd mentality and a group that is purposefully abusing you in order to bring you down - it is ugly and dangerous for your well being. I regret not quitting as soon as I felt that something was really wrong with the FAKE culture of Custom Ink and many of its employees. In their parting agreement they have a paragraph that you can not sue them for emotional distress, discriminations and such... I am defiantly not the only one this had happened to. Only manipulative chameleons survive there and move up. An honest person with dignity and respect CAN NOT! THE MOST HORRIBLE WORK EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.
