I love Current Catalog! I have been buying from Current Catalog since I was a high school student. My friends and I would order together. It was like Christmas when our order came. Now, I put together baskets of Current goodies and create beautiful gifts for my grandchildren's teachers. I have had nothing but compliments on the unusual items in those gifts. I buy using coupon codes which helps balance out the shipping costs. Yes, you do have to expect slow shipping, but just plan ahead. Also, their sales are great!
I wanted generic address labels. Although I found the price being asked a bit high, I was willing to go with that. Then the shipping charges came up - Whew! I can ship 25 lbs across the country for $11 bucks, but these guys wanted almost as much to ship 2 rolls of address labels. Not for Me! Found similar labels for less cost and more reasonable shipping. Got all that for the cost these guys wanted for just shipping. Take a few minutes and look elsewhere.
I need to add to my original review. I received my shipment today (finally!). I am very pleased with the quality of the products, and they arrived just as I had ordered them. Now that I KNOW what I would be in for as far as transit times go, I would order from Current again. Order about 1 month before you actually need the product, and all should be okay.
Holy cow -- can't believe that CurrentCatalog.com has not been reviewed yet. Current has been around for ages and sells cards, wrapping paper, stationary, and miscellaneous items. It's mainly known for the cards and wrapping paper.
This is place to go for cards, boxes &/or sets of cards: birthday, anniversary, baby, wedding, graduation, get well, thank you, etc.etc.etc. Good quality and the prices can't be beat. This is the way to stock up on cards and NOT have to go get a $5.99 card at a store!
The best wrapping paper around! Good quality, heavy paper and most have a cutting grid on the back!
Only thing is I think the shipping costs are over-priced. Always us a coupon! If you get on the mailing list you get a 20% off your order code 5 times a year plus lots of other savings and discounts.
Update... customer service reps make all the difference... still no labels so I called cust serv again & discovered that Current is ending their shipping contract with DHL because of slow service. The rep checked USPS tracking for my pkg & discovered it's been delivered to my town, probably yesterday, and should be in my mailbox today. The customer service rep makes all the difference. Today's rep was polite, helpful, sympathetic and provided more info than yesterday's rep.
It has been 16 days since I ordered labels and I have still not received them! I emailed customer service 4 days ago and never heard from them. Finally had to call. Waited quite a while to talk with a rep who told me that DHL transfers pkgs to USPS in a hub (for me, NJ) and USPS is given 2 days to get it to the customer. When most retailers get packages to customers within days, Current is taking weeks! I have been a long-time customer but I will never shop at Current again. So disappointed.
I purchase Current products several times a year. Especially stickers I use to make homemade cards for church. Never had a issue, never disappointed with the quality of their products.
I have been a customer for Current Catalog for over 30 years. This past Christmas I ordered over 144 Christmas cards imprinted with our names. The cards were about $12 a pack and Current charged over $20 shipping in addition. I was charged for the whole order yet when the cards came over a third of the order was missing (ordered 8 packs pf 18 cards and only 5 were shipped). Current shipped the missing cards but they arrived too late to use, forcing me to buy other cards to replace the missing ones I had paid for and never received. In addition, the cards I did receive contained 18 cards in a pack but only 16 envelopes so I was shorted again. The worst part is that after Christmas Current did nothing to rectify the cost of the cards I cannot use. I talked to customer service to no avail and also sent a letter with no reply. I will never order from Current Catalog again! Miriam B Loo would be ashamed of what this company has become.

I ordered some return address labels on December 17. It is now January 6 and I can't even get a delivery date from them. The "tracking" isn't updated regularly, so no one has any idea where my order is.
We have been trying to order Christmas cards for 3 weeks now. Can't reset password on website period. Customer service live chat no response for 2 + hours. Called to sit on hold forever finally left number to have them call back still never heard a thing. Called to place the order twice. Finally got a rep that spoke horrible english, didn't know what a "&" was. 45 minutes to order 9 items and still don't know if they are right. I pray they are since it's for a company. Don't use them for anything you don't get much service. We'll see if our order is here in 6 days, not holding my breath though
Ordered a special Christmas present mid November. (Paid $12.00 of shipping on a $30.00 item to begin with). It has now been 5 weeks. They are unable to track the order because it is at a second party warehouse. Yes, it was a personalized item, but there is still no guarantee it will be here 6 weeks later for Christmas. In this day and age of on-line shopping it is shameful the time and expense to receive an item. There are so many other better options out there. I would definitely look elsewhere. (I even live in the same town as Current.) Just very poor, reminds me why I stopped using them in the first place.
These people didn't include city and state on my address labels and ruined them all and wanted me to pay full price for new ones. Never again will I use this company!
Christmas labels were ordered early December with a 2-3 day processing and 5-9 day shipping window. Did not arrive by Christmas as promised. It's ridiculous that a tiny item like labels takes 3 weeks plus to ship. Will NEVER shop this company again.
I ordered Christmas address labels a month prior to Christmas and was told they shipped on Dec. 2. When I called to check on tracking information, I was told they might not arrive until January 4. The customer service (a joke) representative was basically laughing at me saying, "Too bad. You should read the fine print. We ship all labels out third class mail with the USPS and it's not our problem." I paid $7.99 for shipping. What a joke. You're right, Mr. "Customer Service", it's not your problem, but it might be when customers see how your company is run. You've lost one customer for sure.
When I was a kid, my parents would order our address labels and address labels for me, from Current. This Christmas, we have a new house, so I thought, "Let's get some new labels with our new address! Just for old time's sake." That was 14 days ago. Current said they shipped them on 12/6 (the day after I ordered them). It took a full 6 additional days for DHL to update with anything but they're "en route." They were transferred to somewhere in New Jersey on Friday (four days ago) and the USPS doesn't recognize the tracking number supposedly assigned to them. I should've just set $15.00 on fire. You're a stationery company during the holidays, get your act together! So frustrating... never again.
This company has changed. I have been ordering from them for over thirty years and now the quality is gone. They take too long to ship even with express shipping. Prices in catalog do not reflect on line prices. The final straw for me was I ordered a calendar and it came up as two of the same item. Customer service rep said it has already processed ( I just ordered yesterday) and I would have to refuse the package when delivered. WHAT! I will no longer order from them.
I have periodically ordered from Current Catalog for 35 years. There has always been a bit of delay in receiving my orders but lately the delay has gotten extensive. I placed an order on 9/7 for something that I needed today. They did not even ship the order until 9/14. The anticipated delivery date is 9/20. No other mail order waits a week to send out an order. Three weeks to receive an order is poor business. I am now at a loss as to what to do about the needed item. By the time it arrives, it will be useless.
This is very bad business practice - considering I could have ordered something very similar from Amazon and received it in two days. I will not be ordering from Current again.
7 weeks ago I ordered personalized clothing labels, paid at point of sale. This company took my payment with no problem--getting my order, or getting them to answer my query as to where the items are is quite another story.
I received an email 3 weeks ago saying my order had shipped. To date I have not received it. I have sent two emails to customer service alerting them to the problem, with absolutely no response.
What can be done about this? Nothing, and I think the company knows this. They have my money so they don't care if I am satisfied or not.
My advice to shoppers out there -- stay away from this company. They will gladly and quickly take your money, and then be done with you. Shop somewhere else.
Card stock is cheap, cards are NOT folded, who does that? They won't send call tag so I've paid to ship this crap to myself and get to pay to ship it back. The on line chat customer service person as snotty as could be.
This used to be a great company. My family started ordering from them decades ago (and by that, I mean in the 70's). I don't know what has happened, but the shipment (6 days later), has not gone out. I was told at first that it should ship today, then the rep changed her tune to next week. She said they have up to 9 business days for delivery (it's been 5 business days). If it ships next week, ground, there is no way the order of over 30 items will get here in 9 business days or less. Not going to happen. Then I was told 4, then 3, of the items are back-ordered. Now, the company had 6 days to tell me that. These are items FOR October. After confirmation of the order, I heard nothing else.
I emailed and I called. This is a waste of my time I still don't know when it will ship.
I do not trust this company any longer, and I don't think you should, either.
I ordered 48 invitations for a party - I received 48 invitations but only 24 envelopes. I sent an email to customer service and received the automated acknowledgement. I waited three days - no response. Tried again - same acknowledgement. No response after a week. So I called. Explained the issue - "customer service" agent said "let me see what I can do" and put me on hold. I sat and listened to how important my call was for almost ten minutes. Then he comes back and says they will mail out envelopes for me to receive in 7-10 days. Seriously? First of all response should have been - so sorry we will mail those right out priority. Not put me on hold. Second of all 7-10 days to be able to mail invitations is unacceptable when it was their error (packing slips both noted "invitations and env." Never again. Current has lost a customer.
Answer: The service is bad. Really bad. I couldn't. Then they couldn't find me as a customer, then they said they were shipping today, then they said next week.
Answer: Wanted multi-packs of birthday cards for my mom's stash, and were much cheaper than UNICEF I normally order. Never again will I use them. Extraordinarily poor service getting missing item from shipment sent. Back to UNICEF!
