I recently booked a cruise and I would check in periodically to see how the prices fluctuate as the sail date approaches. On this particular cruise, I noticed the price we paid for an interior stateroom was now the price for a balcony! I called Cruise Direct and spoke with Kyle who called Norwegian to see if they could upgrade our cabin at no charge because of the price change and I was pleasantly surprised when Kyle informed me that they upgraded us! We wanted to book another cruise and as I am now very hard of hearing I went on to the online chat Our chat agent was extremely helpful especially as its difficult for me to use the telephone which she didnt see as a problem at all and we are looking forward to our cruise on 6th February which I am sure will be just as enjoyable as the last.

My first time using a site such as cruise direct to book my vacation. The dates for the cruise I wanted were not available so I called and spoke with a cruise advisor, Ryan, he check as well without any luck. Ryan gave me his telephone number with extension and told me to keep calling back and to continue to check the website for any availability that may just pop up. I spoke with him several times and he went out of his way to be helpful, very pleasant to speak with and followed up with me several times. A few days after I was booked I received a lovely email from Ryan wishing me a great day and that he was happy that I got "my golden ticket". A huge shout out to Ryan Grulke! Enrique with Cruise Direct went to bat for me to get a full refund when the cruise line itinerary was changed. Because of some confusion with the travel group I was in I missed the deadline to cancel my cruise. The cruise line refused multiple times to give the refund. When I explained what happened to Enrique, he went to bat to get me the refund anyway. He ROCKS! And I'm happy.

Hans Vega was amazing. My husband and I have poured over cruise sites for weeks knowing that we have budget and time for a cruise with the family, but sites are not set up for groups of 5. They have the best customer service I have ever used. I have a cruise for May 8 the today is may 4th I did all my paperwork for express broarding on my computer when I went to print it out my computer broke. I couldn't print the passes. I was so upset that I would have to make the line at the dock. I call them an ask if they could fax me a copy of my broarding pass they told me they could that they will mail it. Well today they sensed someone to my house with the broarding pass. They are like about 2 hours away from my house. But my agent made sure that I got the passes. I have travel many times and this is the first time. Something like this has ever happen to me. ( my mother is in hospice at home that why I couldn't go somewhere else to print the passes) I will never use another agency other than cruise direct. That was my experience with them. I am so sorry to hear that your booking was canceled! Our system sends out 2 automated emails and then an agent calls and emails the guest prior to a booking canceling due to nonpayment so I would like to review this and see what I can do to help you here. I can assure you we never want to lose a booking so we would not intentionally let a booking cancel. If you do lose your deposit, the cruise line is the one that keeps that money, so there is no motivation for us to try and trick you into losing money.
