I've gotten 3 full size products from crowdtap! It's a time killer but also awesome way to test products you normally wouldn't buy
I was really impressed with this site while I was able to use it. You had to put a good amount of work into it to make money and get free items to try. You mostly receive amazon gift cards for every certain amount of points earned by doing actually fun surveys and polls which I liked, and some missions mailed products to your door for you to try and earn more points from. The only problem was that sometimes it took longer than expected to receive a product that I was supposed to review within a few days after receiving, therefore only getting a day or two to try and review a product. Also it sucks to be a user on this site when you have a job and a life outside of sitting at home and being able to complete mission tasks all day, because they will penalize you for not completing a survey about the item you received within the amount of time given. I wish I knew I would be banned for this because you will get banned from the entire site when you get flagged for not finishing the survey, and I feel as though that is a bit much. Also I noticed that a lot of users would just put a few words for the commenting missions where you were told to write multiple sentences and go in depth about a product and it seemed unfair that I, a user who constantly put the best into my reviews once I was able to do them, was banned over people who half $#*! their reviews and do everything quick so they can get what they want. I wish they would have given me more warnings about writing my reviews for the product I received and also given me a bit more time or somehow let them know when I receive my product so they can create a timeline from then for me to complete the mission. With that, however, it is definitely not a scam as while I was a user on it, I earned many $5 amazon gift cards pretty easily as well as full sized and a few sample sized products to try. That's the good thing about this site. So as long as you're super on top of things you will probably enjoy it.
Hi Claire - Thanks for your review! We're sorry to hear about your experience, and if you email us at support@crowdtap.com we can give you a further explanation of why you were banned and some options you may have. We do let members know then they've been flagged to prevent getting banned, so we're happy to troubleshoot why you may not have gotten that email.
I love this company. They do reward you for your time. I have redeemed my points my multiple gift cards And they even selected me to try products.
Crowdtap is so far ahead of all the other sample and review sites out there. It's much more interactive and the surveys are fun and make you think.
Thank you, Lindsey.
I truely hate them, I have sent them tons of emails and messages and NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. DO NOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT OR YOU WILL BE SUCKED INTO THEIR IRREVERSABLE TRAP
Hi there, If you submitted an account deletion request to our team we have received it and we are processing it. You will receive an email when your account is fully deleted.
I enjoy being able to take surveys & give my opinions for the chance to try free samples AND earn gift cards.
Thank you for the review, Veronica.
I love Crowdtap, I let everyone know that this is an amazing site. Two thumbs up! I have received gift cards and some free shampoo and conditioner,
Another scam by G2 Crowd which does not fulfill their claims to pay for people's efforts for their opinions, surveys and views. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
Hi Helena - Thanks for your comment. We are not affiliated with G2Crowd in any way. Our website does appear there as some of our members and brands we work with review us on there. We're happy to help clarify any questions or issues you may have if you email us at support@crowdtap.com!
I love this website. It's so awesome you can get gift cards and products from it. This is my number one website.
We appreciate your review, Brenda.
I love Crowdtap. It gives me a chance to get extra spending money and from time to time try new things that I might not buy right away at a store.
Hey there, Mandy! Yes - who doesn't love a little extra spending money and trying out new things? We're glad you're enjoying Crowdtap.
I love crowdtap and I like the samples that send you can try and know if you like this is true and it is very amazing.
Thank you, Abigail. Glad you enjoyed your sample of Java House!
Great company. Would love to get more samples to try and review. Not a big fan of the new setup but will get used to it
Thank you, Lindita, for your review. Brands that sponsor samplings have a target consumer in mind that they want to reach. Sometimes you'll meet that criteria; other times you won't. Sampling opportunities also have limited spots available which means not all members who qualify will always be selected. Believe us, we'd like all our members to get the chance to try something new and share their honest feedback with brands.
As the Crowdtap community grows, we will continue to improve our sampling selection process, always working toward the goal of giving as many as possible a chance to participate.
I consider crowdtap something relaxing and easy to perform. I liked the way to do surveys, but a day ago here, the page is presenting problems.
Thank you for your 5-star review, Vale. We're so glad that you enjoy Crowdtap. To get in touch with support, you can always reach the team at support@crowdtap.com.
I love crowdtap! I learn about different brands and their new products! It's fun to receive samples also so I can try before I buy!
Thank you for your review, Kristen.
Mostly kinda short surveys and interesting ones fast pay out only up two days earn money very fast surveys
When I first found this site, I was really excited and opened it all the time to answer questions. I found it to be a fun and easy way to voice opinions and get modestly rewarded for it. However, like many others, my account was recently disabled and I really had no idea why as I always answered honestly. When I put in a support ticket, I was told my account was "disabled due to multiple identified accounts". The problem is - I don't recall ever making multiple accounts on Crowdtap - I was just always logged in with my same account, so I don't know where the multiple accounts came from. Perhaps it's because I have multiple emails associated with my personal google account (you know, one personal, one business, on school, etc), and it somehow registered that as 'multiple accounts'? I'm not really sure, but when I asked a follow-up question to find out if they could tell me what accounts were under me so I could investigate if further as I was worried there might have been some sort of security breach on my end, the response I got back was very quick, but kind of rude... I was basically told the same thing "Your account has been deactivated due to multiple accounts coming from your location and device... We have thoroughly explained the reasons for deactivating your account and will not continue to discuss the matter. This will be our last form of communication with you regarding this issue". I don't think the reasons were thoroughly explained as it was the same response as I got the first time, and the closing of the issue without being fairly assessed seemed curt and rude... and left a bad taste in my mouth as I still don't believe I had multiple accounts - if I did have multiple accounts by accident, I only ever used one account, so it just didn't seem to make sense. So, overall, Crowdtap is great! Until you get disabled without adequate resolution and get cut off by rude customer service..
Hi Katherine, We've sent you a message about this with more information, and our team has followed up with your request via email. Don't hesitate to send us a reply if you'd like to learn more.
I've been using Crowdtap for a while now and I enjoym sampling products, doing surveys, and sharing my ideas and opinions with others.
Monica, thank you for your review.
Its very cool to get your stuff but one thing is do not because they will ask you the same stuff twice to make your telling the truth
I've been a member for about a year and is legit. I have cashed my points into gift cards and never had a problem.
Use it, is really worth it.
I have been with Crowdtap for over 6 years. I never had a problem with them one time until last Dec. 2021. It was two weeks before Christmas and they disabled my account along with many other people. I didn't do anything wrong. I got it back and have been disabled 3 times after that. I was told I was a bot one time, another time their security system didn't recognize my I. P. address. If it happened again where I was disabled, I was to contact Betty again and tell her. I've been trying to get a hold of her for a month! No response from her. The lady who did respond told me I am a bot and she can't reinstate my account. Give me a break! I barely know how to turn on a computer! If I was a bot, then why didn't Crowdtap get rid of me 6 years ago? This is woefully unfair to all of us good people out there who didn't do anything wrong. And from what I see on here and other review sites, there are a lot of us. Not everybody is a crook but that is how Crowdtap treats their loyal customers. And yes, the survey takers are Crowdtap's customers too. I've submitted several tickets to support. No answer back. Very unprofessional. In typing this, my stomach actually hurts. It sickens me that this company is doing this to good people. I finally lost my temper on them. I am a very laid back person, but after almost a year of their unprofessionalism and uncaring, smug attitude, I couldn't take it anymore. Who could! When you haven't done anything wrong and someone doesn't believe you, and treats you like a criminal, it's just beyond the pale. I have never experienced a company like this in my life. I honestly haven't and it's sad. I really liked Crowdtap and I'm sad to see this.
Answer: You are not compensated for anything. You earn points. The points get you entries in contests. You could win just like you COULD win the lottery. You do not earn points that you can cash into gifts card or money. Remember this. Many times people who work for the company will do reviews on sites like this to make the company look good.
Answer: If you don't answer questions their way you're getting kicked off with no explanation or a response. And they will keep whatever points you have earned. They purposely ignore your emails. Sinister.
Crowdtap has a rating of 2.4 stars from 348 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Crowdtap most frequently mention gift card, customer service and enough points. Crowdtap ranks 10th among Survey sites.
Thank you, Cara, for your review! Glad that you've enjoyed the samplings.
