If I could put a Zero down I would for this website. They flagged me as a respondent only when I had been on the site for months and months. When I went to redeem a $165 gift card, they told me I was flagged, but would not give a reason. NOT TRUSTWORTHY...A WASTE OF TIME.
What a ripoff does not even let you know what you did wrong or anything just puts you out the door and doesn't tell you what they are going to send you what they owe you.
Do not use this app! I was banned for no reason after 2 years. They were awesome before this. I was ready to cash out. Thank goodness I didn't have $50 taken like I been hearing other people. What the heck is going on?! I couldn't even get in the app to leave a bad review so I had to come here. It's probably why they still have 4.7 ratings.
I was a member for decades. Decades. I was one of the first to join the site. I logged in every single day, I completed at least 16 surveys a day. Today, I was met with this. "Account Disabled" I have nearly 3000 points earned, and I used to cash out at 5000 for Amazon or Walmart. I am very conscientious when answering surveys, so I do not believe there was a problem with the quality of my responses. I am 70 years old, I have been challenged with multiple sclerosis for more than 54 years to date, and I am vision impaired. Age discrimination?! Discrimiation because of one or both of my disabilities?! I work at answering surveys to feed my family... This was important to me, this IS important to my family.
If I could give zero stars I would.I have been a member of Crowdtap since 2018.In that time they have disabled my account for no reason at least ten times.The last time I was accused of violating terms of service and argued with them for a month before someone actually did their job and looked into it and it was because I didn't have a cell phone number on my account.They never tell you what you supposedly did wrong because most of the time you did nothing wrong.Yesterday I do surveys for an hour or so and sign out to take a shower and cook dinner for myself and my disabled mother then I try to sign in to do the rest and my account is banned,for no reason again.This always happens right when you are close to having enough points to get a gift card.Read other reviews and you'll see this happens quite often.I have filed a complaint with the BBB and I think those of us that they keep doing this to should start a class action lawsuit or complain to the Attorney General in New York and try to have them investigated for bad business practices.If you haven't tried this company I would suggest you don't and if you've had a good experience so far that will change soon when you start to earn a little bit of money.
So it finally happened to me after reading about it happening to so many others. Had been on here for a solid year, earning as much as $60 a month. Just cashed out for 5 bucks and immediately I can't get back into my account & says I've been banned. These people are slimy!
Another issue I had with them is I was signed up to do a $100 survey. They confirmed with me multiple times, both through calls and emails. Then literally 30 seconds before the interview was scheduled to start, they cut me and offered $20. I raised a stink since I had scheduled my whole day around this and ended up getting the original $100 offered. By the way, none of the emails indicated that being cut at the last second was even a possibility.
I was using Crowdtap for 2 years or more I think? I use it most of the time answering surveys, I take my time in answering as well. But the past months this 2024, surveys become repetitive. The main incident was (similar to the reviews prior mine), is everytime when I cash out $15, they disable my account. At first - they said I didn't follow their guidelines, they reactivated twice, but again gave me another reason to disable again (I wasn't taking any survey anymore during my last reactivation) because they said my answers are low quality. Oh well.
Another agent handled my other ticket, and they disabled my account after reactivation in just 2 days. I wasn't answering any surveys the past 2 days.
It's sad that it has become a waste of time, answering all those surveys and ended up having not being able to claim the reward.
And also, to think that disabling my account just happens everytime I cash out. Maybe they got tired of paying people in the end.
After signing up, I was banned within minutes. I had never used the site before. I contacted support. They sent a standard statement which explained nothing.
Closed my account and most others for rules violation. Would not state the reasons for weeks, finally said they did not have a working phone number! Have had same # for over 20 years. Cashed out and never went back. They are bad people!
This is absolutely one of the best survey sites I have ever used. The surveys are really fun and easy to answer. I love the fact that some are really short then others take time. No matter the time I spend on website just flies bye. I cant wait to check my emails to see if I got any surveys available. Love winning gift cards they come in handy.
They will randomly delete your account and offer no evidence of the alleged "inattentiveness". Then they'll reinstate on appeal, only to ban you again immediately thereafter, even if you for a fact answered everything truthfully and attentively. Especially if you try to cash out the points you earned! Yes, that's right, you can have a payout literally in the middle of processing and they'll still ban you and not pay. Scumbags.
I did surveys for Crowd Tap for a couple of years. Recently my account was disabled without an explanation. When I requested an Amazon gift card using my points. I was directed to complain to a bot but never get a response. I never got the gift card, plus I still had quite a few points left with the site which they keot. My advice, do not do surveys for Crowd Tap. At a certain point they disable your account and don't pay you. It is illegal not to be paid for work you do. They rip you off
I would say I enjoy the app and I like how honestly it feels like your playing a game and you need to clear the board to win. Easy to earn gift cards, but they say it takes 1 or 2 days to receive gift cards, but mine takes about 3 to 4 days to get the gift cards.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!
I've spent months racking up points, little by little, only for my account to be conveniently disabled when I reached enough points for a $20 reward. Contacting support gave me no information as to why whatsoever, except that I violated their terms and of course, not which ones, and essentially cheerfully told me to buzz off. I really could have used that tiny bit of money.
The end of the email in the photo reads "Thanks for choosing Crowdtap and have a great day!" Yes. I'm having a great day. I love trying to be civil and reasonable only to get cheated out of rightfully what I earned. (Note my sarcasm.)
If you earn anything, just cash it out immediately. Please. Don't let them do this to you too.
When you are using the site, it is low paying but effective. However, they will ban you randomly. I was banned twice.
Once they admitted was a mistake.
The second time they said my response was unhelpful when asked, ""What products similar to this new potential brand do you currently use?" Your response reads: "I don't use anything like this." I don't believe this response is worthy of a ban and I'm not sure how else I could have responded honestly.
Unless you want to submit responses and risk getting banned for no reason, I can't recommend this site to anyone.

Crowdtap is great at first,then after a while they disable your account for no reason.This has happened to me multiple times most recently on April 4,2024.I had over a 50 day streak and had used my points for a Wal-Mart gift card a few days before that I haven't received.Seems they always pull this right before or right after you use your points for a gift card.They give some lame reason and never explain.They seem to just make up a reason and disable your account when you make a little bit or use your points often.I have been a member since 2018 and this has happened 6 or 7 times and they gave me my account back all the other times but so far this time they have not.My advice would be cash out as soon as you can because sooner or later they are gonna disable your account and screw you out of your earnings.
I was a member since 2018.Several times during that time as I was getting close to enough points to get a $20 gift card they would disable my account so I would contact support and they would say it was done by mistake.December 21,2022 I tried to sign in and it said they were having issues so I tried again later and it said my account was banned,conveniently just as I'm about to have enough points for a $20 gift card.I contacted support and was told I wouldn't be getting my account back because I had violated the terms of service or community guidelines which I have not done.Perhaps the person from support that emailed me back is just lazy and banning people because I see alot of people on Facebook having been told the same thing by them.I filed a.complaint with the Better Business Bureau but it probably won't do any good.I would suggest cash out as soon as you can because eventually they will ban you for no reason and steal your earnings.
I've been using this site for about 2 months now and I am definitely happy with them. It's incredibly easy to use and I've received free samples that are very generous compared to free samples you get from other sites. I've also cashed out $5 gift cards with them several times in the past 2 months. I strongly recommend.

Crowdtap sends full sized products (usually numerous ones) in your crowdtap box. You get to try out new products and It has really helped me find some amazing products that I would have never tried before.
Answer: You are not compensated for anything. You earn points. The points get you entries in contests. You could win just like you COULD win the lottery. You do not earn points that you can cash into gifts card or money. Remember this. Many times people who work for the company will do reviews on sites like this to make the company look good.
Answer: If you don't answer questions their way you're getting kicked off with no explanation or a response. And they will keep whatever points you have earned. They purposely ignore your emails. Sinister.
