My keyboard went out in January and twice after that. Worked for over hr. On FB with Tech and problem was not corrected. Found out others were having the same problem and it has not been fixed (SINCE JANUARY) Went to pay my monthly bill today (9/28/22)on the CRICKET phone and it logged me into their site, but stated there was a technical problem to come back later. Noted the same complaint from others. DON"T use CRICKET.
Very poor customer service, unable to solve the issue/problem where my card was double charged for a bill. The only thing they could do was give me a credit for next month.
We switched from Verizon to cricket because it was cheaper. It's half the price, but 1/100th the quality. We were reassured constiantly that we had 4g speeds in our town. When we arrived at our town with cricket we came to find that we had no signal in our town at all except on the edge where we don't live. Even there it is not near 4g speeds. We were getting less that. 1mbps downloading speed. Upload speed was too slow to even measure. Definitely not worth the price. The coverage cricket claims to have is a lie. Very bad company. DO NOT GET!
On 8/17/24 around 2:19pm at5420 US HWY 98 N Lakeland FL ******* I decided to upgrade phone. Although the sales associate Kelly was nice they failed to inform the following: Power cord for phone was not adaptable to wall outlet along with no AC outlet plug included in box. She also failed to mention that sim card was email and not physical to put into phone as to when I opened the box. When I got home across town I opened box and noticed the missing items. When I looked at receipt there was NO NUMBER OF STORE LOCATION to call and ask about my issue. The number you provide is a *******377 which DOES NOT allow you to speak to NO ONE. When I call your support line I got Kevin from El Salvador (outsourcing jobs) I was on hold for 19:35 minutes after speaking with him and asking for supervisor I was put back on hold by this time I was driving back to store location (GAS NO CHEAP) and when arriving at store I showed store associate OMAR my phone still on hold at 49:13 minutes. This is not customer service and definitely not worthy of a smile like your menu prompt says. Who ever or if ever reads this feedback in this day and age of social media customer feedback reaches far more people. When I work YEARS AGO with a company that purchased Cricket we did not have this type of service or lack of. Not to have a phone number for a customer to reach a store is unacceptable. They also did away with senior discounts and all discounts. I will be making it my mission to let EVERYONE KNOW how Cricket has gone down in a spiral direction.
Called about discrepancy in hotspot data usage, 1st call rep couldn't explain, asked for supervisor, call terminated. 2nd call, explained issue, rep couldn't explain, ask for supervisor, call terminated. 3rd call asked for supervisor right away, got put on hold for 50 minutes, then disconnected. Will be cancelling service soon.
When I went to join Cricket, I went for the free phone for new customers, they did NOT honor that. They are a bait and switch company. Will not upgrade your phone either! Metro PCS does both honor their sales AND upgrade your phone. Cricket needs to be SHUT DOWN
Please take my advice, Do NOT give this company your money! I made the mistake by switching to them, spent a grand to switch over. I've had nothing but little to no service for the last month. I finally had enough and decided to just spend the money and switch carriers again, could not take my calls being dropped any longer. I called them up and they go through two hours worth of troubleshooting which did nothing. Finally they tell me that a tower is down and it will be fixed tomorrow. I tell them it's too late for that crap, I won't go another minute with no phone so I am switching services and demand them to repay me for the last month that I couldn't make calls. And then they tell me that they don't do refunds they can only give me credit on my next months bill. What! Are you kidding me right now? You are a company, a business, a service, and you can't give refunds? What good is a credit to me if I'm ending my service!?! It's useless to me! You expect me to stay with a company and I can't even make a dang call from my house? This company has horrible customer service! If I can help one person in writing this review to warn them about this $#*!ty cell phone company then that will be worth all the money and time I have lost to these people! Please don't make the same mistake as I did and waste your money on this thieving a$$ company!
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The Customer Service Reps can barely speak or understand English. Based on repeatedly calling until I could find one with a degree of fluency I would guess 1 out of 4 is able to understand English spoken clearly and slowly. I have yet to find one that can assist in all simple matters like password reset, bill payment issues.
ANTIQUATED ONLINE ACCESS:
Need a password reset? You better have the phone with you and it better be operational If its broken or not with you (as in my case, it's 500 miles away)... you cannot get a password reset like every other carrier who has the ability to send it to your email on file. Ridiculous!
I ordered two Sim cards and two phone cards online (biggest mistake EVER!) After I completed the order got the confirmation number and money was taken off my card the order was cancelled. Now I have been waiting TWO WEEKS for the money to come back on my card. Never again will I use this company and I don't recommend to ANYONE. Unless you wanna get screwed out of your money that is.
Customer service at cricket wireless is terrible the language barrier is horrible Representatives cannot speak very good English I called after having a card compromised to change my new card on auto pay where I had had auto pay for several years representative did not explain to me that I had to make a manual payment that day in order to keep my service on they actually suspended my phone service after I gave them my card number charge me the reconnection fee and would not refund it I am very displeased with their operation and their courtesy I work for a business that takes reviews very personally and for $15 it's not worth my time to keep complaining over the phone because they blocked my call but I think it's pretty pathetic because it's just about the principal not about the money why would you ever do an auto pay and then expect your service to be cut out very unprofessional would not recommend this service.
I was told by the warranty company i needed to do two extra step to get my. Replacement phone. But ms. Anxora Addison called the company and gave store number and explainwd my. Situation. I was given wrong info and she walked me through it all. I was told they may have the affidavit i needed come to find out i dont need one. She was very help. I was very worried that i didn't look for application to compleye the paper wrk correctly. She was great.

I would like to say if you want the worst customer service go with cricket. Every problem requires 30 min hold tomes transfering and being hung up on. Every experience has been horrible for sure!

At 7635 you will probably reach Daisy, who will not give her company id or the first letter of her last name. They are filled with deciept and lies, even at HQ. Daisy claims she is in the same team as CEO Dwyer CALL THEM NOW AND OFTEN! PUSH FOR REAL CHANGE IN HORRID CUSTOMER SERVICE! I WILL BE POSTING THE RECORDED CONVERSATION VERY SOON! Save yourself the frustration and avoid this service. If you're looking for an honest review, here's my experience. I was a customer of their top plan for years, but enough was ENOUGH.
Inferior - Their service, Good luck trying to maintain a decent quality phone call with this service, much less an important call. You'll both continually ask each other to repeat your selves to the point you hang up hoping for a better connection next call.
Slow- Their internet connection and hotspot speed. I often wanted pull my hair out waiting for the page to load, simple tasks were easier and more efficiently accomplished with a laptop on public wifi.
Incompetent - Describes their staff and even Customer services supervisors. Numerous occasions I've rang their 611 ( customer service) number with questions and unfortunately ended the call with more frustration than when the call began. Good luck getting any actual useful information from them, yet alone have a question answered from them. Not only are they difficult to understand, apparently their headsets aren't quality enough to offset their headsets so they're not breathing directly into the mic. Just today I spoke with 2 reps and experienced this very issue, one of which was noticeably upset when I asked reposition the headset and repeat their selves due to the inability to understand them due to their respirations.
Coverage- If you're looking to travel a bit (international) and want a service you can keep with you, this isn't it.

Cricket is a rip off done charged me 55 dollars tjem cut my phone off cus they wanted 5 more dollars cus the 55 I paid was just for my bill so they charged me a fee of 5$ plus another 5$ to pay that fee.then I did a bridge payment cus they turned. The prices are great but if you cannot stand terrible customer service, stay away from Cricket. It's difficult to actually get a hold of a live person and when you do, expect to talk to someone over in India with a thick accent. They have no email and no live chat option aside from maybe myexpert app, which also doesn't have the best reviews. I posted a review on their website about the Cricket Ovation about how annoyed I was with the phone and the review got deleted. It did not contain profanity or anything inappropriate. The only difference between mine and other reviews was me going beyond talking about the phone and complaining about customer service. And then they have replies to reviews that clearly don't match, like "thanks for you're 5 star review" when it's a four star review and "that's great news" when you look back at the review and think "what great news?" Good luck getting a straight answer from them except when you want to praise them for how awesome they want everyone to believe they are. Overall, I have not had a good experience with Cricket. If I can I'll probably end up rooting my phone. Seriously, if you have more money to spend on a phone, go with a higher end company. You really do get what you pay for.
